Congrats on the replay and well played sir.
Great stuff, well played :)

At the beginning, I kind of sympathized with the Baltimore in this replay.
...then he kept complaining. And continued to complain. He didn't really stop.
(For the record, the Baltimore is probably one of the best tier VIII cruisers in the game because of 27mm plating and a stealth radar, which no other USN cruiser gets)
Bet he's a real treat for his poor Mrs 😂
Thing is the Balti's actually a really nice ship to play yes being in a tier X with carriers will be a bit shit but you still have a great radar to help your team out with, great guns, reasonable agility etc....
Can confirm, just need to get the stealth down and the Baltimore will be amazing.
OMG 2 painful memories for me in that battle , I started play wows February 2018 I was total noob so I started with US DD branch , and I played for fun = I played as Paolo Emilio captain do , rush enemy ship dont shoot guns just torp enemy and that worked fine Clemson I got 7 kills that way in random battle , I had that record for a year until I breake it with one great Musashi battle , but Nicolas was awesome for that , but every tier got harder , and when I have reach Benson that tactic was just impossible to do , so when I saw Benson , I had flashbacks , I had 39% wr on her , but now I am at 46% , little by little I erase that memory ...
... and Cleveland I have unlocked her , when she was T6 , then I have taken 3 months breake and she was T8 , I thought AWESOME ... I was not prepared to play her in T10 mm , first few battles was life lesson for me , I was 34 in 2018 , but I admit I was very close to crying , I got in little hurt bitch mode ... but as a real men I did not bitch in chat (I did not knew that is possible) , as real men I have suffered in silence , I remember that week I grinded I have baked something sweet everday , and I went up 4 kg ... I remember that as terrible experience but just now I checked my Cleveland player stats and I have 206 battles and 51.96% wr .
So yeah I understand anybody that feel hurt , but spamming chat is just shitty .
I honestly didn't have much sympathy, outside of one of the T8's with a heal, Baltimore is probably the 2nd best cruiser to be bottom tier in after the Cleveland and I've farmed monster games on distracted T9's/T10's.
I've also had matches where they all focus me or I zig when I shoulda zagged like that red NC and I die in about the same time he did, but such is the game and you don't even need a different ship to play anymore.
To be fair to the carrier, I'd bet that he had already started moving forward because it looked like Extremz was coming left around the Island and then Extremz turned right instead. Carriers are not exactly known to be able to stop on a dime and go into reverse and that's probably why Extremz caught him in full reverse when he came around the island.
I agree, I bet he did that last manuver on purpose to through the carrier off guard
yeah but if the carrier had any sense they would have seen the BB coming from the cap a long time ago and GTFO of there LONG before the BB got to the island
@@QueueWithACapitalQ And go where? They had a scout plane over the Carrier soon after the Yamato died and then Extremz would have just shot him to pieces in the open sea from the middle of the map. The island was the carriers only cover. It was the only place he could stay without getting wrecked by the 2 enemy battleships.
yeah, i came down to the comments to say just that. nothing else to add, that carrier did all he could at that point.
It was days like these that i used to wish i could close the chat :) not played for about 4 years

Y'know, the guys who whinge about their tier VIII ship being in a tier X match never seem to have a problem with the matches where they go up against tier VI ships...
Course not. Because they are either men-children, or just children 😂
TBF, the power jump between T8-10 for cruisers is the most extreme in the game because of heal vs no heal and slot 6.
Pensacola vs Baltimore is a much fairer fight than Balti vs Des Memes.
Yup, uptiers are unfair and should never happen. Downtiers are always fair because just hug islands and set fires bro
Try tier VIII against Gold Spammers tier X in world of tanks
@@alphax4785 of course it is, but at the same time if you play (relatively) smart, you can rake in some hilarious xp and money in your T8 - you just have to play smart. And set fires. All the fires. So much fires. Fire.
It always makes me laugh when you see players complaining and calling objectively strong ships like the Balti "weak". There are strong ships I struggle in, but I realise that's because I either don't play them enough to know how to get the best from, or just don't fit my play style. It's ok to not like strong ships, just don't blame it on the ship. And when you're double up-tiered, you can't play as if you're top tier, which applies to any surface ship. Some of the most enjoyable games I've had is when I'm double up-tiered but manage to have a big influence on helping my team win.
