The issue we ran into is the fuel pump inside the test unit doesn’t flow enough volume to feed more than maybe 2 larger injectors. ie 80+ gph Maybe consider upgrading the pump in the future. Spray WD40 or some kind of light lubricant through the injectors prior to storage or there’s a high probability of the injectors locking up.
Be careful as to what kind of test fluid you use in that machine, I had to replace the trough under the graduated cylinders after just a few uses. I bought testing fluid from Doctor Injector, no smell to it. I bought cleaning solution from Injector Therapy for the cleaning tank. You mix10 parts water to 1 part cleaner. You can get the orings , filter baskets, and caps for Doctor Injector. I use a sheet metal screw to pull the baskets out. I spray WD 40 into injectors after cleaning and blow air through them while pulsing them. Store in zip lock bags.
I have seen some bad reviews on this device . Another UA-cam channel who builds Jaguars mostly XJS V12 . He had nothing but trouble with his unit . The other issue was as u pointed out the warranty . Who would is responsible for the warranty . The channel is Camp Chaos Chronicles .
I have a similar unit and have been doing this for a while. My experience has been with the Multec 2 style injectors, if they have sat a long time, and you can't get them to click with 12 volts, they are probably not savable. If they will click at all, they are probably savable. They flex fuel (EV6) style injectors hardly ever stick so bad they they aren't savable. I always test them with a strong battery before I start the cleaning process. The only problem I've ever had with the injector machine was that the pump was weak. I replaced it with a ACDelco EP381, standard GM 96-99 Vortec truck fuel pump.
The injectors do not open with voltage, they need a pulse. FSI opens with a pulse of 65-75 volts and a period of at least 240 microseconds. Then the holding time.
@@246alfa you have zero idea what you are talking about. They absolutely do open with voltage. In most systems the positive is constant and the negative is pulsed. If you put 12V to a automotive injector, the internal coil holds the injector wide open. There is no "65-75 volts".
@@BigMikesGarage Let me explain to you. I have been working with fuel systems for 15 years. Three years only with FSI injection. I can show you developments that do not exist in the world over the phone. Hundreds of services send me injectors and I make them, and do not take photos for UA-cam.
@@BigMikesGarage You won't open direct injection under 12 volt pressure. And sometimes the reaction time is less than 20 milliseconds and the injector won't open completely. ua-cam.com/video/Ln-pdPD5CK8/v-deo.html . Там как раз подгорел ключик в мозгах. Я проверяю каждый день по несколько комплектов., и знаю по топливным все.

Chevron Techron is reported to be the best fuel injection cleaner that is added to the fuel tank. Maybe you can use it in the machine.

These stands are not capable of cleaning injectors and test them poorly.
