Did you know; Before WW2, Germany purchased their metals from the Soviets and purchased their jet fuel components from the Brits.
The USA, France, Germany, India, UK and others are performing Freedom of Movement operations in the South China Sea in response to China's artificial islands which are being constructed in an attempt to artificially extend their border into international waters. 40%+ of the worlds goods are shipped through the region and China wants to control it.
We are now performing full blown training operations in The Black Sea.
The UN Security Council and the US State Department have recognized and discussed measures regarding the over 3 million people being illegally detained in China for their beliefs.
There are places in China such as Foshan where child prostitution is legal.
China has the largest organ transplant market in the world but no donor program.
Imagine providing funding and resources to the enemy in exchange for some plastic bits.
Facts they have hard times for whatever reason. My ak84s shipped with linear red switches when i selected the chocolate browns for whatever reason and they refused even sending me the switches i ordered and said they couldnt give me store credit because it was a kickstarter. ???
You should do a build with these keycaps where it's like all squishy. Gasket mount, Pc plate, silent switches, o-rings, and these keycaps. It would be really interesting.
You could just buy a $20 roll-up membrane keyboard 💁
Nah, you go plate less if you want maximum flex
s q u i s h
@@michaelargueta7496 I have a traymount board here and it's actually more flexy with a PC plate than plateless.
@@ResilientME interesting my 7V is more flexible plateless than with the pc plate

As someone who only has a laptop with a built in keyboard, my brain is ascending into the 4th dimension.
I've only got 1 hand-me-down Aukey Mechanical keyboard and the built in keyboard inmy laptop, so I'm basically in the same boat as you lol.

I've used silicon keycaps. In a few months, they rip apart. And yes, they're terribly dirty. Legends become unreadable.
Why would you need legends? Most people that are keyboard enthus know the placement of keys 😵

hey how does the keycaps holding up?
@@devzy Threw them away after a year. Legends gone. Dirt collector. Hard to clean. But if you want that "joystick" feeling, some might like it. Definitely not something I'd want to make a whole keyboard out of.

I got into pc building about a year ago and now I'm scared by the realization that there are "building" enthusiasts for just keyboards
worst part is ive been planning on building my own mouse too. people in this community build everything
eventually you realize that if you try hard enough all technology is able to undergo lego-ification

Gasket mounted keycaps?
The foam mod is essential to any build. The sound becomes amazing, but better than that, the keyboard becomes highly flammable and can actually explode if you puncture the batteries. Which for me is a nice plus.
I'm just trying to find a quiet low profile keyboard that doesn't run off batteries. It's like looking for bigfoot riding a unicorn on nessie's back...
Oh I should probably stop stabbing my foam modded keyboards with knives huh?

