Theres this JAPANESE stereotype where girls would study humanities and boys would study science. So the boys were complaining “how could young ppl like us know anything about what people from the 20th century were thinking, and why would science students like us know anything about things like this, right?” and the 3 guys were annoyed because they were all humanities students, born in 20th century
The translation is a bit off, Mafuyu was saying "how are they supposed to understand people who were born in the second millennium".... Kaji, Haru and Take were all born in 90s, I suppose, so that's why they look so done xD
