Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Course Leiden 2014

This advanced two day programme for radiologists and residents will focus on nerves, tendons, ligaments and interventions. The first day the upper extremity is addressed, the second day the lower extremity. In the morning, live demonstration of US anatomy and examination techniques will be followed by “Rapid fire talks”. These include case studies with video demonstration on specific pathological findings. The experienced demonstrators will emphasise the important anatomical features and provide participants with useful tips to get the most from US examinations in these challenging areas. This will be followed in the afternoon by small group ‘meet the experts’ practical training courses where participants can refine their own examination skills under expert guidance.
