Great video, powerful 2D drafting tool … but, if I could suggest putting a ‘chapter’ for inserting windows and doors. It’s a long and concise video so to rewatch a long video is time consuming for a basic feature. Thanks for such a great product
Hi there! This is Noah. We don't have a shape library specifically for fencing at the moment, however I do have a "product" library I can import over into your account if you are subscribed at takeoff and estimate or teams. If you'd be interested in using that reach out to me at noah@arcsite.co If you can think of a resource for general fencing shapes I'd be happy to take a look at those and pushing them into ArcSite if possible. As far as general tips go I would recommend sticking with line/arc mode to start with and using the manual input for getting your dimensions exactly right. If you are drawing on-site, be sure and use location based photos as much as possible for reference later.
When you create a drawing you can select a unit and measurement type to draw in. If you already have a drawing in progress, you can adjust that by going to the "settings" menu by selecting the gear icon in the top right of the digital canvas. After you have the right unit and measurement type selected, you draw distances in using the distance measure tool. If you want to show the dimension of something that has already been drawn, you select it and then use the "show dimension" tool on the sub tool bar on the left side of your screen.

Amazing,
Is there a way to make the furniture in scale without doing it all manually ??
I am using your software for a fence company, is there any tips, or shapes that would be good for me to use?

Is there a way to change graph size? I have to zoom in to 8’ wall and now I can’t see the grid
You can change grid size from settings. You can also zoom in and out by placing two fingers on the screen and pinching or spreading them.
On App upgrade it says the Leica Laser Measure for upgraded version. Is this compatible with the Bosch GLM400C Blaze?
Bosch unfortunately has a closed API. so we cannot integrate with their products.
Is this software free? I am just a home owner and not for commercial use..
ArcSite is not a free app, we do offer a 2-week free trial but plans vary per month (based on features) as it is a professional grade software.
How do I put the measurements in cm when drawing the dimensions
