I have the Buddistick. I've worked coast to coast with this antenna. I bought it second hand. Well put together with a well made carry bag.

My concern is quality the components the quality and how long this antenna will last me being taken care of and I would want it all in stainless steel or Chrome whatever you use I don't want that black paint that stuff chips and Fades off I want to know the quality durability

I'm a few weeks into using the Buddipole system with a Mastwerks tripod and mast system (Which is a brand new company from Chris at Buddipole) and I'm very impressed with the quality. I've deployed it during field day, two National Parks and a local city park and it hasn't shown any signs of wear. I will be posting videos on all these outings very soon. Unfortunately I can't speak about long term durability yet.

My pops has had his for over 8 years works just as good as the day he got. Made me finally make the decision to buy one this year. Wit proper care it will last for ever, but the weak point is the coils with the clips one wrong bump in the bag and clips are still installed kills the coil or if you over tighten the clips from what i've read. I have a sirio, a diamond x300, & gp3 antennas and a few balun 14g dipole and just for the little time i've had it, the bud-dipole seems to on par if not better.

if you want to be on 75/80 it sounds like this isn’t the product for you. That’s what i gather.

Buddipole does sell a larger coil to get it down that low. But, it does seem most people using it are 40m and above.

Ham Radio TV hitch thanks. Any idea how effective it is? Not much on youtube about that 80m upgrade.
