- In this celebratory story of a young woman in Brooklyn, Leila (Layla Mohammadi), strives to find balance and embrace her opposing cultures, while challenging the labels society projects upon her. When her boisterous family reunites in New York City for her father’s heart transplant, Leila keeps her “real” life separate from her family life. Very pathetic. I have not watched the movie not I am planning to do so. I will make sure people in my circle don't watch it but also leave a review. The reason I am writing a review is particularly mocking the belief in Imam Mehdi a.s with various insulted description. The belief is universal among Muslim and the depiction in movie is false and unacceptable. What in the world gives right to humiliate other's beliefs by associating false facts. If this is a way to make it popular on social media sites then its pathetic and deplorable. Shame.