I never understand players like that. If you're that tilted you see the team list, immediately throw a hissy fit and throw your ship away as quick as possible, then hang around it chat winging, then you can't be having fun. Here's a Top Gear Top Tip: Games are supposed to be *FUN*. If you're not having fun, take a break.
Yeah... I've been playing WoWS for three years, back when I was new, I always complain thinking that I always lose because my ship is not good enough (I even attempted to pay my way to the Hizen back then, thinking it is a cool and better ship, But I never did it anyways.)
Now, I am having fun in my Yoshino doing 6-digit damage streaks (don't care if it's a win or loss) and are now grinding towards the Petropavlosk and C.Colombo.
Plus, being on ASIA server prompted me to change my tactics now that subs are in the game (and CVs becoming more prevalent). And no matter how toxic the game has become, I'm still having fun somehow.
No matter how toxic, how P2W a game is, you can find ways to have fun, even if you feel the game is against you.
I've learned way more watching Jingles replay commentaries than I did playing the game on its own :P
Right there with you on some of my most enjoyable games were ones where I was double tiered up. Seem to recall a could a New Orleans game back when it was the T8 and Baltimore was the T9 that took place around some islands on a T10 map and I racked up an impressive 7 kills on the congo line of people that sailed around the island I made my waifu without a plan or the health to deal with 2-5 citadel salvos from US SHAP into their broadsides at less than 5 km. Also recall a Cleaveland game after its T8 upgrade that was a T10 (admittedly on 2 per team) that I got 7 kills in as well thanks to some once in a lifetime fluke where I engaged the someone else's problem cloak. Still no idea why the entire enemy team seemingly always had someone else to shoot at when there was a near enough full health light cruiser just raining shells on them right there in the back but very much in the open as our team was pushing.
@@blackhorse-wm6oc target fixation. A lot of the time the big boys will be shooting at other big boys, and most cruiser drivers are just thinking of getting some tasty HE hits on the big boys.
"I didn't even know the Azuma had secondaries!"
One of my proudest accomplishments back when I still played this game was getting a Close Quarters Expert in my Kiev. 😄
To be honest, the Ohio did a smart maneuvre at the end, pretty much staying on course to go left around the island and deciding fairly late to go right.
And that was too late for the CV to react.
Your point, Jingles, would have made sense had the Ohio not maneuvred.
Cv had plenty of time to reverse, ge was stationairy
that was my plan lol
@@timmyingelbrecht6977no he was not stationary. If you look at the smoke on that CV you see that he is reversing.
Eh, jingles moments, either failed to notice the Ohio changed directions wisely, or noticed but didn't think about it. As you wrote, that was a very smart move, fooling the carrier into having to either turn around (but not enough time), or reverse (which only delayed the inevitable b1tchslapp).
@@timmyingelbrecht6977 no he was definitely reversing
Benson must be the typical AFK case, you hit full throttle, go to the loo and when you come back, surprise, your ship has sunk. The problem must be somewhere between the chair and the keyboard...
PICNIC. =^[.]^=
Ouch... This is why I only set my acceleration at 1/4 speed, if I will go afk to do something quickly. Sometimes I usually survived being afk by colliding on an island.
Do you work in IT? 😂 PEBCAK 😂😂
If the matchmaker gives you lemons, you make gaming lemonade. I got into Tier X matches regularly in my Cleveland. Hugging islands was a habit, along with setting fires and killing destroyers when given the chance. O, and popping the radar when needed, of course. Still, it wasn't great getting wrecked eventually in most of those matches, but being the last ship alive in a few of them was quite funny.
You got that one slightly wrong - you make combustible lemons and burn down their house. It's more fun that way :)
I was in my new tier 7 spanish heavy cruiser in a mostly tier 9 battle...and we had a division of two destroyers...both on the other flank.
My flank was facing a Fletcher, who kept us spotted. Our BBs hid from the enemy fire...so I spent the first half of the match just sailing around baiting people to shoot at me...because I had a heal and I wasn't showing broadsides. Didn't do much damage, but stalled out the enemy push because the enemy team just got baited into trying to shell a somewhat maneuverable cruiser from range.
