- In this throwback episode from Cesar 911, I return to my Los Angeles roots - the South Central area -to face the menace of the neighborhood. I meet a ravaging and raging Pit bull that is completely untamed and forces me to take precautionary measures before things get dangerous.

Cesar is a gift to the world! We need more pre owner education, classes where people can learn the basics before they get the dog 🐶
Great comment!
I've often said that I wish people would have to take classes and pass tests before they could have kids. Same principle applies all around.
@@melisavierra7812 they should research the breed but most go for the latest trendy fashion for a dog
Yessss you’re soooo so right! I got a pit bull as big and muscular as this one as MY FIRST DOG. Imagine it. But Cesar saved my life, and my dogs life. Now we know how to behave ourselves around each other ! And other’s
He's caught up in the Hollywood perversion.
Cesar is a treasure. He’s helped our Family so much!
How's so
@@benediktjostingmeier2223probably from the advice given in videos
What episode are you in?
THIS one was what Cesar es ALL ABOUT.
That's for sure
These people are just too dumb for a dog, unfortunately.
@@arno7804…. I detest rude comments like yours. Uncalled for and serves no purpose but absolutely shows how obtuse you are
@@pattiemcd8790 lmao
@@pattiemcd8790 Rude? Maybe. On par with calling someone "obtuse" unprovoked. But he isn't exactly wrong.
At first, I didn’t think this family was willing to try except for maybe the daughter but to see dad and mom all come together with her that was pretty special way to go guys just remember they need so walk them or at least throw the ball you need to tire them out, no matter what and you will have a well balanced dog. I love this guy. I’ve been paying attention to him since I don’t know how long now and helped so many dogs, including my neighbors all around me I never take credit for it I always give it to CesarMillan. I just do what he does but I listen to why and how he’s telling everybody what he’s doing and I study that.
Please don't tire them down with a ball other way they get fixed on it. You can use práctice básic obedience or put them on the tredmill if is hard to walk them or a 5-10 min run.
Just proves once again that it’s the owner who makes the dog ! Another great story
Animal person is much different than a responsible animal pack leader.
The delusion most people live in is unreal and it's not limited to being an animal person... We are doomed 🤦🤪
Right! Irresponsible..
Correct. A person getting a dog should be getting it because they love dogs and are helping. A person getting a dog so that the dog can entertain or keep them company is a disaster for both dogs and person.
@rickv…”And the double truth, Ruth”.- Señor Love Daddy
Exactly
I really love these parents. Such a great generation. It's awesome the way Ceasar respects the elders and calls the dad "sir". I notice he does this a lot. I think it has to do with his cultural background. People today, especially in America, should be more respectful.
My favourite part was when Cesar was like it's because you don't walk your dog and the father was like excellent analyses; in such a way as they had a conversation, with the father acknowledging, all without explicitly saying it.
Same. Cesar and the dad had great communication.
This is why Ceaser is the GOAT. He's doing so much for dogs and people. We've lost our way about so many things, lost common sense. Ceaser helps dogs that are on their way to the needle, and he shows it. This is who you should be listening to about how to manage dogs and along the way you will learn a little about managing kids and yourself and other things. All of this carries over into most aspects of life.
I never tire of this.
This was a great episode. Cesar actually changed the family. Which means that Luna is gonna be a happier dog forever now.
What a beautiful family. Michelle did great with learning. Caesar is a people trainer, and the dogs show us how well we can be trained as leaders. The dad and Cesar seemed like they could be friends. Compatible minds.
Another success, another dog saved, another happy family.
Love watching Cesar doing his thing.
I'm grateful for Cesar helping Luna, but her owner is exactly WHAT'S WRONG WITH PITBULL OWNERS. He saved us from ONE. Imagine all the other people out there who thinks they're cool and gets a puppy and then does ZERO to train it.... ZERO!!!! Then when it bites someone and they end up on Judge Judy, they deny, deny, deny that their dog did it. And parenting also comes to mind also..... But I'll stop with the dog owner. I don't want to belittle unnecessarily. ❤ Her parents are wonderful people!
Edit... I finished the video. I AM very proud of the young lady's progress. Now she knows how to be a responsible dog owner! And she'll carry that with her into the next one. Ty, Cesar!
These people prefer pitbulls as beloved breed
an unresponsible owner is an unresponsible owner regardless of the dog breed they own. btw the dog in this case is an amstaff mix
@Omkuskom I just say "pitbull" bc that's the term everyone recognizes, regardless of the actual technical breed. But you are definitely right... The breed doesn't matter... But I'd rather be bitten by a Chihuahua than a bully breed.... Any bully breed. 😮
@@maryherendeen2151 the bigger the dog the bigger the risk and it's the owners responsibility to have some basic manners. the pitbull btw, has been bred to be friendly towards humans so that's also important to keep in mind despite some people dispicing their looks. moreover, we die more to dog-transferred deseases than the actual dog bite so it's really important to have some basic training on your dog even if it's a very small one.
I agree. The owner hasn’t walked this dog , trained this dog … it’s ridiculous. With a dog that size and this breed ( more aggressive than most ) she should of been walking him 2-3 times a day to tire him out and spend quality time with her . Has never been on a leash??? My god, no wonder this poor girl is confused and aggressive. Shame on the owner , this dog had no discipline. The animal pays for the owners laziness and stupidity. So not right !!!
Cesar is amazing! So in tune with animals _and_ with human nature 💕 I'm really thankful that we can watch these episodes again on YT.
All it takes is consistency and training. Well taught Cesar!
There are no bad dogs just bad owners! Cesar is the man!
Uh uh...ain't no dog running up on my mother ...especially such am elderly woman.

