I installed the game upon learning there was an Assaultron in Fishnets in the Battle Pass, and for about a week and a half, I grinded the hell out of it. When I finally unlocked her, I almost immediately dropped the game. Just nice to have her around when I may or may not get into it for real.
76 is probably one and maybe the first fallout game that make you afraid of your own power armor, not because it has any negative when wearing it, it just it a dice roll if you gonna just get in and be on your merry way or you get stuck on the animation until you aft F4 the game.
I've only seen this happen if you try and get in your PA on uneven ground. And if you wait a minute after a delay the game will put you in. No need to alt F4.
lost my set of T-51 after a week of getting the parts, got stuck entering it and game crashed. turns out if its not recalled before you exit the game your Power Armor is fair game for anyone who finds it
@@mrtoad6870 wow had no idea that was possible....my game only crashes once In a blue moon and if it does it almost always occurs at an event where there's a lot going on. Sorry to hear you lost your armor 😞
Honestly, I love the fact that after level 25, you can change your special around. For free as many times as you want. As someone who doesn't know what they want to do. It's nice to know that I'm not stuck with what I picked as I leveled up in the beginning.
Regarding the PowerArmorstand, it is kinda integrated into the mainquestline. At the Time you are in the Area with the molemen, you gonna have the firebreather quest, in that Quest you can gather a load of Black Titanium inside that mine. With that you will have no problem to build the Excavator Power Armor. By finishing that Quest you will get the Powerarmor stand. The Excavator suit is also the best Armor in the early to mid game, because of that 100+ Carry weight and some decent protection. Regarding Reparing, the Scorchqueen drops everytime you kill her like 7 advanced repairkits :D Those will repair Weapons for like 150+% condition. You can also skill the repairskill, on lv3 you will repair for 200% condition. There is also a luck skill, that has a chance to repair your guns if you shoot on enemies with it. If you want to farm certain resources, for example screws, do the Event with Al, all those wenidgo spawns drop like 6-7 screws. So you gonna get like easily 100-200 screws during just that one event.
I play on XBox and I rarely encounter many bugs these days. Definitely nothing like you were dealing with. On console it's been pretty stable for a while now.
I'm surprised you didn't touch factions that much like the settlers, raiders and even union fanatics and responders are pretty well developed, at least more than fallout 4. Factions feel realistic and are more organized and realistic. Each one trying to expand and grow to survive
U get a real Questline for Atlantic City if you find that family in the mountains. With them you travel to the set pieces of Atlantic City and do some interesting quests. (e.g cosplaying as clown to execute on of the Showmen lol) with the big Update in June Appalachia gets a big new Area in the South of Appalachia, with new Enemy Types and with a new Mainquestline involving Vault 63-. And new Bossfights with 3 colossal Robots at once. There are also more companions I think, I saw a named supermutant in one of the camps, also the Radio Guy or that retired writer are other companions you can add.
Accurate on that exploration. I been playing for a month & I spent the first 8 days just running around the map looting junk & new places. I’m glad I did because now I have the map memorized visually
I dont hate the atomic shop its the reason why EVERY content update is free. You can earn them too and its better then paying for every update like destiny
I really like it now. I have done everything I can in all the other games and I’m glad I have this a chance cause it there are so many quest lines that are new and Appalachia is beautiful in game. It’s always crazy seeing a level 776 player run up to you and drop so much stuff that you can hardly carry it all. I was expecting to get killed 😂
As a new player lvl 80, i like the game since i came in with low expectations and knowing its not a true fallout game. performance can suck, some servers better then others it seems. quests have u got A to B to C to D back to A, the choices are ok at least some have a couple options. its rng therefore grindy. the world is nice and feels lived in. the map is good and exploration is good, variety of enemies is good, the game is like a fallout themed survival mmo rpg looter shooter. If u liked F4 on survival u will prob like it but the inventory management can rly suck when u wanna collect stuff. I do like the game but i cant say its not mid.
