NolanRides (UA-cam channel) has the dual sport klx 300 and he has the ejk. I think either would be good. I mainly chose the power commander V bc of the maps they already had available for an fmf pipe... consequently the fmf pipe, nor any other I want, has not been available bc of covid, so I use the stock pipe tune which is still a big improvement.
When you first get the power commander, do you have to instal a tune on the commander before using it or does it come with a stock tune already on it for you to use.
@@klxcountry I didint feel it... I took it to the track this Sunday and took the tune off and went all back to stock and I didint feel anything still hit doubles on third just the same as I use to.
@@kevroq6139 did you download the correct map? Honestly I cannot understand this, there is literally a measurable difference. You could t always take it to a Dynojet authorized dyno shop for a fine tune... at the very least they can visibly show the difference between stock and not. Sorry your experience has not been satisfactory, as I have been pleased with the result.
I'm planning on Doing that, ill make a video and see if I can squeeze anything out of it. I'm at sea level, miami idk if that makes a difference, but tune still runs very lean for me with back fire so I'm pretty sure there is a little more there. Thank you
@@kevroq6139 I'd be interested in your results as well as the elevation question. Hopefully this will work out to your benefit bc the PCV and the pipe are hella expensive. I get small backfires on occasion, due to excessive fuel delivery I assume, I will eventually get mine to a dyno shop too.
This is a 8:32 video, at 5:13 the cover comes off the bike lol. Its an install video...
Fair point, though I did mention at the end of the video that I accidentally deleted the actual installation video.
I have a klx300sm and am thinking of getting this or the ejk

It comes with the stock tune!
Ok thanks for the info

I didint feel much difference but out 1200 on muffler, header, and power commander
There is a substantial difference through third gear on my 2021 300r with the Pro Circuit T6 and my PC V tuned for the PC T6.

What tune did you use for the Power Commander? Stock tune?
Yes, makes a difference. If pipes ever get in stock I will change the tune accordingly.
Is their difference in tunes provided on the website with this bike and a 22' KLX 300 SM?
Good Question, I have not checked as I don't have the SM!
😅
Do you happen to watch Pug1 by any chance?
Sorry, just saw this.
Not as much as I used to, but he was one of the first UA-camrs I ever watched.