I don't think this family needs a dog
Not the dogs fault they never did even the simplest of training or walking the dog .
These aren’t the right people to have a pitbull. Not the dog’s fault
@@teevan7765yeah it is the people's problem... 🙄
Thanks!
These people should not be owning any dogs ... let alone a Pitbull breed 🤣🤣🤣
So…why not any animals?
Michelle showed that she's deserving of a dog, just not THIS dog. She got in over her head, which is pretty common. But to say she shouldn't "own any dogs" is a bit much. You're what's wrong with the internet these days. Congrats!
@@jasras5003 A dog is a dog. All breeds require the owner to be calm, certain, and assertive. Pitbulls more than most, but the principle is the same for any breed. I think this family is too friendly, too soft, not assertive enough to own a dog, let alone a pitbull.
It's comments like these that make me wonder if you folks watched the whole show. Michelle learns very fast. She learned what she was doing wrong and corrected it. Cesar was very in impressed with her over all control of the dog on his followup visit and so was I. A dog should bark when someone is at the gate. Michelle's control of the situation was great. Now the whole family is comfortable with Luna. Grandma "she is such a sweetheart" says it all. This show just disproved your statement. If these folks can control a pitty in just a few short weeks the can control any dog.
Totally agree @@ronaldderooij1774

That daughter putting her parents in danger is a disgrace!!
You comment is borderline racist.
Listen to the dialogue: She got the dog as a puppy. Dog was fine until dog was about two years old and dog lost what ever brain cell it had left. Cesar does Canine Magic and Luna becomes a dog who got her groove back. Like Stella ;-)

