That’s awesome that you guys get to spend time with each other. You and John out searching the knives sounds like really fun. That western is awesome. I love the swell. In the center of the hand grip. What a score every single one of those beautiful pieces. God bless you and your family. Hope the dogs are doing well.
Jerry, that was a great day for both of us!! I really enjoyed and appreciated you driving over and doing some hunting with me!! Thank you for the great trade!! I’ll treasure that piece!! I hope we can do this again brother!! Great video! Man you did great at Lees stand!! Wow!!
@@J.O.VenturesOutdoors thanks very much!! It’s always a blast when we can meet up, not just for the blades but the fellowship is what I enjoy mostly. We will do it again for sure!!
Man you picked up some awesome deals! So awesome. I just picked up a Mustang Hunter from 1973, they quit putting the lanyard hole on that pattern in 74. The Schrade Walden was dropped in 72. Unless they kept the lanyard hole on the pioneer I’d say 1973 but don’t hold me to it. Again awesome finds!
Ol’ BigJ always finding them deals and rarities!!! What a great haul! I dream of the day going to a flea market with ol’ BigJ! Soon enough soon enough!!
Thanks, i honestly haven't purchased a new knife from the web in quite a while. I believe the last one was the CS natural bone 75, just no fun in that, i love hunting them down like this!!
Thanks very much!! We definitely made a straight up deal on that one and glad i could help make a deal for a knife he had been looking at for a long time!!
Wow! Great haul. Now I know money changed hands, but you flat out stole em'😂😂😂 I never find deals like that. I usually end up paying at least $40 for one knife at the minimum. Congratulations they are all very nice
Hey Jerry, buck made that change in their stamp in 67 and ran it thru 73. You had yourself a great weekend at finding some great knives. I only wish that I could find knives at those prices that you find them for. I'm in Ct and everyone wants your first born for them. I've been trying to find a older Schrade 8ot for a while with the cs blades in that shape. Thanks and later
Great knives Jerry…….. you picked up some nice pieces…….. and there clean too!!!!! I’m going to start calling you Jerry deals that’s your new nickname…….. stay well brother have a great weekend and be careful out there!!!!! 😊
Fluted steel bolsters are aesthetically more pleasing to the eye. I have a circa1900 Joseph Rodgers lock-back spear point single blade with jigged antler scales which is over 8 inches when opened. Wonderful snap when opened and closed - solid thump to die for when the blade is returned into the knife. Five steel pins holding the scales together not including the pin that the blade pivots on. Steel liners. Stamped factory name on blade and address and Maltese cross and asterisk. A beautiful older knife which will be passed onto my son.
Allo Jerry the buck 301 3 pins it's made in 1967 or 68 by Schrade the 303 with one pins it's between 1969 and 1971 Schrade made for Buck for 6 years.1966 was the first one with Groove in the Boldsters.the 3 pins the firts 3years are very rare.the 1967 have no 303 numbers.Good knife Hunting👍👍