hi marisa fumo in a random vid
Saw it live, loved your first reaction. As you were saying, the video is pretty different from the live one! Great fun, much browns, wow pillow foam!
Why is Hipyo tech’s voice so satisfying and calming, and also the low jazz is just PERFECT
That “howdy hey” puts a smile on my face
Thanks for hearting my comment !
Loved the editing on this, flowed super smooth
I can't imagine what abominations of a keycap is going to be made in the near future
Glass keycaps? Silicon with no plastic? Candy keycaps lmao, stuffed animal-like keycaps, and jello shot keycaps idk 😂
@@EliteSniperTV There's already a groupbuy for a glass keyboard so anything is possible.
Profile pic buddies :D
Fuzzy keycaps
human flesh keycaps
Hey Hipyo Tech. I have been using these for about a year now, and the key caps are honestly fine! There is a little bit of texture loss, but over all pretty good!
That pillow foam just feels like a large firestarter especially for everyone using wooden desks 😂
that´s what i was thinking, i don´t get the put foam inside keyboards, and worse, keyboards with a battery, that will be in fire in like minutes
reasonable concern but keyboards don't run hot enough to start fires and the foam wouldn't ever complete a circuit
brickhead comment @@ferenkjaffet
Video 1 of me asking for a keyboard inside of a custom case made entirely out of Play-Doh.
>"...but don't think about the switch too much."
Disengages Glarses mode
I would actually like to try this whole setup with the rubber keycaps as an office keyboard. Would probably change the stabs and lube the switches, mainly out of old habits but I actually like the muted sound of this.
Ah yes, nothing I love more than coming home after a long day, sitting at my desk chair and listening to the sweet sweet “meh meh meh” of my keyboard talking to me.
I've never gotten a keyboard before. The description of the keys and their texture is really interesting to me. If I had the money I'd definitely give them a run for a year to give a go at describing the after state. I see this video is from a year ago already though. Has anyone ever gotten back to you about the keys after using them all this time?
Sorry I don't really know ANYTHING about the technical side of mechanical keyboards, but I just enjoy learning about the depth of peoples' hobbies that I've never experienced before :0
subbed to see these choc switches in the future, dont disappoint !!
Wow!!! The keyboard designs are 🧨 and that panda design on the space bar along with the custom colors 🔥🔥🔥👍
This is actually a pretty good deal for persons like me who live in regions that generally dont have access to hot-swapable boards for a decent prize.
On top of that this already come with switches and keycaps so I dont have to worry right now about buying them.
is it bad that i fall asleep during your videos? not out of boredom but more of your soothing voice
lmao I do too. I usually watch his videos before going to sleep for better sleep quality 😂
The sound is AMAZING.
@hipyoTech pro tip for identifying Plates like that. Steel is magnetic, and aluminum is not. so if you put a small magnet on it and it sticks it's steel. if it doesn't its aluminum
I hope they make those silicone keycaps a permanent item for sale. I wanted them, but was not about to pledge to the Kickstarter for the board and all that money just for the free caps lol.
Have you ever tried the silicone keycaps with click bar switches? It works wonders and the sound goes from annoyingly high pitch to pleasantly deep and crisp. I have it in my current RK84 build fitted with Navy Blue and it’s amazing.
i’m not even that big on keyboards but i just binged a little and subscribed bcs your videos are really entertaining and funny but also chill, just the perfect vibe
I actually really REALLY like the foam mod with silicone caps sound :O
congrats on 60k my guy!
Appreciate it!
I wonder what the silicone keycaps would sound like with clicky switches?
That material used for the squishy keycaps is very similar if not the same as the switches on the oven the previous owners of this place left. The rubber used broke down with the oils from frying foods on the stove, and began to become mushy. I imagine the same would happen with the small amount of oil your fingers produce to keep your skin moisturized on the keycaps with how frequently they are used. Oils and certain plastics and rubber really don't mix sometimes and they deteriorate rapidly.
I love that you say they're a previous sponsor and then immediately hold nothing back about their negatives. This is what reviewing should be!
"Sit back, relax, grab some snacks"
Coryxkenshin is that you? It's not Sunday :D
He's back guys
i miss him
Among us keycaps, one of them is made from a brick of cocain
dude the flow great
but i wont subscribe to a keyboard channel, i am that 70%
I backed one of the older Kickstarters for a model with a numpad on the left, because it's such a unique layout. After having it for 5 months or so, I would recommend any similar Epomaker/Skyloong board for people who would like a nicer looking, well priced but not high end board, especially if it has hotswapping. I've found it to be a perfect general starting board for collecting/trying switches and different keycap styles.
I already said it multiple times but you deserve more followers. One of my fave keyboard channels
Why do I feel like Im watching a Rick and Morty review of a new keyboard in this video..
As someone who is happy with his k63 Corsair wired 10-keyless keyboard, I don't know why I am watching you fill these keyboards with foam and kinetic sand - but I dig it!
one question, what is the page you used to do the sound test, I liked the video
honestly those *switches are so attractive that i wanna buy them even though i have no idea what they are
We need a hipyo Deskmat for sure :)
That keyboard looks so good the colour combination is so good
This seems really, really nice
I've been using the rubber keycaps for about 5 months and they ain't bad they collect a TON of dust. But it's pretty good . I cleaned it once and it was a nightmare
Silicone could make for some silent AF switches. I am very interested.
What's the Wpm test that you are useing? And great Video as always
I'm not a keyboard connoisseur (I've got a Corsair K100 (optical)), but the silicone keycaps sounds (to me at least) AMAZING! I'd honestly consider swapping mine for that keyboard with those caps.
Oml imagine watermelon milkshake switches with those keycaps. The aesthetic is too much!
I bet they will sound extremely silent with MX Silent Red switches.
the silicone keycaps sound sooooo good! good vid btw
anywhere I can get more details on those Chocolate browns? Like graphs or links to buy just them? Thanks
Yeeess new vid im going to wait 5 hours now❤️❤️
i love your videos :) appreciation from ireland :D
Also
you’re growing so fast! i swear you were on like 50k two weeks ago
honestly one of the best things in my opinion about clicking the join button is the fact that you get to be featured at the end of the video
I’m not that into keyboards but I just wanna say you make your videos super entertaining! It’s easy to get interested in what you’re talking about
the panda keycaps look so much like varmilo’s panda keycaps haha
I think they are, or at least the space bar is. Different white and Bluetooth symbol printed on the key. Sounds like varmillo lol
Squishy keycaps a blast from the past of this channel 😂
ur so chill
10 Gateron Yellows. Hey Hipyo soon it's time to lube my Gateron Browns with Krytxo 205g0 Krytox 105 and film with Deskey films, any advice on how much lube to apply or just go full kamikaze and see how they feel?
Not too much. You shouldn’t see white anywhere, just a light sheen.
Remember that especially for tactiles, overlubing, particularly on the part of the stem that grants the tactility, will ruin said tactility, or at least reduce it greatly. While on linears you should lube the stem legs and copper leaves contact point fully to remove all friction, that is not adviced on tactiles.
Jokes aside, I really only want my fingers to sink into the keycaps.
I subbed instantly this is good content!
Hipyo’s voice is so calming
I feel like flying to heaven and thanking god that we have Hipyo.

