People seem to only hate it and not look at it because of the accusations. But hey, public "justice" won't change, it hasn't changed for the last 3000 years, at least. But I think you can relate to it, no matter how you despise the artist. The music feels like you're floating, it just sounds so nice and like the problems go away, so then he tells you the message he wants to send in peace, not hating or getting angry, and only telling you what he wants to say

In the version of the album I had, the last track was unfortunately missing. I'm a huge fan of Julia Holter, so I'm glad I heard her reprise at the end of this release. Matt Mondanile (the single artist behind the Ducktails project, for those who don't know) is a great artist, no doubt about it, but I think his genius can better be experienced in a previous album called "The Flower Lane", which is by far superior to this one, and I believe to anything he ever produced - and that's potentially including all his work with Real Estate.
18:32 Every time I hear this line it bugs the hell out of my that the lyrics don't rhyme (anything / knee) - should have used "..not even your bad skin" AGH! Eternally tortured. Please re-record the whole thing.
