At first, I didn’t think this family was willing to try except for maybe the daughter but to see dad and mom all come together with her that was pretty special way to go guys just remember they need so walk them or at least throw the ball you need to tire them out, no matter what and you will have a well balanced dog. I love this guy. I’ve been paying attention to him since I don’t know how long now and helped so many dogs, including my neighbors all around me I never take credit for it I always give it to CesarMillan. I just do what he does but I listen to why and how he’s telling everybody what he’s doing and I study that.

This is why Ceaser is the GOAT. He's doing so much for dogs and people. We've lost our way about so many things, lost common sense. Ceaser helps dogs that are on their way to the needle, and he shows it. This is who you should be listening to about how to manage dogs and along the way you will learn a little about managing kids and yourself and other things. All of this carries over into most aspects of life.

I'm grateful for Cesar helping Luna, but her owner is exactly WHAT'S WRONG WITH PITBULL OWNERS. He saved us from ONE. Imagine all the other people out there who thinks they're cool and gets a puppy and then does ZERO to train it.... ZERO!!!! Then when it bites someone and they end up on Judge Judy, they deny, deny, deny that their dog did it. And parenting also comes to mind also..... But I'll stop with the dog owner. I don't want to belittle unnecessarily. ❤ Her parents are wonderful people!

@@maryherendeen2151 the bigger the dog the bigger the risk and it's the owners responsibility to have some basic manners. the pitbull btw, has been bred to be friendly towards humans so that's also important to keep in mind despite some people dispicing their looks. moreover, we die more to dog-transferred deseases than the actual dog bite so it's really important to have some basic training on your dog even if it's a very small one.

It's so nice to see how everyone grows. The family is so nice and sweet, so unsure in the beginning. I ask myself if one of the reasons is, they were tought early (in a bad way) to behave submissive instead of leading because of their skin colour and history. But with a little help from Cesar they became who they are: nice, sweet, self condident and strong leader who they ever have been inside. Dad said it would break his and his daughters heart to give the dog away. Mum says at the end "my dog" and you can feel the love. Now Luna ist the families dog as ever dreamed of. And Luna feels save because her family knows how to show her what's right and wrong and they do it. Calm and strong and with a good feeling of her emotional status. Hope we all learn it's better to offer help to grow instead of blaming someone who has obviously problems with handling his or her issues. Good job, Cesar, and thank you for sharing! I learn a lot. And if I ever get the dog I dreamed of when I was a child I will prepare myself in leadership before I bring him home! God bless!

Meaning, you don't let them sleep in your bed, feed them pizza, etc, and ice cream, you reward them with activities, a strict pack order, and anything that supports their physical and mental wellbeing. I am glad they called Cesar, whi has a profound knowledge of dogs.

As is often the case. It is the owners that need training. Not so much the dog (who, 'wanted' to do the right thing from the start). For one, they were treating her like a human (and expecting human responses). You could see the dog had a great character (ignoring other dogs barking etc). She just needed the most basic of guidance. To understand her role.
Good to see the owner bringing that guidance into the dogs life.

I think the wife was expecting her husband to say woe be unto the dog if it bit her, but he actually said he’d feel sad about his daughter getting rid of Luna. That’s your wife, dude. @@gundamzerostrike Any dog can be aggressive. Especially with dumb humans looking after them. The dog whisperer show features dozens of different dog breeds lots of whom have aggression issues, yet it's the pitbull who's singled out? If you want to talk about breeds that are prone to biting, how about every toy dog breed in existence? almost everyone's dog bite stories involve tiny breeds, but the only reason you're not calling for their immediate executions country wide is because they're too small to cause damage. I hope folk like you are never trusted to make decisions involving the lives of animals, because you'll just read some news story and make monday morning quarterback decision without any knowledge or experience in the area.

@@jarongreen5480 I DO blame the human(s). Today especially they are lazy, irresponsible, ignorant and ill informed. The animals would be better put down than in the hands of these humans! I rescued my baby at age 4 months from a dumb young 20-something dude who thought he would be cool owning a pit -- OK, it was my kid I rescued her from, but she still ended up with the "life of Riley" because of that confiscation. I had never had a pit before, so I did as much training as possible with her. She is now AKC-CGC certified for obedience and is currently the star class clown in the fourth level of agility training. She loves training and working on skills; it keeps her occupied, focused, and she loves the praise and attention when out in public. Also, the training and practice never stops; she passed the CGC exam in 2021, but we still practice obedience and occassionally slip into the advanced obedience class as a refresher. She's a true breed ambassador. BUT-- it took a lot of work on her part AND my part. In fact, all of the training was more directed towards ME and not really her. She looks to me for direction, so it's up to me to ensure she understands exactly what is expected. At first I didn't want to watch this video because of the negative connotations always associated with pitties ("dangerous, untamed, ravaging, raging" etc), but really this dog was begging for her human to guide her and be the pack leader. Well done, Luna's mom, and well done to Luna's grandparents. Those two had more patience than anyone could be expected to muster.