hey hipyo, love your vids! what is a budget option for a 60% mechanical keyboard thats linear?
What budget? Maybe a gk61?
@@AHuman_Person I was thinking of that but people always say yellow switches r the best but they are $$$
@@ducreamious2 I dont think so. they are really good for the budget imo, they feel pretty good lubed, im not very experienced at all because ive only modded 1 keeb with yellows
@@ducreamious2 I heard the Akko CS lineup of switches are really good, i've seen people are saying they are the new budget kings.
You can buy a gk61 with yellows and lube it for ~ $100. I don't know anything about the stock stabs or keycaps though

Hey, is there anything you can reccommend for a razer keyboard? I, not aure what type it is, but im really interested in this kind of stuff.
Could you do a review on the akko cs switches, specifically the matcha greens?
The stock one are pretty good, i use it and kinda love it
Not sure how I feel about foam around a large battery but probably just my lack of knaughlage. And silicone key caps plus Cheeto dust adds a nice texture to the press or having super sticky fingers u might lose some silicone. A fun keyboard I see
it´ll be in fire, that´s for sure
Silent keycap, we need this for the silent keyboard
where can i get that blue desk mat?? (the one in the typing test)
Hey hipyo im trying to find cyan pbt doubleshot keycaps for my 60% keyboard. Do you have a tip that is not expensive but not cheap?

i like thoses ms brown switchs! so cool!
You should take a look at the new revision of the rk61 pro. Hotswap, gateron, aluminum chassis under $100
This just reminds me of the thing they'd place over your keyboard in elementary school so you would learn where your letters are faster.
random key caps being free solve any headache trying to correct orders over free stuff. or needing to do extra tracking of which specific bundle goes where.
You're like LGR for keyboards. Funny and entertaining.
I have a keyboard with north facing led and cherry profile keycaps and i they “bad row” sounds exactly the same, the switches are nk cremes
it sounds so goooood
The red/black/gray color scheme looks nice.
Have you by chance used it long term yet and maybe have an update on how well the keycaps held up?
