Budokai Tenkaichi for me has the Best Character Selection Screen.. but Maan, Xenoverse BGM Gives me so much Nostalgia and Calmness, the first time i Played it was in High School, Living a Happy Life 🥹
@Adizero2 when i said BT, i mean the concept, we dont need multiple slot for Transformation just like in SZ, it only expand and shows available transformations only when you select that character, or Press R1 or L1 to change transformation when selecting character
I just noticed krillin next to 18 in the first game. She's even looking at him being goofy foreshadowing their relationship. On no other menu screen is she next to him
in my opinion to sparking zero, they could've squished the transformation under the characters, rather than having a huge expansion, towards it if you hover over the transformations they could add like a different camera angle change back and fourth etc

As much of an nostalgia geek I can be, I gotta say Sparking Zero is a good addition to the series in its own way. I love and cherish those older games for what they did during those moments in time. Now in the Era of DLC let's hope we get as much content as the rest of the older titles.

I’m just now realizing how much they took away from us on Dragon Ball Sparking. Yeah they will continue to charge DLC and milk us for the longest, but some of these older games just said “fuk it, take everything and more for no extra charge”
I like budokai tenkaichi 2 and 3 cuz of the characters pictures but i dont like that u cant see which costume u choosing like in budokai and xenoverse series so you need to remember or just guess what costume is which and sparking zero just look too generic for me and i dont like how half of the characters are Goku and Vegeta i would like it more if transormations are hidden behind the character like in budokai tenkaichi series so u can see more characters without scrolling down and the design is something i will expect from roblox or indie game to do but i like that u can see characters and how they interact with each other on character select screen But thats just my opinion
27:39 thats not Raging blast 2's original soundtrack is it? I remember it different. Because i know it was rerelease with a different soundtrack due to some kind of copyright issues they had with the original games soundtrack. I played the original release of the game and i loved that soundtrack

7:35 Brooo this is *NOT* the normal character selection menu from Tenkaichi 1,?this is the menu in the Tournament mode, the disposition of characters and the music are really different in this mode
Tenkaichi 3 is just pure perfection in every aspects (presentation, efficiency, structure, artstyles, music and sound effects). Raging Blast 2 also was great (tho ifear with how big the SZ roster is they would need to make smaller portraits which could be chaotic)
To be very honest, the best is the one from Dragon Ball Fighter Z. The worst have to be Ultimate Tenkaichi. Infinite World, Budokai 1 and Burst Limit have great character screen designs too.
I really miss the character artworks from BT2 and 3. Gave the games a lot of personality.
And the layout was much more efficient.

I grew up playing Budokai 1, 2 and 3. The list goes on and I’m 24 years old. Budokai was my very first DBZ game had it on my PS2
