for the 121 CH, you can side step left pretty far so that your opponents head is right in front of you, and then you can follow his bread and butter combo with DB2.

As others said for 12(ch)1, SWL into db2 to realign gives a full combo, but in the heat of a match I will generally just do something like db2, d3+4,2, qcf22 into oki

tekken 8 is my first game in the series and I have a question, bryan is a hard character to play or I am a bad player?

Bryan is UBER HARD char to play. Even in T7 it was alot more easier

For the last combo you mention try sidestepping quickly once the counter hit connects, so that you're facing the enemy and theoretically the rest of the combo should be the same as before(?)
