This is a great addition to any department'. It can hold ANY soft armor from Survival Armor' and can also accommodate 8x10 5x8 4x6 hard armor plates. This vest comes in MOLLE as well as a sewn on pocket option. The 6" top pockets and 5" bottom pockets. Can be utilized for magazines, notebooks, flashlights, etc.. IT'S ALL ABOUT SURVIVAL.
I’ll be honest here. This looks a lot better than the first iteration of this carrier. The version I got was meant to be a substitute to the Safariland Oregon City carrier. However it was horrible in comparison, and at that time the safariland was the better option. I sold the carrier to a coworker and just concealed my survival armor vest. (The concealed carrier of which I have few complaints). I’m curious to see how this one compares to the last version.
Is the "hidden zipper pocket" on both sides? I am really liking this design. I wanted to get the Oregon City carrier from Safariland but my local uniform shop carries this one instead. I think the Survival Armor Raid has all the features I wanted in the Oregon city, plus a few that one doesn't have. There's only one picture on the website. It would be nice to see more. Also, video reviews i think work better with tan vests, just because black makes it hard to see details.
First off, why are you sitting down doing this review? It’s better if you stand up so we can get a better view of entire vest or at least put it on and show all the features.
