Mikey is so sensitive and shows real feelings for the art of cinema. After Anora I need to see her working with great Hollywood directors, she is a true star.
I just saw the movie last night and as someone who works in the industry myself, I love how realistic it was. The portrayal of everything from the culture of the industry all the way down to the tiny little intimate details and dialogue that she would exchange with her client was so accurate. It was not overly sensationalized at all very tastefully done as far as that goes. Also hilarious, I was laughing almost the intire time.
Just saw the film! Anora could’ve easily been portrayed as a caricature of the women who do sex work in Brooklyn, but Mikey portrayed the lead with nuance, layers, and still kept her loud, fun, and feisty. Kudos to her ❤
It's weird how many of those younger girls, acting in Once upon a time in Hollywood, have made splashes in the industry since it came out. I'm just waiting for this one because there is a lot of videos I see that are being made about it and all positive.
Watched it solo, and thought it was a brilliant film. Afterwards took my girlfriend to watch it and never in my life had I heard her laugh out loud so hard at the movies. But afterward, she said that she really felt Mikey's character and loved the film.
I felt so many things watching Anora. I can’t say it’s a favorite, I had some issues w the plot and dialogue but she was truly a force and incredible to watch. I’m glad she could showcase her range in a film like this. Can’t wait to see more roles from her and def could see her as a Scream Queen™️
Sean Baker is one of my favorite filmmakers! Definitely deserved the Palm D'or! The Florida Project, Tangerine, Starlet, Red Rocket, now Anora!! Please go watch his films if you havent yet already!!
wow shes great but this interviewer really is just horrible with his line of questioning, no flow in questioning , immediately changes subjects to really stupid questions, and is quick to end answers once she actually gets going
She’s a great interviewee but he’s not playing into her conversation well he just like abruptly asking the next question idk if it’s the editing but it feels very choppy on his end.
I think it’s just a different personality/disposition. Plus, he had prepared questions and only had so much time to get them in, so they seemed abrupt in the last stretch.
Who cares about the interviewer. I'm seeing this comment more and more in every interview. You are all copying off each other. This is more in line with a promotional media junket. Not a network talk show host. Who cares about their personalities. It is supposed to be cut and dry. She had many more to do that day.
Mikey how dare you being a brilliant, passionate person in addition to your incredible physical attractiveness, seemingly kindness, and body confidence? STOP IT
In the last 10 minutes, I was wondering to myself if I would end up giving this film a masterpiece or not, and then the ending happened... It truly hit the spot. I don't think it's a flawless film, but it is as good as it gets... an easy 9/10. Masterful storytelling, directing, and especially acting by all the actors. Easily My Top 3 films of the year! 1) Dune Part Two 2) Anora 3) The Substance Still got to see Nosferatu, which I am also really looking forward to.
Can’t wait to see this movie. Just wanna say, I’m mesmerised by her. Second I see her in Scream I ain’t stopped wondering when she’s gonna be the MAIN GIRL. Like Mia Goth and Anya Taylor , she’s just got. Same with Sophie Thatcher. We got some real talented women upcoming this generation. Really exciting for cinema
Mikaela (Mikey is just silly) is such a great actor. I was so hoping Anora was a real person. Maybe even closer to the actors real personality - but after hearing Makaela in interviews - I just want more of Anora (Ani).
She's a g***d***** genius, is what she is. I've seen Anora twice already and try as I might I haven't managed to catch her acting. Not once. She inhabits that character *completely.*
If there's someone, who we have to thank for discovering Mikey, it's arguably Quentin Tarantino as he saw in her enough talent to cast her in his film Once Upon a time in Hollywood like he casted Margaret Qualley or Sydney Sweeney. About Anora, if I see this, Mikey will likely earn a new fan, which colud be myself or anyone.
Arguable Once Upon a Time In Hollywood presents some of the new generation of young ‘movie stars’, with it having Sydney Sweeney, Austin Butler, Margaret Qualley, Mikey Madison, all in early roles before their big fame hit. According to the guys from The Ringer podcast, this film and Euphoria have some of the major stars of Hollywood and tv of the next few years
She did a great job but has nowhere near experienced anything related to this role. Any woman who’s faced adversity and has been through a thing or two would find the screaming and fighting extremely cathartic. This is such a fantastic performance it’s wild to see how methodical and calculated she is IRL.
Who cares about the interviewer. I'm seeing this comment more and more in every interview. You are all copying off each other. This is more in line with a promotional media junket. Not a network talk show host. Who cares about their personalities.
her voice is so soothing omfg
She would probably do really well with ASMR related videos
Mikey is so sensitive and shows real feelings for the art of cinema. After Anora I need to see her working with great Hollywood directors, she is a true star.
Sean Baker is already one of the greatest directors working now
Raised in LA, leftist - yeah, that exactly what Hollywood needs is more insiders welcomed to the industry.
Why are people so obsessed with Hollywood? There are better directors who are in independent cinema.
That Guy Tarantino does ok, eh?
In my opinion, Sean Baker is one of the most awesome directors you could ever work with!
Glad that Mikey is getting more recognition, definitely very talented and keeps out of the public eye.
unlike Cardi wbk
@@BluePradawhat?
Tarentinos casting choices for the young actors on Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was incredible.
Mikey Madison, Austin Butler, Maya Hawke, Margaret Qualley, Sydney Sweeney, Victoria Pedretti, and Harley Quinn Smith among others. Wow.
@@glenrichardson8266 only 3 of those are good
@@glenrichardson8266 he just chooses attractive cast yeah lol
@Breakfastststst Not just attractive, talented too
@@Breakfastststst Tbh I wouldn't say Mikey fits Hollywood beauty standards. At least not as everyone else