Eventually, the division of DDs crushed the enemy flank, and our flank went into the fight...and I could get some damage in before dying after an ok fight.
Sometimes, you just gotta do what the team needs done...and that means you won't get the glory or have a lot of fun.
You still gotta do it. It's part of the game.
@@MrGrimsmith Some grenades is called "Lemons" because of shape...
I don't think the enemy Chkalov at the end threw that hard, it's just that extremzz managed to bait him. Extremzz was first going to the left side of the island so the Chkalov naturally started going around. However, extremzz turned at the last moment and was now going to come towards the Chkalov, which he trusted to be going clockwise around the island. Even though the Chkalov knew immediately what extremzz was doing, getting a ship to stop and go the other way doesn't happen that fast. He almost managed it, but not quite.
Yes. CVs are usually quite sluggish and slow.
CV should have made the torpedo attack from the baltimores left side. Hoping she turns left, "into" the torpedos, and so coming clockwisearound the island.
The joy in Jingles voice in the last 30 seconds. Beautiful.
I live in constant fear of appearing in a jingles game of throws video, not as a main character, but as the side character who does the throwing.
Actually extremzz baited the carrier by aiming at one side of the island and the switching and going around the other side. The carrier was clever enough to want to stay on the other side of the island, but he was wrong footed by extremzz which is why he got caught.
That was the plan haha
nah the carrier spotted him almost constantly. he knew where he was going. he just never moved. if he did he may have gotten away, although reversing is a lot slower so who knows.
Actually Jingles, the Kearsarge would be classified as an Aviation Battleship.
Today I had a match where the entirety of my team got angry at one singular aircraft carrier and rushed him at the edge of the map and left my little tier 4 destroyer to handle the rest of the enemy team and flip caps. Needless to say the enemy team mowed down my team within 6 minutes of match time. Noone followed my orders or even acknowledged my spotting. One guy on voice chat just said the carrier needs to die because he's a "Shit player for being a carrier." Absolutely ridiculous. I just felt the need to share.
My commiserations dude... to your teammates on that game, I can only say... THEY'RE I D I O T S!!!
'Followed my orders '? Lol
@@AndrewLale bet he feels important ;)
Jingles saying "Yooouuu Fuckin Idiot!" at the end like that honestly made my day.
The Chkalov didn't throw. It was Extremezz quick right turn just before he got to the island that won it. The Chkalov was probably already moving forward to go around the island and had to slam on the brakes and reverse because Extremezz turned right instead of left. Also note that in spite of what Jingles was saying, the Chkalov was completely deplaned and coming out with only one aircraft per squadron and getting it immediately shot down.
Ofc you will get deplaned when your start and landing zone is inside the AA range of a T10 american BB. But thats not a normal situation.
Yep, going to the right was very important there.
you know you had a good team when the top3 all have more than 2k base xp. Well played, gents.
I think you mean, he had good enough players, in a team of Idiots
The Halland is the one ship - certainly the one destroyer - in the game that can go after CV's with relative impunity Jingles. It actually has AA.
Ssshhh, don't ruin Jingles' narrative/rant about CVs with facts. 😂
Smaland and Ragnar, too. And De 7 Provincen. All have outstanding AA compared to the average ship.
and Chakalov has very slow planes with very little hit points. It's also the only Russian CV that can be deplaned in co-op. That player did not stand a chance against Halland. If you watched on the mini map you could see the squadrons disappear before reaching Halland every time.
T8 CV's get wrecked by T10 AA - it's why I only play CV's in operations, never randoms.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and speculate that the Balti captain is a weekend wallet warrior. He bought the Alaska and thought the entire USN CA line was similar. So he's been grinding (read: buying his way through) the line, angry that the higher tier ships haven't gotten "better." Or! He's a BB main who thought that a WoWs CA is a faster firing, more maneuverable, only-slightly-less-armored BB.
Hes a 45% with less than 2k games. He just doesnt know any better yet, with low chances of improving id say.
Pinky and the Brain for the Halland's carrier kill? Beautiful.
Oh man I thought it was gonna be that Flambass Felix Schultz game when I saw there was a new Game of Throws - this was another great surprise 😄
Great video, thanks!
