- In todays episode we sit with Dan Rue and Boosted Luckey to discuss their rivalry that has built up over the past year when Dan Rue decided to call out all hellcats. Dan Rue and Boosted Luckey sit face to face while in Dallas for Texas 2k and work out a way to make a race happen. Boosted Luckey had some issues at the track while trying to qualify for the event and addresses the issues he was having at the track. We cover a few different topics that address the Tik Tok Haters, the Hellcat Platform and built GTR's dominating the track. Plus people forget the times but 20-30 years ago you wouldn’t see a 1000hp car just on the street you would have to go to the track. I know where I live now a days if you go out for the fay your likely to see a car that is pushing 1000hp on the street you didn’t see that back in the day. Even 10 years ago hellcats weren’t out like they are now. I’m 23 so I can’t really talk about the past as I wasn’t around but from what I heard for street cars 600 hp was big numbers but now I’m driving a 717hp car and yes my car may beat 80% of cars on the road or whatever but 717 isn’t big numbers these days

1100hp is beyond enough HP it just all depends on who you're racing against! *Normal* ppl will be satisfied with 500-700 to the wheels which is still plenty! All the guys still wrenching on their 350z or Honda Civic don't let these guys deter you from doing what you love and convincing you to chase insane HP numbers! work with what you have, be proud and work to make what you have better/faster! Boosted said it best ( No point in racing the other guy's wallet)

Yeah but 700hp in a gutted out civic hatch is fucking nuts to think gtrs and hellcats make between 600-800 stock but weigh almost 2 ton it's all power to weight

I think people are taking that way to heart. He likely meant it’s slow for him compared to his high boost map.
A 1000hp R35 is also a much easier car to drive than let’s say a 1000hp RX7. I know because I had both and a R35 is damn cheat code.
1100 depending on the platform is a 8 second car. He just wanted to flex he’s faster that’s all

I see this show is guest based but this seems like a solid trio of guys just riffing with each other. Definitely set questions but it was a good flow between them that seemed natural, I would recommend having these guys back on to just chat about the culture. Ive only seen a couple but there are trucks out there that have beat gtrs but they are 4x4 so i agree completely with what u said boosted lucky its very hard find a awd v8 car that can beat the power to weight ratio of a gtr but even then never seen anything but a v12 and v10 beat any gtrs from a roll