I'm having a similar experience, although I'm now hitting more than 200 hours played and still haven't experienced everything the map has to offer or even done all the main questlines because I get so distracted building bases or doing events and expeditions with randoms. For the amount I paid this game is a gem, but like you said, I can't go around marketing it for everybody. lol
The most frustrating thing for me with engine instability and buggy NPCs is the escort quest in The Most Sensational Game expedition. That fucking escort lags out, stands still, glitches or stalls so often that it's not uncommon to lose the 15 minute objective due to the NPC literally not responding.
This happens so often that I usually just exit and restart the Expedition if it gives me an escort. I doubt they actually have quality assurance or playtesters at this point in development tbh.
If you want to play a live service game that has been out for over 6 years and still get bored in less than a week you should definitely play Fallout 76. My favorite part about Fallout 76 is the $12.99/monthly pay to win service Bethesda Softworks calls "Fallout 1st". With Fallout 1st you can save stash space by moving all your junk and ammo (fusion and plasma cores not allowed) to separate containers that have no weight limit. Fallout 1st also grants you access to private worlds which trivializes workshops and challenges. I do not blame anyone for buying Fallout 1st because Bethesda Softworks makes Fallout 76 extremely tedious for those who do not buy Fallout 1st. Fallout 76 is an unfinished game and Bethesda uses Fallout 1st to balance the awful game play loops and mechanics. Please do not support the predatory business practices from Bethesda Softworks, It just makes video games worse for all of us that enjoy playing them.
Fallout 1st has anything to do with pay-to-win. I was gladly playing and enjoying 150 hours of gameplay before deciding to but a month of Fallout 1st because I was getting more into base building and it adds convenience for those who like that aspect of the game. There's A LOT to criticize about the game, but it being P2W is not one of them.
Of all the bugs you called out at the start I haven't experienced most of them personally. I play on Game Pass and PC. Undoubtedly your spawn point in camp can be manually set. I don't know how but i heard that recently. Now I regularly get npc's dying for no apparent reason. I have it happen constantly with certain areas. Like the lumber yard where all the Responders are. The one with Lane for the daily quests and not far from the Wayward and Vault 76. I'll walk up to it and everyone is shuffling around doing there thing and I'll use a bench to scrap and when I turn around everyone that's not essential is dead on the floors. I thought maybe they were being fragged by a high level sneaker or something but it happens on private as well as public servers. It happens quite a bit in that whole general area. Like the mine where all the blue ridge and Brahmin caravan stuff happens.
I've tried getting into 76 many times but I just become uninterested pretty quickly it feels like it's missing something that NV and f4 had that kept me playing so Ive just decided to stick with f4
I hate the normal/expert/master cards, take 9 levels to get , takes 9 perk slot, just for your damage not be shit, which should be your weapon responsability or the good old skill system that toke care of the boring parts like %damage, lockpick/hacking which made the perks cool, now i need to grind 9 levels to change my weapon, at lest the rest of the system is pretty good
It's great. Not the "classic" Fallout experience obviously. I really just like the universe of Fallout. I am not partial to any particular game, I think all of it is fun and interesting. For a multiplayer sandbox/themepark style game, it's about as close to Fallout as that could ever be.

Great video man! Ya know, this video really inspired me to give my take on this game. Been here since beta and got 1000+ hours, and hey maybe one of those "I played this for 1000 hours so you dont have to" would be fun to make
My fallout 76 time has been very bug free actually, in fact i think I have only ran into 1 bug being a simple power armor bug where i sometimes get stuck into the armor, and its only crashed once. Note:I'm playing on a day 1 release xbox one, that almost died when i tried to play dead by daylight.
It definitely is i came back to ky original level 6 character and within 3 days im now level 64 and kitted out with full ultracite pa and 50 cal machine gun.
Also you clearly don’t know what outfit you’re wearing, that’s not the Veteran NCR armor, that’s Ranger armor, just bog standard, not NCR and not the Veteran version. The vet version is in game but it’s worth 4000 atoms. The vet armor has more straps and parts to it. So if that’s why it’s not hitting for you it’s because your looking for the Veteran Ranger armor not the Ranger armor
Literally looking to see if fallout 76 then boom, 3 hours ago this man uploads this vid. Crazy how the universe works huh? Subbed and liked because it was predestined to happen.