Watching the Ohio bounce that many shells on the bow in Yamato was infuriating. Aim. For. The. Superstructure.
Well you can, but the better option would be to angle slightly to the left, bait Yamato shots on your belt (if he is dumb enough to not finish Stalingrad) and try to get an angle on the cheek. If the Yamato turns or if you dont want to do that -> Load HE and go for fires on different areas of the enemy ship. The Ohio has a suprisingly high fire chance and HE damage so it works out. Problem with shooting AP at the superstructure of a bow-in Yamato at 5km is that his turrets are gonna tank most of, if not all, of those shells.
"good aa" - stop laughing at the back!
He got me
The most impressive thing is that the Baltimore actually got 3rd least base XP on his team despite trying to throw.
With that amount of IQ, I'm wondering how the Baltimore guy can turn on his PC.
I enjoyed the choice of music for that animal death. It was fitting lol
Me, watch You long, long time. Since the beginning. Me brain cells no more.
Holy smokes the Iowa called him a cheater because he got a double citadel... on a broadside battleship well known for its vulnerable layout. This whole game was the definition of a clusterfuck of window lickers.
With how LONG it takes to go from tier 7 to tier 8,9 and 10, the fact that those players are STILL calling ""HAXS!" fills me with sadness. If a Player don't learn to play at some point between tier 6 and tier 10, I'm sorry but their is NO HELPING YOU!
ALSO Jingles, did you forget that Europeon DDs have some of the BEST AA in the game these days? Even British planes fear them, and those things are flying TANKS!
I think thats the best salvo ive ever seen in WOW, 7 penetrations, 3 citadels, 1 overpen
I recently got the Baltimore. The first battle I had with here was tier X and I was the only T8. The DD layed a smokescreen for me and a tripple Colbert division, after we annihilated the flank I had the right hunch about what happened in the central cap and radared a Shima and we took it down from full in 12 seconds. Then the gane of playing around islands really got going. I ended up with the second most base xp on the team.
I think its a recurring pattern that the first game in a new ship is blessed.
problem for the CHakalov, was he was spotted, if he ran south, he'd have given braodside to the other ships.
I have mixed feelings about these sort of games. It means someone like Zenosi actually gets a win out of it, despite their every effort.
sometimes when I play world of warships,i sometimes have jingles, voice in my head saying stuff like that’s a minotaur or this and that. I sometimes think what would Jingles do at this point of the battle!😂😂😅
I think Jingles made a small goof - no team had two carriers, unless I missed it? One had a carrier and a hybrid but he noted the hybrid also.
"You F*cking Idiot" had me rolling!!! Lmao
11:50 I can understand why the Chkalov did what he did though. Going south would mean exposing a large amount of broadside, while spotted by the Halland the whole time and no prospect of cover for at least 3 minutes of sailing, to the guns of a Montana.
Game of throws, always fun to watch!
Afternoon Mighty Jangles
Flambass's video needs to be here.
8:40 3 Aircraft carriers in the same game? Seems legit
Does the guy not know how scary the Des Moines is? Or the Worcester? American cruisers are lethal if played right.
But note your proviso "if played right". This clown hasn't a clue.
The Benson is a bot dd. Note that it drives straight forward with no turns and no interactions. I've run into these a couple of times over the last few weeks.
The Halland absolutely made the right call by going after B. He could see that his CV was going to get killed, and stalling the second cap bought him time. He needed to kill the Kearsarge to secure the win, but it's hard to kill a BB quickly with Halland torps. Dude was probably cursing his team for throwing away the massive lead they had early on
Jingles. You should have named this "The Kiddie Hour".
I swear, if I was in that Baltimore's situation, I would make the most out of it. I wouldn't cry about it. I may be at the lowest tier, but the Baltimore is no slouch. Played in the right way, she's deadly. Also, the dumb fuckery of some of the battleships in this replay disgrace the sailors of all those that had the honor of being on them. That Iowa had no right to say "Cheaters, cheaters, cheaters!" when you are sailing broadside to 3 enemy battleships. 2 of them armed with the ever reliable 16-inch/50cal MK-7 guns and 1 armed with 18-inch guns. That's a no-brainer. Good glory, the stupidity NEVER ends. Anyways, great video as always, Jingles. Can't wait to see the next episode of a Game of Throws. Now that I think about it (it might sound a little outlandish), this Game of Throws series is like the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly on World of Tanks you used to post. Both series are pretty solid.
