Bowser is unironically my favourite Nintendo protagonist. Sure the bris were there, but I wanted to save Bowser and get revenge on the rat ass fawful. Its so endearing and cool

I think a reference would also be good enough too, like a mention in the dialogue, but i wont complain if they dont mention it. But at least some fan service would make the game perfect in my book :)
That would be really nice but they haven’t done that really with the other games outside of light cameos here and there. I would love to see it again tho