I think this game is pretty good now, it's a decent spin off. Personally i think Fallput should branch out to different genres, the Mainline games have that RPG/Story open world stuff like previous games, and spin off games should try something unique.
i played 76 for a few months on release and i had some fun with it, i also surprisingly experienced very few bugs, but it just didn't click with me, even with all the updates and NPCs being added and new world spaces, it just isn't worth the time investment, the games entire gameplay loop is grinding to be able to grind more, encountering other players is cool for novelty's sake, but it just feels pretty hollow and boring unless you're playing with a squad of friends, and i just generally hate full priced games that release completely broken and shallow before they monetize all the improvements and recycled cut content for the forseeable future.
Two words, camp building. I've noticed a trend. People that don't like the game usually havent scratched the surface of that aspect. Granted it's not everyones cup of tea but for those like me (3200 hours), and there's many, it's amazing!
nope.. i have all the other Fallout games.. don't believe this one will be part of my library..one person mentioned monthly fees.. what the hell is that about..
My favorite part of 76 is the 50 cal machine gun. I come back to that game like once or twice a year just to roll around in power armor, use all my 50 cal ammo and craft some more for next time I hope on lol
Got it for $8 on sale shortly after the show dropped. Played the hell out of it for maybe 2 weeks, hit level 50, and dropped it. I was having a lot of fun reading notes and terminals, and listening to holotapes for a while there.. But man it started to get pretty old around level 40. Found myself spamming through terminal entries and notes rather than reading them after a certain point. Just like that it was "friendship ended with Fallout 76, now Dave the Diver is my best friend" Probably gonna stick my head in for the big Skylines update though.
76 is really fun but it gets boring pretty fast and doesn’t have much end game. Also fallout 1st feels pretty much mandatory if your a high level since get such little space in your stash box
If you don't have friends to play with or a clear goal in mind for what you wanna do in the game the game is miserable. Also fallout 1st is needed if you intend to actually play the game and are not just visiting.
I’m gonna have to start a play through of this game after I finish replaying fallout 4. I’m not sure why this dude hates fallout 4 so much literally one of the most replayable games with mods. And some of the mods coming out for 4 got me super excited like the fallout 1 and 2 remake on fallout 4s engine dude that’s got potential to be super fire
You spent time and did your research well. You missed a lot that can factor in in the good and the bad but Im still impressed and gotta give respect to youtuber reviewers like you. It's rare. Especially for people who claimed they are a fan of fallout franchise but dont know jackshit about what Fallout is about (And no, Im not a fallout 4 hater. I like all of the games). I can counter some of your opinions and judgements ofc, but I'm too tired defending this game for 2 years now lol not because I give up playing the game, I still play daily and I'm still enjoying myself because holy hell I'm still not done with the things they offer. They keep us fed! I'm also just happy that more and more people finally let go of their stupid stubborn hateful stance and just TRY. And turns out they are willing to admit that they have been the sheeple themselves for at least 3 years now. Because the game have been good since Wastelander DLC. It's just being perfected step by step and I'm a living witness of it (also thousands of us that's been playing or tried the game without the need of a viral TV Show). So yea, I'm not gonna counter some of your opinions that I disagree but I think making comments on good reviews like yours, giving a like and let anyone with a healthy brain and will, try the game on their own is enough. Some of your criticism and opinions are valid (just for the fresh ears and eyes can be blown out of proportion) but your good opinion about the game is quite exactly what I'm feeling about this game too. Good video, man. Thank you for visiting Appalachia. Hope to see you in the wasteland as a neighbour in the future
I came back to the game after years, I was already level 50 by the time I came back and I’m level 70 something now, my biggest wish for the game right now is for them to balance out how fucking Grindy the end game is, the 400 a day cap on gold is way too small. Not only are you grinding out the treasury notes but then you’re grinding out just turning them in everyday, at 400 gold a day you’d have to play 8 days straight to get enough gold just for some calibrated shocks for the hellcat PA, it’s a little much
@@TheFloodFourm it’s two separate grinds, you’re grinding the treasury notes then you’re grinding just turning in your daily limit. Should just be one grind or at least make the 2nd grind better by increasing the cap, like it’s seriously not that deep, there’s nothing wrong with allowing people to grind 1000 gold in one day and allowing them to buy one armor piece a day if they put in the work for it.
