- Hey Everyone! Check out this Star Pack run where I used the Real Velociraptor with the Reindeer to generate up to 5 melons in battle on one pet!
This combination is incredibly strong in a pack where melon only exists with the Reindeer (outside of the extremely rare turtle from orca).
See 8:33 for the battle with 5x melons.

New star pack might be my favorite. There are so many different viable archetypes: roll, push, xp, summon, hurt, strawberry, mantis
and a ton of different ways to get there with pivots
Most definitely agree! The variety of pets and the fact that you can combine multiple different synergies makes it a really fun pack.
I feel like that behaviour might have been changed late in the test server cycle. Pretty sure reindeer used to overwrite its own melon if you gave it melon to start with. Same as ox does... or used to?
It has to be something like that because I'm so used to the old ways that I did not expect this to work at all. Took me a long time to adjust to the turtle faint skipping over pets with melon already. Not sure about how Ox works now...
I haven’t touched this game since it first came out but it looks super unique now
It's definitely my new favorite pet! Got a good one with it using the fun strategy with the toy!
Squid cherry panther garlic manticore is infinite melons💀
My brain exploded reading this lol.
I get the lvl 3 panther garlic for a permanent 8 damage reduction but it's no where near melon. More like a permanent 🍋 if anything. Squid + Manticore goes hard too!
@@Metabruskwell ink not only reduces from your ability but it also reduces the amount of damage you deal
I see! I knew I was missing something (hence the brain explosion). So with level 3 manticore it would be 9 more damage reduction which makes a permanent 17 damage reduction (as long as no summons on the opposing team). Definitely close to a permanent melon like you stated originally! Thanks for explaining further
@@Metabrusklvl 3 manticore makes enemy ailment 4 times stronger not 3
