    Hi, Scoop is only used incase of import/Export of structured data, but how the data can be dumped into H-Base as its a Nosql database (for unstructured and semi-structured data)??Thank You

    • @edurekaIN
      @edurekaIN  5 років тому +1

      Hi Hitesh, You cannot import semi structured or unstructured data using sqoop. It's becasue RDBMS doesnt let you store unstructured data. In case of that, you can use flume for data streaming of unstructured data.

    Very clear and nice content... How to do incremental update via sqoop?

    • @edurekaIN
      @edurekaIN  5 років тому +1

      Hi Dhananjayan, thanks for the compliment. For example: sqoop import --connect jdbc:mysql://localhost/employees --username edureka --table employees --target-dir /Latest_Employees --incremental append --check-column emp_no --last-value 499999
