Back in the day, I purchased an Omega VRT and since I got rid of it, never had an inkling to purchase a vertical single auger since. It takes a few more minutes, but my Solostar4 works very satisfactorily on everything I push through it. Thanks, John.

Handy pitcher tip: The bottom of the spouts are all slightly messed up on those cheap glass pitchers, which causes problems pouring when more than about half full. The Pyrex pitchers look similar and are a little more expensive, but can pour accurately even when almost full.
I can smell the juice. Gonna juice some watermelon right now

I dunno John... The kuvings appears at first glance to handle the wide mouth juicer approach better....even if Omega better backs it's products...the comparison between the two will be interesting.

This one is awesome. Love the Kuvings c9500 juicer. This seems exactly the same. The smoothie and clean screen are a must to have more fun with this.
And YES, the safety thingy in the middle of the place where you put the produce in is a pain in the butt. If not for 10 years of warranty I would just cut that thing out.
I forgot to claim the warranty on my vsj. bot stripped out about a month ago so the exit shoot is about 6 inches of where it should be lol. still works though so guess will hold up this way for a while. :):)

I am looking to buy a slow masticating juicer. Mostly I am looking to juice leafy greens with some base veggies like cucumber or celery,pineapple may be. What would be my best picks/brands/models, please give me a few the highest yield juicers. Looking to juice every other day, couple times a week and store for a couple days.

Even the B6000 have the same issue . Pulps stuck at that spot you're talking about.

I appreciate your reviews of all these machines .. as a subscriber... I've watched most of your videos and now know all these vertical machines ..JAM... some worse than others.. and this one ..I can't believe how much you're having to struggle with getting the machine to except the food even after trying to Tamp it....
.. my 2 questions to you are out of all of them which one jams the least ?
1..the slow star
2..the kuvings 7000
or ..3..omega VJ......from your experience off camera ? ....
and second question do you think ... running these Foods through my Vitamix first and then pouring it into one of these machines to achieve juice ..would reduce this issue and the time spent dicing everything u.p?
I know that sounds crazy but that's the only solution I can come up with besides sitting there cutting in everything into tiny pieces.. . you're not the only one having these problems. 50% of the customer reviews on the internet complain of jamming.. for each model when I Google reviews.
... So I know it's something that just has to be tolerated..

Blending and then juicing may work in some of the machines. But they you will be losing some of the nutrients in the food by blending first. I do not recommend it.
Some of the machines need some "crunch" to actually work. If anything, use a food processor with a slicing blade for better results. If you pour liquids in some vertical juicers, it wont actually "feed" in.
So this is a rebranded Kuvings? Besides the switch, its a 100% clone :D

I thought the same thing as soon as I saw that green basket brush. And the blank "screen" -- Omega does not do blanks for their vertical juicers.

1) its $600!
2) it looks like it is made by Hurom for Smeg. So it would have similar performance. So Why get it when you can get the Omega VSJ843 for $200 less and get the same performance? Unless you NEED to have the "retro" look.

Yes, provided you put them in ONE at a time, and wait to hear the pit crack before putting the next one in.

i dont really think 10 years of warranty is a deal breaker. After 10 years you probably wouldnt want to use the same juicer because it will be out dated .
Looks like it sucks. Slightly higher rpm, gets jammed on watermelons which should be easy, constantly backing up, gets pulp trapped, etc.
