This was such a wonderful video. I lived and worked in Germany from 1976 through 1979 and the only Christmas Market I visited was the one in Nuremburg. Your video makes me wish I had gone to more! Now I want to go back as a tourist and see them all!

There is a christmas market in Freiburg/Germany/Baden-Württemberg that is in the middle of nowhere in the forest. A shuttle bus brings you there and back. This is truly something else, because usually the markets are around the market place of any town. ^^
I have heard about that only after doing the Christmas Markets. That is so interesting! Sounds really magical and definitely would love to see and experience that.

Hi! I didn't think you had to return the cups? I watched videos where they said u could keep them as souvenir and you just wouldn't get deposit back. Has that changed?
Hi! 👋 Their very big on recycling and about the environment. To encourage guests to bring the glasses back to the vendors, they charge an extra €3 to €5 per glass as a deposit. So when you’re done with your drinks, either return them to get your deposit back or keep the mug as a souvenir. It was more of a joke, my comment on the video. But yes if you find you like the mug... you can definitely keep it. 😊💕Cheers!