Good god, I hope I never give Jingles a reason to say "Yew fuckin' idiot" like that to me. Jesus that was brutal, lol.
Extremzz could certainly tell what direction the carrier was facing. He knows where the CV is, and by where the planes are appearing he can tell the facing. There was no way the CV was avoiding getting shot in that situation.
Kind of you to think I have any brain cells left to lose, Jingles! :D
Yes, back in the salt mines with rear admiral jingles
Marvelous Entertainment!!!
The Benson must have been afk. Straight ahead without turning.
I actually disagree with Jingles in regard of the friendly CV. It is up to debate if he moved too late, he arguably did, but if we ignore that, I think he actually made a good decision. He was pretty much caught in open water with a Halland chasing him which had support from a Montana and Venezia (at the start). So running in a straight line away from them made his profile much more narrow which makes landing significant hits for the Monty and Venezia much more difficult. Also he probably simply bounced most of their shells thanks to the armored flight deck anyway. another benefit from running into the corner was, that he didn't provide a good angle for the Halland to torp him. With running straight away he probably only took one or two per launch from the Halland instead of eating all of em. And finally with driving into the corner he baited the Halland with him. It's a big difference in regard of the factor time, if the Halland has to drive from A10 into C or from D10. If he wasn't up there he would've got C cap much sooner and would've eventually got the chance to sink the Kearsarge (maybe) or attempt to cap B.
So even if I can't judge if the CV made his decision with these arguments in mind or if it was simply dumb luck, I would argue running up there was a good call and helped them, at least, secure this win.
I remember playing my Baltimore in tier tens games and doing extremely well just hide behind islands and rain down HE on anything angling and AP on anything giving you a broadside. If you do those three things you’re practically guaranteed to do well
To be fair Jingles, the Chikalov B was in a pre-carrier-ous position.
What a complete shitshow of a match. Had it all. Just amazing.
Brutal.
Yeah. You said it Jingles,.....Wow....😮
Stargazer played like a potato when he died, Jingles, he started with twice the health of the red Monty when you flipped camera perspectives.
Immediately whining is always a great sign
I was one of these wankers for longer than I want to admit until I acknowledged I'm just shit at the game cause I don't play enough.
@@AlexVardr was similar except in WoT and WoTB and then I just gave up on tryharding and decided to just have fun
My head hurts. You should have a advil sponsorship for game of throes
lmaoing at the Chaklov still attempting to launch one-plane "strikes" against a US battleship despite having been functionally deplaned
to be fair, that soviet has no where to run to and it's very hard to maneuver a CV, it's harder to steer it around island and it has a very big detection radius.
Tbh…. The friendly CV could not easily run south with a Halland and two enemy ships in firing range, if it turned south it would give broadside to both the Halland and the enemy BB.
That would not have ended well, maybe moving south earlier might have work but not at that point.
And if the CV turned south earlier it would on top have been in reach of the enemy cruiser also.
And the next CV tried to do the running thing but people underestimate how fast the Ohio is and how quickly it can turn so it had to reverse suddenly and try to run the other way, keeping in mind it had ben slapped badly already.
Take care Jingles and have a great day.
oh my god what a throw!
the more amazing part of this was he didn't get a kracken.
And on that day, the seas became more salty
That fight against the yamato was kinda painful. He could have aimed at the superstructure..or loaded HE...but he basically just did 0 damage with his main guns pumping AP into the angled bow for like 2 minutes.
heh. he said "good AA" :D
Broken clock right once a day around 7:00- the Ohio is absolutely overpowered. but even an Italian battleship coulda punished that broadside into next week
"You fcking idiot!" 10/10 appropriate use of inappropriate language ;)
I keep expecting to see a game of thrones style intro for this. like scanning over ships or something. just for laughs.
does the Baltimore get a nice pink present for the complaining? Can't imagine a better recipient.
