  • This one came in for some work as it had never played properly out of the box. Here's an honest review of the guitar, and answers the question - does a guitar that is massively different in construction from the guitar it aims to copy, sound anything like it's supposed to?

    Really does sound close.

I picked up one of these a couple of weeks ago and I’ve come to dearly love the 24 inch scale. It’s so much easier to play once you adapt to it.

How much to build me a 7 string Red Special copy? Complete with Sustainiac, series/parallel switch etc. Roughly speaking, of course.

You need to show what amp and pedals you’re playing this through if any.

It's Helix - but it's basically a pair of AC30's with chorus between them and a treble booster. Exactly what May would have used late 70's/early 80's.

He probably knew Brian May (Brian Son of May, ie Brian Mason). Brian is definitely a mason like anyone who is anyone.
