I process separations and retirements at work, and have come across people worried because retirement came faster than expected, and they don't have anything set-up to assist income along with retirement. 3 years ago, I started investing with $300k, but I've only made about 6% total, or 2% per year, which my friends say is very low. I also put $800k into a 401k with a financial advisor, and it's now worth about $1.2 million after 10 years. I think I need to revamp my portfolio. Any advice on what to do with my money would be greatly appreciated.

The best course of action if you lack market knowledge is to ask a consultant or investing coach for guidance or assistance. Speaking with a consultant helped me stay afloat in the market and grow my portfolio to about 65% since January, even though I know it sounds obvious or generic. I believe that is the most effective way to enter the business at the moment.
My advisor is ‘’Catherine Morrison Evans’’ she’s highly qualified and experienced in the financial market. She has extensive knowledge of portfolio diversity and is considered an expert in the field. I recommend researching her credentials further. She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market

Discovered you three days ago, Austin. I'm trying to catch up with all your videos (got a jam-packed watch later). Keep producing and keep sharing the content. Happy new year!
When compared to the supplied benchmark, 79% of fund managers underperform. More interestingly and significantly, when that figure is multiplied by 5, 10, and 20 years, it rises to 90, 97, and 99%. That makes a persuasive argument for index investment, as well as how unusual individuals like Peter Lynch genuinely are.
The majority of those raging against passive investment are actually active managers. When first starting out, it is prudent to seek out a fiduciary CFP. I went with James Fletcher Brennan, and I've had nothing but positive encounters with him. In 8 months, I went from $25,000 to $100,000. That is outperforming the index and the S&P 500, in my opinion.
I wasn't financial free until my 40’s and I’m still in my 40’s, bought my third house already, earn on a monthly through passive income, and got 4 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! Investing in the financial market is a grand choice I made. Great video! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Austin! In a previous video you said you save 60% of your income. How much of that 60% goes into index funds investing? Thank you for your amazing videos!!! 🙏
I recently got into the UA-cam financial niche, and I’ve taken a deep dive into investing. Particularly, index funds as it interests me. I have tried multiple methods to build my portfolio in the past. So far I’m making progress. Back to the video, wonderful job there.
@@BaptisizmAs I said, I was a novice and I got to know an astute fund manager, Herman W Jonas, who is guiding me through the process. I put in $30k as capital spread across stocks, index funds, etfs, and fx with his guidance and I’ve made a return of $103k within the trading span. I'm slowly but perfectly building my portfolio by putting money into the market at a consistent pace.
That idea is applicable in all aspects of life. With experienced hands, you generally, get things done more efficiently. Smart people know this already.

Great presentation! You are doing such a great service with your channel. Thank you for all your hard work.
Investing in the stock market has HISTORICALLY provided higher returns than other forms of investment. According to Morningstar, the average annual return for the S&P 500 index, which measures the performance of 500 large-cap stocks, was approximately 10% from 1926 to 2020.
Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are alot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.
The best course of action if you lack market knowledge is to ask a consultant or investing coach for guidance or assistance. Speaking with a consultant helped me stay afloat in the market and grow my portfolio to about 65% since January, even though I know it sounds obvious or generic. I believe that is the most effective way to enter the business at the moment.
please who is the consultant that assist you with your investment and if you don't mind, how do I get in touch with them?
My advisor is ‘’Catherine Morrison Evans’’ she’s highly qualified and experienced in the financial market. She has extensive knowledge of portfolio diversity and is considered an expert in the field. I recommend researching her credentials further. She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market
Thank you for this tip. it was easy to find your coach. Did my due diligence on her before scheduling a phone call with her. She seems proficient considering her résumé.
I am currently invested in S&P500 Index Fund.
Discovered you three days ago, Austin. I'm trying to catch up with all your videos (got a jam-packed watch later). Keep producing and keep sharing the content. Happy new year!
Awesome! Hope you enjoy my videos!
I had no idea how destitute most people were!
I've only met with three financial planners and two stockbrokers to discuss investment planning, and they all tell you the same thing.
@@nataliehinnes5221 I've read about James Fletcher Brennan. He's a fascinating individual to research online.
@@victoriaaldrin please i have a question why do i keep either losing my money or not making any money at all?
I wasn't financial free until my 40’s and I’m still in my 40’s, bought my third house already, earn on a monthly through passive income, and got 4 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! Investing in the financial market is a grand choice I made. Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Which market did you invest in first?
I am in my 40s looking for different avenues to invest I found my self a good broker referred by big sharks in stock market, she grew my savings from quarter a million to a million dollars in the first months of the year, if you are looking to diversify do it now you are never too old.
Hey Aarushi, I'm about your age too, and I need to double my wealth, 450k at the moment, share this woman with me please, if that's possible.
Annette Michelle Walters. look her up on web search
@@aarushisanah5811 Alright there she is, I love her profile and credentials. I will reach out immediately, thank you.
Annette is the right person to run to if you're talking about stock investment, presently I have 7m$ in my portfolio and she is responsible for it, I started off with 500k, working with the right person or team is the best advice for anyone looking to make progress efficiently.
@@harlibassham8187 Annette is going far, I'm happy to see this recommendation on her, I remember when she started her career, anyone could tell she had the spark, true genius.

