I was there in the Aldershot end. It was almost a mini Hillsborough. Large numbers of Aldershot fans were queuing outside at KO and were desperate to get in. Then suddenly the exit gate buckled and the padlock broke. Quite a few fans burst in and there was a surge. You could feel a sudden panic and fear; it was very scary and memories of Hillsborough came flooding back at that moment. My mate and I were at the front and we jumped onto the pitch along with many other people; the game had already kicked off. The game was stopped and thankfully, the situation ended quite quickly, but I recall seeing women and children in tears. I'm not sure if all the Aldershot fans got in but the game resumed a few minutes later and there were no more incidents.
wow what an embaressment it was that day for the 2nd string league outfit. they Could only put 2 past a non league team... it was hard to tell at one point which team was non league.. and to think the pro' team couldnt organise a game and ensure safety of supporters- unlike the many non league teams we visited week in week... what a pathetic club
I heard there were crowd problems at this match... Heard it was a right shit show from Exeter FC! Duckenfield would have been proud

xeter fc still yet to stand in the dock for what they dished up that day.. we can only wait.. Guilty as charged ma Lord!!
Horrible day out as a result of a pathetic excuse for a football league cub thinking we wouldn't bring as many as we told them we would.
