To be honest, I love the design of Faker, it is simple but it fulfills if function of generating that feeling that something is not right or that it is not the original Sonic The Hedgehog

This cool i've always liked faker even after the controversies and I thought hog was just his replacemtrn kinda like a faker 2.0, anyways this cover is pretty cool in my opinion and if it was possible to alter faker's sprites to be shaded so it could fit in more after the transformation that would've been badass still good cover tho it's just a little detail that would'vemade it better

Yeah I can see where you’re coming from. Faker is copying the more Modern Sonic (lankier proportions) whereas Hog is copying th classic style (shorter limbs, more round and friendly appearance)

i've never noticed that Faker was way taller than Hog.

In this alternate reality: Faker makes his return in the mod after Revie is claimed to be innocent, and Hog gets scrubbed from the files. (Which is why he becomes glitched near the end of the song.) Also, I just want to put it out there, I think it's so fucking funny that people immediately started calling Faker generic and bad after Revie got cancelled. When I NEVER saw anybody saying any of that when she was still "relevent."

Y'know what makes things funnier? From what I saw, people didn't even mostly TRY to give arguments on why EXE/Faker's suddenly generic and shitty. Like, really. At least a comparison of Hog/Scorched and EXE from those people as a way to prove their opinion would be enough already, but nope.

For Hog fan I agree with you guys that his lore look interesting than Exe and his original concept design looks really creepy and scary. But the new one doesn't look scary at all, instead it looks badass.
But While Exe looks normal and generic But that's why it makes us nervous because we don't know if this guy is real or not. and when he start transform I'm pretty sure many pals are definitely freaking out.

I like the idea that one thinks the other is the real Sonic hoping that they like their imitation of him, this goes on for an entire day until half way through the song Hog realizes that Faker is, well, a faker, resulting in Hog revealing their true form. After seeing that they were practically the same, Faker reveals his true form as well wanting to converse with another imitator. While Hog is pissed that he was bamboozled and that Faker copied him, Faker still wanted to hang out with Hog because they had the exact same idea and thought it was neat that they were very similar. This goes until Hog's code begins to break apart, forcing himself to patch up with other assets in order to not die, and Faker is genuinely concerned about Hog and their health. And in the end, Hog just stops and Faker just feels bad.
Hog is a bootleg and Scorched is a deformed Sonic mixed with Hog, they're different characters

I am personally biased towards Sonic 2 since it was the first Sonic game I ever really enjoyed. Replaying them in Origins really did put into perspective how much better 3K was.
