This is by far the best video of a properly driven GT3 4.0. Perfect gear changes and heel-and-toe down-shifts. The boy is a proper racer. Luckily I drove one of these at Silverstone Porsche. This car is a precision instrument. It is meant for serious drivers.
That car grips like a boss! Ive just thrown my KW out because it was forever skipping over bumps, standard Porsche is so much more compliant on that track. And so bravely driven, not even a lift before the bottom of Fuchsroehre! Thx for uploading...
without that traffic and without passenger maybe hits 7:12s. or so I think this is the Fastest n/a 6 cylinder engine/car in the world? its just an Amazing machine in the top 10 of Best sport cars ever in my opinion
+Ivan Nosic It has more power/litre than any NA car in the world. And it's a porsche. Would not be surprised if it's the fastest NA 6 cyl. I think the Nurburgring top 100 lap times confirm it actually.
the BtG time is the usual time manufactures use for their automobiles. wether its the 7:19 for the zr1, the 7:28 for the 458 italia or the 7:24 for the enzo. so the 7:22 is an amazing time for a the gt3 rs in traffic and a passenger
Cups, 3 or 4 trackdays. 7.15 sounds about right. Marco complained a bit of understeering on the entries, the car's setup was for the flat tracks, just returned from Imola.
Sorry Boys, thats a fake time! It is not the same bridge at the beginning of the time measurement and at the end. There are about 2km between these bridges!

Die VLN SP7-9 brauchen für den fehlenden Teil ca 20 Sekunden. Dies soll nicht die Leistung des Fahrers oder des Autos herabsetzen, aber 7:22 sind doch ziemlich optimistisch!

Not bad in traffic, but the standard Nismo ran a 7:18 BTG 4 seconds faster in traffic. Still remember the N attack lapped 7:19.46 full lap with passenger. Great driving there just the car not as good as Nismo.
This is a GT3 RS 4.0. The highest GT3 version of the 997. It has more horses and weights less. Not fair to compare it with the lowest version of the 991 GT3. Wait til the GT3 RS of the 991 series comes.
Yes but how about Viper TA beating Viper ACR on track with less down force and less tire? Porsche can't outgun a top end 997 with 991 doesn't mean other factory can't.

Bridge to Gantry.. so werden die Zeiten auf der Nordschleife gemessen. Man kann während der Touristenfahrten nicht Vollgas über die Gerade fahren.

Well, that's the BtG time, for a full lap time you need to add 23 sec GtB then deduct around 2 sec for T13.
