Beautiful little castle! It was high on my list of castles to visit on my trip around Scotland, but it was closed for some restoration while I was there, in 2014.

It looks like you are having the same issue with the pine trees that we are having over here in the States. Something is killing off all the pine trees. Some blight or fungus.