I’ve played all the big franchises but never touched a fallout game. But it was a concept I liked and I liked the tv show a lot so I’ve been putting hours into fallout 4. That’s the first one I got and really enjoying it. I think I’m gonna download this too. I played a lot of red dead online so I’m sure a lot of it will be familiar and it looks like a good time now
Crazy to think Red Dead Online hasn't been updated in ages while Fallout 76 is still getting content. That's what keeps me hooked when I come back to a game.
@@WAFFENFABRIK now that I think about it didn’t they come out around the same time? Red Dead Online was 2018. I spent so much time playing that one. I had a lot of fun and they added some good stuff but yeah they totally gave up and abandoned it. It was a whole big thing. Lots of good “post mortem” videos on it. I also got 76 and I’m maybe 5 hours into it and really enjoying what I’ve seen so far
@@iea8943 yeah I will probably play them all. I just need to finish Fallout 4. I got distracted and then took a trip and broke the habit of playing and now Kingdom Come Deliverance has sucked me back in. It’s an ongoing struggle. I’m very much aware of how much people love New Vegas
That moment when the the world looks absolutely amazing and theres no lag is truly serene almost feels like a new game. I havent had most of those bugs, its mostly power armor bugs
I hate the visual glitches for entering and exiting power armor and putting fusion cores into them, it’s existed since launch and idk why but it bothers me despite being so insignificant😂
In my opinion Fallout 76 started getting really good, then right around the battle pass time they added level scaling and started stuffing the servers with people now theres lots of server lag all over.
Thank for the review, im a big fallout fan and played all the fallout game including 76, recent returning to it after it horrendous launch, i find the game in a much better state (albeit still 76).
@@VORASTRA Bethesda has stated as long as the mod doesn’t effect the gameplay and that the mod is not a cheat then they don’t care. Try not to talk about what you know not
I am not a shill... Regarding the MTX and stuff, remember all the DLC and updates cost us nothing. Returning to Fallout 76 after 2 years I felt like I lost nothing. Returning to Destiny 2 after 2 years would bankrupt me.
So I got about 25 minutes into this video before I had to stop. It feels like you are rambling just to make a long video and aren't actually making any points other than "it's buggy and the frame rate issues bother me" Everything else is just a lot of words to say very little.
Just like that it was "friendship ended with Fallout 76, now Dave the Diver is my best friend"
Probably gonna stick my head in for the big Skylines update though.
76 is really fun but it gets boring pretty fast and doesn’t have much end game. Also fallout 1st feels pretty much mandatory if your a high level since get such little space in your stash box
I’m very excited. I guess a MothMan event starts this week and I get to play with my boyfriend 🥰
If you don't have friends to play with or a clear goal in mind for what you wanna do in the game the game is miserable. Also fallout 1st is needed if you intend to actually play the game and are not just visiting.
Oh yeah we back in the mountains
I'd say yes, been playing for a month now nd having a blast... literally.
I play on ps5 but the ps4 version of the game it runs smooth i havent ran into any of the problems you have
It just works
I fw you heavy vro…
I’m kunging
I wanna hear a video of you ranking the new Vegas companions lol. Boone be capping fools.
The thing that makes me love this game is playing with friends
I'll listen to this dude talk about it. Probably not going to play it though.
I'll give props to Bethesda for keeping it alive though.
When we getting another Chinese war story?
I came back to the game after years, I was already level 50 by the time I came back and I’m level 70 something now, my biggest wish for the game right now is for them to balance out how fucking Grindy the end game is, the 400 a day cap on gold is way too small. Not only are you grinding out the treasury notes but then you’re grinding out just turning them in everyday, at 400 gold a day you’d have to play 8 days straight to get enough gold just for some calibrated shocks for the hellcat PA, it’s a little much
The biggest way to get rid of the grind is to let players grind gold 24/7?
