Now I understand why The Rumbling scene was so powerful and satisfying, those titans and huge founder titan, not only represented Eren’s rage, it also represented Ymir’s.
I believe that losing everything can be considered as gaining a rope at the bottom of the well... Which depending on how used can be our salvation or our end. But this will only depend on ourselves. For me, this is the reason we must carry with us two promises: "that we will always be our best friends" and that "if we are faced with a dead end, we will fight for our lives and we will win regardless of the cost". Because in a cruel world full of enemies, the last thing we need is to make ourselves our own enemy.
@NergySlasher56 Rock and metal as genres aren't super popular in the USA anymore, though it seems to be making a come back. But with a show as HUGE as attack on titan, it makes perfect sense how it can take off as it did.
@@AceHuman You be surprised how rock and metal is still super popular in the US. Im one of the few who still blast metal everyday all day. Regardless I blast my metal when I drive, I make people get their daily dose of metal for the day. No other music can kill the metal.
Since the very beginning, before he was born, 2000 years ago Eren's life was already determined. He was never free the whole time... everything he did HAD to be. He had to kill those two men when he was a kid, not because he wanted to. Despite this he would attempt to keep his freedom by thinking he was making choices on the fly, but once it came to the point where Eren manipulates his father, it doubles down on the fact that Eren has no choices to make, as they were all made for him, 2000 years ago.
Its not even the titan though. For me personally its Erins shadow in the Yungian sense. All the Trauma Erin has endured. Hes just a product of his environment and they reap what they sowed.
I love that this anime is so human. There's no good side and no bad side. Just people with their own motives and ambitions. People doing what they think is right
Which is why the ending is so bad, it goes from a morally ambiguous story where no one is right to a black and white hero vs threat of the world kind of story for no other reason than “do the right thing” it’s so disjointed and out of nowhere and ruins the moral ambiguity of the series because they literally state that the heroes are just good heroes doing the right thing even tho the world around it it’s trying to say something very different, at some point they’re proven wrong, that what they’re doing is pointless and super out of character to do, but they still do it because it’s “the right thing” it literally craps on everything that came before it
I mean there’s obvious good and bad in the history, it’s just in the present eren Yeager falls in the middle and blurs everything in comparison under worldwide turmoil

0:40 Tbh, I'm glad they kept Linked Horizon's style (a mix of rock, metal, classical instruments & choir) for the TV ver. It's kinda like Shingeki no Kyoujin's remarkable features since Guren no Yumiya. Genius composition!

I can’t imagine the honour that must’ve flooded them when asked to write the opening song to the last half of the final season of one of the most influential and important anime in history, and to hear the feedback from fans that they nailed it perfectly.
Every Opening of Attack on Titan is a Banger but this one captures Eren's perspective perfectly "All i ever wanted to do was save your life, i never wanted to grab a knife" fits for both Mikasa and Eren. "If i lose it all outside the walls , live to die another day" these lines fit perfectly for Eren. I like how this opening brought back our focus on Eren and his feelings and just how out of reach he is now. This Music Video was worth the wait and it's awesome with the Rumbling in the background. Thank you SiM for this banger. I gotta say this song makes me hyped up and even gets me emotional.
Yeahhhh the line with "the knife" doesn't sit right with me. We all know it's a reference to the day Eren saved Mikasa with a knife. But Eren DID want to "grab a knife". He wanted to save Mikasa, but he also wanted to kill the "animals" that took her. It's the same thing with the rumbling. Eren does it to save Eldia, but deep down he also wants it to happen. Spoilers if you're a anime only fan, but he confessed that when he cried to Ramzi. The song still does a really great job at capturing the tone and themes of the show. This is more of a nippick from me

I honestly can't wait to see where it goes next! And since the animation quality has gone down in these past 4 episodes, that only means the show is preparing for an amazing conclusion for the story and I can't wait!!!

