This is nothing but marketing for banggood products.
Its the build quality of lens that looks better, not the image quality. obviously having an additional layer of lenses/glasses would deteriorate the quality and each phone telescope may have different level of quality depending of the quality of lens being used. But these can be handy for those rare moments where zoom is must, like capturing moon/star/eclipse or a distant event. Do not expect them to come good everywhere.
He was talking about the view of the phone with lens...and not image quality
in indonesia..we can use big dslr lens for smartphone....and we can make telephoto lens also for smartphone from fotocopy lens...check video...homemade mirrorless dari ponsel...
