Fire intro, but there was a bit of a skip in it too which made me confused for a sec. But, jesus, that's an insanely impressive and sick concept for an intro.
Binge watching keyboard videos because you're too broke to get into the hobby is kind of a mood. (Edit: For anyone interested btw, there is an entire character arc of getting in and out of keyboard building in these replies)
i was just like you but after i bought my first machanical keyboard under 100$ i modded the shit out of it and ended up spending like another 200$ on keycaps, lube, and other stuff that i needed to make it god tier. then i went to mech market and sold it for like $400 now im getting my second keyboard and im gonna use even better things. so if you got like alot of time and about 300 bucks you can honestly make this into a side hustle. i know i am, this the most fun and profitable hobby ive ever done sice there are alot of poeple getting into keyboards rn.
@@Thebigbean114 That's true. I could just take some of the money I got as a graduation present from my relatives, and then invest that into the materials to make a nice keyboard to sell on the after market for profit. That's tempting as hell, actually. hmmm... definitely something to consider. Thanks man, I think I might actually do just that.
I love this keyboard. To the elegant accents and precise machining on this keyboard, not only does it look good, it sounds good. No mistakes were made and the assembly was quick and sweet. You make amazing content and have a great film-style type of video that you're good at. Keep up the good work :D
ok this is the most beautifl thing I have ever seen in my entire life. Alpacas are for me the best linear switches (by far) - I recommend them to anyone who likes linear more than tactile. The keyboard sound so well and the "weird" knob, gives it quite a good look. if you add GMK Keycaps to that, you have a masterpiece.
Hamaji's content is really great it inspired me to start getting into mechanical keyboards, im obviously starting off with sumn light but when budget allows me, I'm definitely referring to this guy for inspiration as to what to get. Legend, thank ya.
Now that's a nice keyboard! By the way if you are wondering if the effort you put in the editing is worth it please know that this video changed my perception on your channel. Great job man, keep it up!
Nice job man! been wondering when another video was coming...hope your feeling better and healing fast! I soldered my Alpacas into my Ducky Mecha Mini yesterday, tuned the stabs and added some foam...also swapped the caps with some EPBT...and damn lol, didnt know a ducky could sound/feel that good!
You know I kinda miss the old Hamaji Neo videos. It looked like you were having a lot of fun back then. I think I noticed it with the absence of the "NUT! NUT!" and "Subscribe to Hamaji Neo" before the recent sound tests. Don't get me wrong, the quality is great but the recent videos, especially with you reviewing boards sent over to you, just feel a tad bit more "transactional" than the ones you produced before. In any case I might be wrong. Great job out there!
That's fair - I'm just very afraid of pissing off the keyboard community haha, trying to be a lil more professional but I'm gonna try and be more bright/experimental in future videos!
After the build, the keyboard's sound makes sense to me. But what I'm worried about, with these mid-high end boards, is the flattening and isolation of the sound. I prefer quieter boards but when Andy Nguyen was talking about the Jelly Epoch he was noting how a lot of switches can sound nearly the same in boards where you're intentionally isolating the sound with foam and dampening pads within a metal case.
Is there a little rattle in the left shift or is it the sound of the switch? Beautiful editing in the beginning, and beautiful build in general. You made me like yellow :D
The intro was stunning, one of the most unique ones I’ve seen for a while. Production quality is getting better with every video ^^
Agreed. I was about to say that aswell!
for sure
but that edit at 0:10, that was shit, his finger hops places and while the idea was good the execution was poor.
@@enomooshiki3634 eh it’s fine
@@enomooshiki3634 I think it looks amazing
a few weeks into the keyboard hobby and i have concluded that i could totally eat those keycaps
you would love the jelly pom keycaps
I would def eat tangies
I only eat my switches with a hint of krytox.
I’m few months in and I did. Commenting from the hospital now.

Man, the guy who made the english subtitles has completely nailed the description of the editingXD
* absolutely dope intro *
That intro was GOATED
Dude that intro, I'm lost for words. Literally out of this world editing and production 🔥
That intro, the scrolling with the keycaps. i want that in my life

its not just a mood, its a lifestyle
@@_voy_ True. Idk, maybe I should just use some of the money my relatives sent me for graduating highschool. Who needs to save up for food in college?
You can build your custom board for under $100.

Hamaji Neo's out here being my uncontested favorite custom keyboard channel
Also those Honey alphas look way too good on this board
How are your intros so good
looks really nice!
the voice is my favorite board and my endgame, its pretty neat to see how others built it
people who say endgame are cringe and this board sucks
ok but that little transition bit in the beginning was so clean
Nah, the execution of the edit was shit, good idea, bad execution.
That's probably the most consistent sound from top to bottom I think I've ever heard on a board! Nice work man!!