Great video! Thank you so much, you just helped me start my 2023 right!❤
I did it, I bought index funds and Tesla stock . Love your videos, thank you Austin
Thank you Austin for explaining it so clearly I now feel that I can confidently start to invest in index funds…. Before this video I did not know how. Thank you again😊
Hi Agustín. How about when you want to take your money out, what's the process?
Thanks Austin - your videos and some others from a few noteworthy channels are really the highlight of my UA-cam feed.
Very nice, Austin. I was one of the ones that ask you to do this and you did it. And really quickly. Thanks. You did a good job too. That was packed with info and your personal thoughts. I see you're not a great fan of Cripto. Hope you have a great new year.
Well when you're making 2 videos a week, you need ideas! And once you have one you just roll with it, haha!
Ok

Thanks man, I understand all these concepts well. However I am starting to teach two of my friends who were never taught or learned these financial concepts and this video really helps explain how to get started.
Muchas gracias chico. It was very helpful, more videos like this one would be greatly appreciate it.
Wow you really broke that down! Well done. That’s a talent. This is exactly how I needed this explained to me. Thanks a lot!
Awesome video! You made it so simple and easy to understand. I'm going to open a brokerage account outside of my IRA. Like the idea of being able to buy with small amounts of $
Thanks, Austin. I referred a friend to this video to learn about Index Funds. I'm also a Schwab client. Its customer service is stellar.
Great video. And good info. I started investing last year, and never looked back. Index, Dividend, Real Estate, whatever: *Everyone* should look into investment… Your future self will thank you 😊
I want to thank you so much for this explanation. I've been a beginner trying to learn the best way to start and this is by far the most clearest and concise way of understanding without all the roundabout jargon... Thank you so much!
Got yourself a new subscriber bro...this video was detailed and on point thanks 💯
Hi Austin! In a previous video you said you save 60% of your income. How much of that 60% goes into index funds investing? Thank you for your amazing videos!!! 🙏
After I built the emergency fund, it was all 60%...unless I spent more money a specific month.
This is a great year to start, the markets are way down so they offer a ton of opportunities.
I recently got into the UA-cam financial niche, and I’ve taken a deep dive into investing. Particularly, index funds as it interests me. I have tried multiple methods to build my portfolio in the past. So far I’m making progress. Back to the video, wonderful job there.
I do speculations more, and I’ll say I’m pretty green. A little pointer here, and there on the right steps to take towards investing from you will do.
@Archie CaileanWould you be kind enough to drop a lead to him? Thank you in advance.
I appreciate your response. I left him a message. I’m excited to start my investing journey!
First time I’ve come across your content. So helpful and well explained. Thank you from a beginner investor from the UK 😊 🇬🇧
This is the best explanation I’ve heard. Thank you!
Thanks!
Very informative, thank you.
Wow! This is a great video for beginners. Thank you so much!
Isn't it a $3000 minimum for index funds via Vanguard?
I love how you simplified this video so everyone can understand the market jargons respect 👑🙏🏾
Wow..I’m so glad I found your channel, had some money parked and needed a 💯 understanding of the process! Thanks so much.
Omg This has been the best video I have seen explaining investing thoroughly. You broke it down to where I understood it in a way I never had.. Gracias!!!
My goodness! I can’t thank you enough for all this information. Now I feel like I know enough to start investing! Thank you so much.
Awesome! Good luck!
I have a question...If I want to add money into my account.. Is there a specific time I have to wait after my initial investment? Is there a fee?
Would love it if you can walk us through of how to buy an index fund under Vanguard if you could would be greatly appreciated 😊
The success behind my profit earning investment is not solely on my skills but by the help of an expert\licensed trader, who manages my accounts for many years, thanks goes to my Mrs Natalie Louis. She truly saved me from embarrassment this week at my lowest. I was able to risk trading with her platform but it eventually turn to be successful.
An excellent primer…… good work!
so when getting an index fun do you have to pay the listed price or any price you just want to pay?
good vid, still dislike because of the amount of fake comments
