Here is the scoop. The SIM card in the trackdot is for 2G. 2G is being discontinued around the country. Some places have it some don't. I have had trakdot for several years, and it really does not work anymore. They send out an email to the subscribers admitting that there is an issue and they are fixing it. It will take several weeks. I got that email in September. It is December. No fix. I called trakdot and they have a message stating that you have to email them or go to their Facebook page to contact them. I did both. Facebook, no answer. I emailed them several times and got an automated response. When it worked, it worked. I think the fix will cost them so much money that it is not worth it for them. I believe they are either going out of business or are out of business. It would be nice if they would be honest, instead of this shadiness. I have a lift time subscription, which is now useless. But on a positive note....I know that the major airlines, are now tracking bags, and you can do the same using the airline app. Again, when trakdot worked, it was good. Now, it is just a piece of useless plastic.

That makes sense! Thank you for the clarification why it's not performing. I too wish they would just kill it and tell people.

I've been thinking about getting a baggage tracking device. One-star reviews, big red flag. What a disappointment. Thanks for this video and I won't be buying.