@@TheFloodFourm it’s two separate grinds, you’re grinding the treasury notes then you’re grinding just turning in your daily limit. Should just be one grind or at least make the 2nd grind better by increasing the cap, like it’s seriously not that deep, there’s nothing wrong with allowing people to grind 1000 gold in one day and allowing them to buy one armor piece a day if they put in the work for it.
There is also 300 gold per week you can buy in Wayward
I’ve played all the big franchises but never touched a fallout game. But it was a concept I liked and I liked the tv show a lot so I’ve been putting hours into fallout 4. That’s the first one I got and really enjoying it. I think I’m gonna download this too. I played a lot of red dead online so I’m sure a lot of it will be familiar and it looks like a good time now
You should play new Vegas since that’s where the next season might be. NV is also just goated lol.
I didn't get very far. But I watched some others revisit the game and I see them playing Destiny 2 type missions and yeah, not for everyone
You can change stats at level 25 not 50
I'm not seeing the lag and bugginess, but then, I run at 60fps.
76 Million will Owen Their Kung
“440fps”
Me playing Skyrim on Switch at a generous 25fps: 🤨
Yeah because the switch is like an 8 year old phone not a modern gaming pc
That moment when the the world looks absolutely amazing and theres no lag is truly serene almost feels like a new game. I havent had most of those bugs, its mostly power armor bugs
I hate the visual glitches for entering and exiting power armor and putting fusion cores into them, it’s existed since launch and idk why but it bothers me despite being so insignificant😂
@@nickmacias00 yeah I try not to look, especially when ur backpack clips, it's the worst lol
Based New Jersey dig, as a Philly native, fuck Jersey
I didn’t like 76 when it came out but returned to it in late 2019 and I’ve been returning daily ever since
In my opinion Fallout 76 started getting really good, then right around the battle pass time they added level scaling and started stuffing the servers with people now theres lots of server lag all over.
Thank for the review, im a big fallout fan and played all the fallout game including 76, recent returning to it after it horrendous launch, i find the game in a much better state (albeit still 76).
I never had any problems with stability, bugs, etc. So idk what you're talking about
Watoga actually never fails to drop my frames to about 11 because i play on an xb1
Pretty sure you can use the punch card at 25
The 3rd person being buggy is my biggest bother with the game rn
On pc you can mod graphics
No shit
Fuck around, find out. Some people were banned using mods after a while.
@@VORASTRA Bethesda has stated as long as the mod doesn’t effect the gameplay and that the mod is not a cheat then they don’t care. Like mods that make it faster to reload they ban for, if you are changing textures they said that’s okay. 🤷🏽♂️ been using mods for 3 years level 873 and I’m unbanned 🤷🏽♂️. Try not to talk about what you know not
better than the show but thats not saying much
It’s a lot of fun
It has mole men what more do you need to even know?
I just hate the quest design. Markers are bugged and it doesn't make sense half the time
I am not a shill...
Regarding the MTX and stuff, remember all the DLC and updates cost us nothing.
Returning to Fallout 76 after 2 years I felt like I lost nothing.
Returning to Destiny 2 after 2 years would bankrupt me.
I think of fallout 76 as just a harder version of fallout 4 that increases the challenge
Edit:I love the challenge
Is it as fun as fallout 4?
Is Owen worth kunging in 2024?
So I got about 25 minutes into this video before I had to stop. It feels like you are rambling just to make a long video and aren't actually making any points other than "it's buggy and the frame rate issues bother me"
Everything else is just a lot of words to say very little. I don't mean this to be a dick, just an observation.
High fps breaks Bethesda games in alot of ways I would say to cap your fps to 120-144 for a better experience.
..... you have to pay a subscription, to play solo? goddamn.
Is Owen worth Kunging in 2024?
Short answer: Yes.
Owen Kung
Hi Owen (Kung)
New kung, kung be praised
W video frfr
This video actually made Fallout 76 look enjoyable
The game wasn't even that bad when it came out atleast on xbox but that's probably cause you max out at 30 fps
Yes
LESSSS GOOOOO
Kung’s be like: “Is fallout 76 worth playing? Maybe idk go fuck yourself!”
Why did he say this?
I just kunged myself
Hi owen
