Roxie is a very sweet dog and she is sweet because she has been treated with kindness. Areon is sweet too and you can see how much he cares about Roxie. Good job everyone!
This was my favorite episode! I mean you could tell that the dude wasnt just hearing, and was actively learning so we know that he will continue conditioning Roxy, Roxy is in good hands!!
What a kind, sweet young man. Once he was explained how to help Roxie--he was right there. I love Arion's smile and his good heart shines through. His God Mother must have been a kind soul too. Thank you Cesar for helping him and Roxie--a great episode.❤
I was going to say before the owner explained the dogs past, that she looked sad when he leaves, but now it makes sense. But Ceasar always knows how to save the day.
Caesar is the BEST!! ❤ Bless this man for helping Roxy and young gentleman to overcome this anxiety. I too have a Shihtzu with separation anxiety. It’s not any fun for both of us.
They both learned quickly. It's nice to see one of these where the owner is on board right away. He just needed to have that calm energy for Roxy and know how to calm her. Maybe this will help me with my cat being around or meeting strangers. Though I think I'm calm and she still gets nervous.
My dog knows when i tell her "No, you stay, go lay down" And then I follow her to her spot. I say, "Good girl, you stay" Then she settles in, and doesn't follow me to the door. If i don't go through that routine, she thinks she was supposed to come too. I give her closure and understanding. I never had to do that with my other dogs. But Iearned this technique FROM watching Cesar, for this dog. It WORKS
I did the same thing and it worked great. When I came home and they were downstairs in their crate, They would start barking and keep barking until I came downstairs. So when I went downstairs I said nothing to them, I said nothing. Going down the stairs just unlocked their crates, let them out, walked upstairs and after a couple of times they didn't bark at all waiting for me to let them out. They were incredibly quiet when I got them out of their crates and we've had no problems since. I think talking to them on the way down just reinforced their behavior to keep barking.
They are really kind of a one person owner/carer but they can be socialized to accept other people/family members other dogs etc. Each dog regardless of the breed has their own little peccadillos but generally GS’s are really smart and they really learn quick and love to please their people.
In dog training class everything was done for a treat keeping my pup in an excited state of mind. I took away treats and she really started to listen much better. I also started feeding her calmness at dinner. Took a long time for her to calm down, but got better and better. Her separation anxiety vanished! She came to me on anxiety meds, I couldn’t leave room let alone house, and within a very short time, she’s now so chill when we leave. Also did the grab keys and walk in and out all day long. But the feeding her calmness and stopping the treats were key!
Let’s celebrate YOU! Good for you, you learned the tools and took the time, made the effort-and you and your dog would absolutely be welcomed at my house! I finally instituted a “no dog” policy because I became disgusted with owners inflicting their animals on me and my pets. Would you just assume your toddler is safe at my place without YOUR supervision?!
Good for you! Treats should only be used as a tool sparingly instead of for everything. As a good trainer once told me, you (the owner) should be the treat! Toys and food can only help so much. They should enjoy the toy or treat because of you
@@tundrawomansays694 what a kind message! thank you! I used to be very afraid of dogs, so when I found Cesar many years ago, I was fascinated. So grateful for his teachings! We love our Lil so, so much ❤️
@@UmbreonLuv1 thank you! I love that! I, we, do love her so much and I know we giving her a better life. Even when not training, whenever I notice she’s relaxed I give her extra love. Thank you for commenting! Really love that saying from your trainer.
Great episode! One additional tip for managing separation anxiety in dogs is to use interactive toys or puzzles when you leave. These can help keep your dog's mind engaged and reduce stress. Also, consider leaving a piece of clothing with your scent to comfort them.
assert what you want with the energy of " there is no other option for you to do, only what i said ..." they are not taking you seriously , if they did they would do as you say .
Roxie is a very sweet dog and she is sweet because she has been treated with kindness. Areon is sweet too and you can see how much he cares about Roxie. Good job everyone!
roxie is kind dog so is the owner itself, syou can see it through his face and ways of action God bless❤

I'm sorry for your loss and you are an outstanding young man keep doing you!!
Not many people would be so kind of a pet that had unexpectedly be dropped on them. These two make a great pair. Great owner, lovely pup.
So very grateful you are able to keep moving forward. The whole world needs you. A unique legacy. Oh and I'm crushing on you 😊

It WORKS
And it worked because YOU took the time and made the effort truly understand and work with your animal. Congrats to YOU!
Love this episode! Smart and sensitive ypung man. Roxie and Him will both be happier.
I taught my puppy by saying, I'll be back and I came back from shorter to longer times for that trust. Works like a charm

Great teamwork and attitudes. Everyone is happy. Love that.
I LOVE how the boy is so proud of her!
Amazing Duo!❤
This story got me at the feels 😢❤
She lost her first owner and is afraid to lose another. GSDs love hard.

This video gave us some very good insights and techniques to use on our dog. Thanks Cesar.
I'm not sure who's more amazing - Roxie or Arionne. Hmm, maybe both of them "unlocked" their true "inner power!"🤩
Thank you my 1 year old pup suffers from car anxiety you’ve just taught me how to deal with it.
