My late great friend and I have studied with Kim Plainfield R.I.P in Heaven for 10 glorious years!!! I miss the shit out of my favorite all time drummer ,musician,professor and author....frigging incredible drummer then in 1987,and he even got BETTER in his 40s,50s,and was peaking at the time of his sudden and untimely death or Passing On as I rather call it...Mpst underated drummer probably of my life time. 😎😎☺☺🍊🍊
Kim Plainfield R.I.P in Heaven was my favorite teacher and I've studied with a plethora of very famous drummers including Vinnie,Terry Bozzio and Kenwood Dennard to name just a few, all taught me various concepts and all were great to me as teachers and of course their playing but Kim Plainfield took me under his wing and I had a DECADE of lessons with him and I have to say that he was the best teacher I've ever had and I love his playing more than any other drummer out there and he is sorely missed and extremely underated for how effortlessly he played and an incredibly great sight reader to boot!!!!
Alas, Michael Jordan could not play for every team in the NBA. AH - took it so far beyond where anyone had ever gone before. All that said - BC's compositions were generally more listenable than AH's to the less advanced ear.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that Allan was the type to take other people's originals, play them his way and take them out. I've never heard him do this. However, he would have done something like this in his "None Too Soon" stage.

When I heard this album in 1988 it totally changed my world.
B.Connors,just phenomenal musician and guitarist!!
One of my most favorite guitars featured on an album cover ever! This finish is gorgeous and of course Bill's playing is phenomenal!
I'm agreed with you completely!
Amazing lead tone, and by that I mean absolutely freakin' amazing tone.

Formidable!
Thanks MAN !
The guitar is made by Suhr if i am not mistaken;
+Stereo Dusk suhr was founded in 1997. bill played charvel superstrats
+j2me9 Thank you, I mixed up the names. He played a Pensa Guitar. It became Pensa-Suhr at sometime in the past ;
Actually I did make that guitar, it was an early Pensa-Suhr and Bill was my guitar teacher
Oh my god John Suhr i cant believe you commented. Big fan of your work, hope I'll be able to afford one of the babies that you craft
And as far as I know this guitar was made from a single piece of maple.
Bill is playing Alan the way that Alan should have done.
Que baterista é esse?
Muito bom!