He might make more smurf accounts and continue whining there, such is the nature of massively online games that people can assume different identities and play pretend
Actually, Jingles - the carrier was right to run for the corner because he was actively drawing off the destroyer which might otherwise be engaged with retaking caps and hitting what's left of his team in the flank. Had he retreated south, he would have just lead the destroyer closer to the taken cap and the two bbs - themsevles engaged with pushing at B.
If he had headed south he would've also broadsided the enemy Monty as well. He would've had to basically headed with the BBs since the beginning to live. Atleast he drawed it out as much as he could in that situation.
@@EbonyPhoenix Agree, I also think he knew if he headed south he would have given the enemy Montana a perfect broadside, he could only have gone south if he could go unspotted but the DD made that option impossible.
"When Idiots Collide".
The crying about how bad US CAs are(which they are not) is pretty funny. I have redone both US cruiser lines multiple times and they are my second favorite lines next to the Italian cruisers.
I think the Balti was complaining that if he hugged islands he'd be killed by the CV, likely true but he would be pulling the cv away from other things. Simlarly nothing to stop him manovering. Balti's a great ship. Vanguard's actually not a bad bb if you handle her well but left on your own in a Tier X game you're going to feel miserable. If he doesn't like Baltimore (Which I loved when grinding that line) he's going to hate Buffalo. Impressive levels of stupid in this one... no tsurprised.
I remember when hunting carriers in Hallands was viable... when the AA of the Halland was something that carriers avoided
Just to be fair, Trying to hug islands in a match with a CV won't keep you alive for very long.
Only if the CV goes for you
Hall of Fame candidate. Probably not a winner. But a STRONG nominee!
Never ceases to amaze me that the one who claims immediate suicide to get to the next match is the one who stays till the end.....
At least this isn't League where they then try to claim credit for the win.
Matches like this make me very glad I put this game down a while ago. But it's oh so tempting to reinstall just to style on these clowns....
IT'S JINGLES!!!
one thing that never made sense to me in this game is, the game stats say your shells are flying anywhere between 800 and 1000m/s however, when you shoot your guns to a range of say 10km for example the time to impact is closer to like 5 seconds which would mean the shells are going minimum twice what the game stats say XD though i understand it not being that "slow" since the skill curve to lead shots would increase exponentially but i just find it funny
To be fair to the carrier, he was running away from the Ohio. He just took the turn to wide around the side of the island.
08:28 Ok, something hits me here. Since update 12.6, WoWS has the ability of "Battle on" after your ship has been sunk, why is the Baltimore commander still in the match? It looks like he wants to troll.
I like how the baltimore said he would suicide and then go into a new battle and then just stays in the battle instead constantly complaining
My response at the end: NNNNNOOOOOO!!!! What the f*** is wrong with you????!!!! Dddaaammnnn!!!!
Followed by laughter like nothing else in a LONG, LONG time . . . 😂
Iowa there forgot about BBs paddling broadside ships.
About the Baltimore: having unlocked it just recently, I gotta say, it's a HUGE upgrade from the TVII New Orleans (which is not a bad ship, but the Baltimore is just that much better), so yes the Baltimore capitan was in a TX battle, bit he was in a very good ship, so I don't get why he's complaining. I mean, if he wants to not be outclassed, he should only play TIV and lower to get that protected matchmaking (which is one of the few good things that WG did). Otherwise there is no excuse to complain
I took a Buffalo, popped out from an island 5K from a Yamato an got a citadel hit lost 1/2 of my health to secondaries. However, it was spotted by me a was mopped up by an Iowa. If in a tier 10 battle in an 8 or 9tier I tell every one LEEEROY and rush to the nearest cap circle to radar it.
I'm sure we'll see in the comments section all of the cv mains trying to defend the carrier's poor play at the end but to be honest he should have left that flank long before the Ohio got there. Regardless, fun video to watch.
this one hurt to watch
Premium ship be pay to win had me rolling. Dude so green he doesn’t know what research bureau is yet he’s t9
I swear as these seasons of Game of Throws Continues, everyone in each episode progressively has more shit injected into their brains each time, and by god I can already tell, the sheer stupidity is only going to get worse from here, but more entertaining. Anyways cheers jingles!
