The only problem with the shifter arm is how is fitted on his bar: actually held by two c-clips. It should really be more fixed in order to avoid the minimal play that can stuck it, for example threaded inside and screwed on the arm, with a threaded cylynder that will become the ending part of the arm after the shift lever. I strictly recommend to modify that part, all the rest of the kit is really great and solid. Another mod you should consider is to make the aluminium bigger piece of the front end more hidden from the obstacles, now it have a squared shape that can hardly get caught and damaged off a jump, and a front skidplate that cover the main screws. The shifting servo instead, ca be made using a "spring/spiral" made steel piece that will absorb the most of the spare force but still granting the motion, the arm infact needs very little force to be moved only. I also suggest to reverse upside down the two lil screws thet hold the battery tray on the \_/ shaped plastic holder by its rear end, now in a tricky position after the model been assembled. Will be cool having provided a rubbery hat/cover for the rear cvd ending where it joins to the rear "diff", which usually can grab some dirt very easy acting like a spoon. Also a pinion :) The upper cap of the shocks mount that is mounted after filling with the oil should not have the carved hole, i filled it with metal putty and was like super easy fill the shocks with no air at first attemp. Great gob on the kit again, love this car, love the mechanics, very silent and smooth!!
You sure don't want to stuck your shifter!! 😱😜😅 ..... As for the "Hat" for the CVDs, us Older Farts have always used Party Balloons. The real skinny ones, like the ones that People twist into "Animals". (Provided that Balloon Animals don't OFFEND young people TOO!! 😣😥😢) These Balloons, uninflated, are VERY small in diameter, fit tightly against the Shaft and CVDs, and of course are very flexible! You can get them in Bags of 100 or more. If you mess up on your first, second, TENTH try to get them on properly.... NO Problem!! They usually end up only costing LESS than a Penny each!!! 👍👍😎 .... A quick shot of WD-40 helps them go on easily. Done right, they'll EVEN keep out Water! 😉