If you want a pitbull, you need to be trained to understand this breed.
Yep. I love German shepherds, but I don't have the time or the energy for what they would need from me. Same goes for all strong and really all dogs
This comment suggests this is normal behaviour for a pitbull, it isn't.
If you want to educate people on pitbulls you should probably know the difference between a blue American Staffordshire terrier and an American pit bull terrier.
@@David-qn9wu I never said I want to educate anyone, and how do you know this dogs breed? Several times the dog was referred to a part 'Pittie". even by Cesar.
@@David-qn9wu if you’re going to comment about educating others, maybe do so yourself? all the original comment said was get educated, whether it’s for pits or another breed.
I just love Ms Lillian 💕 she is adorable so Luna's trying to catch up 😊 Great job everyone ❤❤❤❤
Cesar making the world safer and more balanced for everybody 👏
This was just FANTASTIC❣️❣️❣️
It's so nice to see how everyone grows. The family is so nice and sweet, so unsure in the beginning. I ask myself if one of the reasons is, they were tought early (in a bad way) to behave submissive instead of leading because of their skin colour and history. But with a little help from Cesar they became who they are: nice, sweet, self condident and strong leader who they ever have been inside. Dad said it would break his and his daughters heart to give the dog away. Mum says at the end "my dog" and you can feel the love. Now Luna ist the families dog as ever dreamed of. And Luna feels save because her family knows how to show her what's right and wrong and they do it. Calm and strong and with a good feeling of her emotional status. Hope we all learn it's better to offer help to grow instead of blaming someone who has obviously problems with handling his or her issues. Good job, Cesar, and thank you for sharing! I learn a lot. And if I ever get the dog I dreamed of when I was a child I will prepare myself in leadership before I bring him home! God bless!
She should've had proper training as a puppy. No excuse when she had that dog at six weeks, absolutely no excuse cor the behaviour now. So many people in this world who should not own dogs.
lol😂
AND you shouldn’t take a puppy away from its mother before 8weeks!
I know this lady loves Luna, but she is not compatible with her. Luna needs a stronger owner to lead her.
I am always gobsmacked when people say "I love dogs" and then pop them in a box and go to work the whole day!! Loving dogs is one thing, but if you really love dogs, you learn about them and their behaviors and you have time for them! You do not humanize them, ever!!
Meaning, you don't let them sleep in your bed, feed them pizza, etc, and ice cream, you reward them with activities, a strict pack order, and anything that supports their physical and mental wellbeing. I am glad they called Cesar, whi has a profound knowledge of dogs.
Hi, guys. I am comeback again! Sir Cesar Millan is a savior for dog lovers. Dog lovers all over the world.
As is often the case. It is the owners that need training. Not so much the dog (who, 'wanted' to do the right thing from the start). For one, they were treating her like a human (and expecting human responses). You could see the dog had a great character (ignoring other dogs barking etc). She just needed the most basic of guidance. To understand her role.
Good to see the owner bringing that guidance into the dogs life.
All is not well with mom and dad’s relationship. I think the wife was expecting her husband to say woe be unto the dog if it bit her, but he actually said he’d feel sad about his daughter getting rid of Luna. That’s your wife, dude. You should’ve never tolerated any aggression towards her and certainly always been there to back the dog off - until your daughter got rid of it by ultimatum from you.
Obviously her heart is in the right place but good grief didn't she teach the dog anything when she got her?
Luna would do well with a strong willed assertive owner. The people need to be trained.
Luna would love to live at Caesars. She would be part of a pack and flourish.
But she sure does love her mom. That was evident. But looked happier at Cesars
If it was just mom I don't think there would be any problem. But I don't feel so sure that grandma can change completely. She doesn't seem comfortable with dogs. If Cesar could take Luna it might be a perfect solution. Mom could visit her once a week or so. Just one person's opinion.
Luna had those crazy scary eyes. Just hope this family will continue the walks and follow thru on Cesar’s instructions
People should not own breeds that are stronger than they are. Pit bulls fall into that category for most people.
My pit weighs 100 pds.and very strong. Im 64,and i weigh 123pds. I can control her and she protects me. It depends on how theyre raised and trained just like any other breed.
Disagree, ppl who don't properly train a dog shouldn't own powerful breeds. Horses, if not trained how to act and react around ppl, can be dangerous and even deadly. No one would suggest only ppl stronger than a horse should have them.
What are you talking about pitbulls and staffys are the best breed in the world I wouldn't own any other dog. The rest have no character and are more self centered then this breed this breed of dog will literally be your best friend. She just shouldn't own a dog she's useless.

@2:20 Cesar notices he's dealing with 3 human Idiots , 😂😂😂
You lack Home Training ❤❤
Cesar: "Feed Luna a treat"
Lillian: Immediately teases Luna and makes her go back to her old ways.
Cesar is a psychologist, not only for a dog mind, but also for peoples minds. There is much more to this than most people without psychology training realize, starting with why some people have these kinds of dogs and the relationship between the dog and the owner and their relationship with the world around them. The dog is actually reading the humans mind and protecting the owner from the things that he owner is fearful of. Amazing work from Cesar.
I tried to shhhhhhh dogs didn’t work for me and ended up almost getting bit. Cesar just has a vibe with 🐕 props my brother. BTW if you are a real true blue fan, read his book of when he first started his career and how hard it was. Truly inspiring story. There really should be a movie about him.