What i also love about attack of titan is its music. Obviously all the anime has so good and great op, ed, ost. But the emotions such as rage, sadness, cruelty, pain, emotionless, dead all kind of emotions are depicted so perfectly in music here. Its so clear that even musical people understand the level of all this music chosen.
The 10 year journey ends here... Rest in peace to those who couldn't see this masterpiece and whoever watched this masterpiece, it was great while it lasted...

These lyrics hit me so hard. This is literally the embodiment of Eren's feelings for his actions, and one of the things (at least I think) what the creator wanted to tell us. This season's opening and ending are both bangers, and I can feel the creator of the songs love AOT too... I love it so much...
One thing attack on titan taught me is in order to survive hard situations you have to be selfish and put your happiness before anyone else, and since than I've never felt so free ❤

For me, this is the best AOT opening song. As a heavy metal fan, it's a rare treat to hear heavy metal and orchestra mixed into one in an anime opening song and it is in English sang by a Japanese band. WOW!! It's SUPER EPIC!
@@soulstone7737 I'm quite picky with heavy metal songs. The songs you recommended are not as epic as The Sims' "The Rumbling" song. Which has orchestra and English lyrics mixed in it and it is quite rare for anime opening songs that stands out from the rest. For me, this is the best anime and best music in one. I'm glad AOT has awesome song choices.
Eren was horrified by what he was forced to do. He literally says he tried to change the future but couldn't. He was always going to do what he did, anything else would reset him. The rumbling was inevitable

Every Opening of Attack on Titan is a Banger but this one captures Eren's perspective perfectly "All i ever wanted to do was save your life, i never wanted to grab a knife" fits for both Mikasa and Eren. "If i lose it all outside the walls , live to die another day" these lines fit perfectly for Eren. I like how this opening brought back our focus on Eren and his feelings and just how out of reach he is now. This Music Video was worth the wait and it's awesome with the Rumbling in the background. Thank you SiM for this banger.
I gotta say this song makes me hyped up and even gets me emotional.
Yeahhhh the line with "the knife" doesn't sit right with me. We all know it's a reference to the day Eren saved Mikasa with a knife. But Eren DID want to "grab a knife". He wanted to save Mikasa, but he also wanted to kill the "animals" that took her. It's the same thing with the rumbling. Eren does it to save Eldia, but deep down he also wants it to happen. Spoilers if you're a anime only fan, but he confessed that when he cried to Ramzi.
The song still does a really great job at capturing the tone and themes of the show. This is more of a nippick from me
@@billlee3851 Eren didn't want to grab a knife in the sense that he didn't want to kill those criminals, but he HAD to in order to be free. at least that's how i interpret it
I honestly can't wait to see where it goes next! And since the animation quality has gone down in these past 4 episodes, that only means the show is preparing for an amazing conclusion for the story and I can't wait!!!

What i also love about attack of titan is its music. Obviously all the anime has so good and great op, ed, ost. But the emotions such as rage, sadness, cruelty, pain, emotionless, dead all kind of emotions are depicted so perfectly in music here. Its so clear that even musical people understand the level of all this music chosen.
The 10 year journey ends here... Rest in peace to those who couldn't see this masterpiece and whoever watched this masterpiece, it was great while it lasted...

These lyrics hit me so hard. This is literally the embodiment of Eren's feelings for his actions, and one of the things (at least I think) what the creator wanted to tell us.

For me, this is the best AOT opening song. As a heavy metal fan, it's a rare treat to hear heavy metal and orchestra mixed into one in an anime opening song and it is in English sang by a Japanese band. WOW!! It's SUPER EPIC!
Sim is a great band, their opening to Shingeki no Bahamut also slaps hard.

@@soulstone7737 I'm quite picky with heavy metal songs. The songs you recommended are not as epic as The Sims' "The Rumbling" song. Which has orchestra and English lyrics mixed in it and it is quite rare for anime opening songs that stands out from the rest. For me, this is the best anime and best music in one. I'm glad AOT has awesome song choices.