Is it "realistic" for a celebrity mobster to marry a stripper? Not sure about that personally, Jade!
Just saw the film! Anora could’ve easily been portrayed as a caricature of the women who do sex work in Brooklyn, but Mikey portrayed the lead with nuance, layers, and still kept her loud, fun, and feisty. Kudos to her ❤
She has a sweet voice.

I loved her on Better Things as one of Pamela Adlon’s trio of daughters. Miss that show.
Watched it solo, and thought it was a brilliant film. Afterwards took my girlfriend to watch it and never in my life had I heard her laugh out loud so hard at the movies. But afterward, she said that she really felt Mikey's character and loved the film.
She is strikingly beautiful. I love her look. Put her in bigger movies.
I loved this interview with her! I saw Anora with my husband and we loved every second of it. It was so well done and such a brilliant piece of work

My god, she's so pretty
right?!
That smile man, wow. Mile long and lovely.
I want her to win the Oscar. This was a great one.
Adore this actress. Better Things was an excellent show I hope she knows how many people started following her after that wonderful character as well
She was in tv series Better Things from 2016-2022. Amazing show. She was great in that and so glad she is about to be a star
i don’t know why this movie got its release pushed in my country but i really can’t wait to see it
Saw Anora 4 times (and I see every theatrical release). Mikey was amazing.
I knew when she got hit with a can of dog food that she would be a star!!
She is so talented!

Seriously... the most important topic about a movie is that how she did the scream...
i saw the movie. i think i felt in love for Anora for the whole movie. it was a shocking and hearbreaking experience.
fantastic interview!
She’s so inspiring and beautiful. Like I’ve literally never seen anyone that looks like her
She's exquisite. So beautiful and talented. I adored her in Anora. What a performance, she is such a star ⭐
She is such a good actress and so pretty
Mikey Madison is very very professional as an actrice. She did a great job in this film.

This movie is really good and she puts her all into it. The NY accent she nailed.🤣 Her look drawn me in. She would play a good Poison Ivy.
Loved Anora. She was amazing in it!
The new scream queen!
What a lovely woman
My goodness her voice
Oscar winning performance
Sex workers are real ive experienced them and they are also human with problems
When there is good interview like this, it’s makes me wanna watch the film, which is good start
Just seen the movie last night. 10/ 5 stars.
mikey could read bedtime stories
She's a superb young actress. I honestly thought Anora was overrated, but she was terrific.
Im just happy she's not playing a character getting burned to death anymore.
Her stare reminds me of Gogo from kill bill. Very psychotic and I love it. I hope she continue to make horror
I can see that
She's giving me a dakota Johnson vibe
TOM STARES INTO PEOPLES SOULSSS IM GAGGINGGGGGG WHAAAA-

Tom was, almost, flirting. He has Mikey relaxed more than she usually would be. Surprised he spoke so highly of film: thought he's deeper.
What intellects. If you talk in hushed tones and whispers, that's the equivalent of low on the nose eye glasses and Einstein hair.
I love Mikey Madison very much, but what an overrated movie.
