- A monster smoke plume invaded Colorado yesterday and upgraded Denver as the city with the worst air quality of any city on Earth for the day! The smoke plume made for apocalyptic sunsets across the central US, but outdoor activities were recommended to be limited due to the toxic nature of the smoky air. Team Dominator intercepted the monster smoke plume with an all hands on deck approach - Dominator Fore, Dominator Drone, and Dominator phone.
To be honest it's nice to see someone covering the smoke situation.. no one else has gotten out and done this Reed .. wow is all I can say ... Thank you Reed stay safe out there
it almost seems as though the best times are behind us
i recall Denver being so amazing and now its polluted and filled w crime
so sad
the america we knew is no more
Yep. Left CO in '85, smog was bad and crime was beginning to spill out. But this - wow. Guess this is a forewarning. Volcanic ash, etc has traveled around the world affecting crops and animals so why not forest fire smoke.
You couldn’t pay me to drive through Denver, it is really sad, plus the all the idiots camping and hiking now, paying to hike and the reservations. See ya Colorado was nice knowing ya
I lived there from 1992 to 2002 was great! Yes it seems it's worse but it's getting that way everywhere. Hang in there all we can do and God bless!
Reed, you should have come to northern California for the worst air quality. The River fire near Colfax is fouling air into the 300-500 range, and even off the chart. It was recently 599 in Foresthill CA. People here would love to see the air quality of Denver.
Should have been in Oregon last year when the air quality was over 650 from the fires
Yall.were over 650 PM? Wooowwwww slc was just 225 worst in the world I didnt know it could be 650
@@wakeup1783 when I took the pic it was over 500. If I remember the actual high number 653. The officials said it was so bad, they had no idea what the longterm effects would be on human, plants and animals. I couldn't share the pic here, wouldn't let me. It was of the air care monitor. This was the Salem, Or area.
We had it very bad in the Blue Mountains Australia, we couldn’t go outside. We had a firestorm develop and pushed all the smoke from our fire into Sydney city. Crazy stuff.
This smoke is no joke. I’m west Grand Junction) of where Reed was (Golden), and the sunrise is an evil red glow.
very nice natural panel beating. looks like copper hammering.
I work for Jeffco at near here. The county will make us work in these conditions. For what? To fix a road? Was a big deal with Covid but unhealthy smoke. Nah you'll be fine.
Had smoke trouble here in Minnesota. A real irritant.
You are a legend Reed! Still at it & crushing!! 🤝💪
I live here in Denver, and having asthma I’m kind of afraid to go outside right now. Wonder how long this will last. Thank you for the report Reed! Do you live in CO? You seem to film here a lot. Poor Dominator. Looks pretty rough.
I’m down in Southern Colorado and the smoke is pretty bad down here as well
There's a huge fire in northern Colorado as well. Writing this from my house in western Fort Collins where the smoke is billowing up in a column from the other side of the ridge.
We have been vacationing in the Denver area for over a week and the smoke has been miserable. Spent one day up in Leadville and you could clearly smell the wood in the smoke. Last two days you could not see the mountains from the west side of Littleton and Highlands Ranch.
Just went on vacation to montana and Wyoming, smoke was so bad could barely even see the mountains unless with in a few miles. Finally somewhat cleared up this morning
when did Chuck Norris start shooting the news??
I’m just west of Littleton and I have decided to put off my morning hikes till the air gets better. It’s so nasty. I can almost taste the smoke sometimes
This is the coldest summer for the rest of your life. I live in Denver, moving to Golden next month.
My moon was red last night in cal..it’s crazy
The Dixie Fire has taken a big part of our County of Plumas here in California. It has consumed our friends houses. We can only hope it will stop soon. Prayers.
Prayers to you all
I hope you can answer this question for me, if Dubai, Australia and other countries can cloud seed because of severe heat, fires, drought why in the hell can’t they do that out west?? What’s really going on here?
Because of the dominant wind currents it all blows East and causes flooding in the East and even more extreme drought for CA.

Haven't seen a pink sun since October 2007 with wildfires around San Clemente, & Camp Pendleton, CA. When I asked for a side of ash on my pizza, and got it.
Sun looked like that here last week and moon had red halo around it
I live in Aurora, I'm so tired of breathing this crap in. I smoked for 20 years, quit last year. Was out today for about 6 hours and now my chest hurts.
Don’t forget that the smoke contains lead and Mercury, and any other chemicals/metals that may have accumulated in those forests, or in the old buildings that got burned. Nasty, toxic stuff 😞
Wooooooooooooooooooowwww!!!!!!!!!👈 Sweet music😈🗡💀🔥😎
I actually have a friend relocating here soon, ahh I feel so bad for everybody
By this point, Reed gonna intercept aliens in Area 51
hey i have a question when are you going to get the doms back together or is it still due to this thing going around?
We had it last June in Phoenix, glad it’s further north this time. Still a bad situation though.
I didn't get a notification
that looks crazy
I think CA is the spot with the worst air quality on the planet right now, but Denver would probably be a close second.
I’ll take Reeds word for it lol
Your just simply inaccurate a Google search takes about 1 minute and you'll find california isn't sniffing the top 50
Millennials are just to funny I think california is the worst. It takes 1 minute to google it..... millennials
can you smell the smoke over there ?
I was reading that as bad as it was, it was 13th on the list of bad air quality days this year.
I love this type of weather conditions..
It reminds me of when I lived in the smoky mountains..in North Carolina.
Good lord. WTF?
You should have seen how bad it was in the Capitol Hill area
How come I can see it, but I can't smell it?? Anyone else??
The air in Paradise, CA was 4 times that bad, easily. I could barely see 1/4 mile.
Can't breathe at all here in Denver
I heard Montana had bad smoke too
Something has to break 🇯🇵
Red sun explains it
When I say HI Country I mean you got get above that smoke .
NOT POLLUTION! Less smoke than last year.
I hope you are wearing an N95 respirator outdoors.
Brookfield isn’t as bad. Was out and all we have is the sun without a corona. Also the air is a light orange and slight campfire smell.
Looks like like parts of industrial China. Man that’s horrible.

Colorado Springs is bad.
Smoke = Free Fertilizer. It's essentially potash suspended in the air... pot ash, which refers to plant ashes or wood ash soaked in water in a pot, which was the primary means of manufacturing the product before the Industrial Era. The word "potassium" is derived from "potash". N"(itrogen) P(hospurus)" K(potassium)"
Going to need sulfur to counterbalance the alkalinity. The soil pH is already around 8.5 as it is...
Lol no
@@RealMTBAddict I am sure once the polar ice caps melt there will be plenty lol...
@@PixelatedFaerie no what? I am correct.
Bad omen