Cesar is fabulous, love watching his videos
I love Cesar. God bless him!
Luna is beautiful. I've had pitties all my life. You need to establish you're the pack leader from the moment she comes into her home. This breed is very affectionate and loyal if loved correctly.
Witam Cesar dzięki Tobie nauczyli się, że pies musi być uczony, prowadzony od początku. Ja mam już dtugiego pitbulla i uważam, że dobrze prowadzone wyrastają na kochane psiaki. Pozdrawiam serdecznie 👍
It's so upsetting to hear that people take a puppy away from the mama and nursing before 12 to 15 weeks. It's very cruel and unhealthy.
Beautiful family beautiful dog
No amount of training can change the genetics of a bloodsport breed. Even Ceaser himself has said this in an episode that is now no longer available. This dog is a liability.
I 100% agree with you. Most of the people commenting on this episode are WRONG. I have been a dog trainer for over 30 years and this dog is/and will always be, a danger to the family and other humans.
Pitbulls should be banned.
Blame the human, not the animal. It's because of sentiments like yours, that thousands of dogs aren't given a chance and are put down.
@@gundamzerostrike Any dog can be aggressive. Especially with dumb humans looking after them. The dog whisperer show features dozens of different dog breeds lots of whom have aggression issues, yet it's the pitbull who's singled out? If you want to talk about breeds that are prone to biting, how about every toy dog breed in existence? almost everyone's dog bite stories involve tiny breeds, but the only reason you're not calling for their immediate executions country wide is because they're too small to cause damage. I hope folk like you are never trusted to make decisions involving the lives of animals, because you'll just read some news story and make monday morning quarterback decision without any knowledge or experience in the area.
@@jarongreen5480 I DO blame the human(s). Today especially they are lazy, irresponsible, ignorant and ill informed. The animals would be better put down than in the hands of these humans! Great work Ceaser, she’s getting calmer, and learning to trust.
The owners really stepped up to plate. They had the potential energy, and they turned it into kinetic energy for Luna.
The dog needs a vacation from the people lol
That yard could certainly need some agility equipments. She needs a job.
It's frustrating watching people own dogs that are lazy to work with them from the get go of owning them.
To assume they didn’t work with the dog because they were lazy is an ignorant observation. You don’t live there, how would you know?
The lazy thing would have been to give up the dog without even trying. They're obviously working hard even though it takes courage , especially for the mother. You try being a petite woman and train something that has already threatened you. Go ahead.
@@nicholegreen210 Considering the dog split its time between a shared backyard and a kennel just big enough for it, it'd be a safe bet she was either stupid or lazy.

With that ladies understanding of dogs, she should have got a labrador, not a pit bull.
No dog whisperer, Cesar Millan is a brand in itself. Great work.
Don't get a dog of that caliber if you aren't willing to put in the time for intense training.
Unbelievable!
You are Amazing Cesar!❤
I hate when people have no idea what a pit bull is all about but still get one. That woman shouldn't even have any dog but if she has a dog, it should be something like a lab.
And then get the defense "It's the owner, not the dog." That's true, and these people are not the proper owners for a pit.

Incredible work Cesar and Luna's family.
The problem is always the human not the dog 🙄. Why do they get this big dogs 🫤
She has zero control with this aggressive dog.The whole family hid from the dog.
Worse case senerio...she kills someone. They do it all the time.
2024 70 fatalities by dogs 70% were guess what breed.
That's not even to talk of the bites that were nonfatal or all the poor animals on animal attacks this breed does.
Game-bred dogs have a place in the world. With a dog like Luna, a home intruder is the one in danger.
Such a beautiful animal.
Wrong dog for this family. It will shorten grandma's life. Plenty of other breeds to choose from that can guard and be a family dog as well.
Cesar the people whisperer! ❤️
As usual, when you see an out of control dog, simply look at the owners and their total lack of understanding the dog.
For Michelle, the dog is more important than her mother. What's the whole point in owning a dangerous beast.
It begs the question, why?
This guy is Goat
Crazy eyes
I rescued my baby at age 4 months from a dumb young 20-something dude who thought he would be cool owning a pit -- OK, it was my kid I rescued her from, but she still ended up with the "life of Riley" because of that confiscation. I had never had a pit before, so I did as much training as possible with her. She is now AKC-CGC certified for obedience and is currently the star class clown in the fourth level of agility training. She loves training and working on skills; it keeps her occupied, focused, and she loves the praise and attention when out in public. Also, the training and practice never stops; she passed the CGC exam in 2021, but we still practice obedience and occassionally slip into the advanced obedience class as a refresher. She's a true breed ambassador. BUT-- it took a lot of work on her part AND my part. In fact, all of the training was more directed towards ME and not really her. She looks to me for direction, so it's up to me to ensure she understands exactly what is expected. At first I didn't want to watch this video because of the negative connotations always associated with pitties ("dangerous, untamed, ravaging, raging" etc), but really this dog was begging for her human to guide her and be the pack leader. Well done, Luna's mom, and well done to Luna's grandparents. Those two had more patience than anyone could be expected to muster.
In my opinion pitbulls are the best
