Yeh totally. We briefly did I think at the end. We ran out of time. I think she said silver usually goes with bright winter but she knows I wear mainly gold and said she thinks that suits me too.
I had my colours done about 8 years ago. Prior to it I wore so much khaki and beige as I thought it made my green eyes ‘pop’… turns out I am a Jewel Winter and it’s changed my life (no exaggeration 😂). I now live in bright jewel toned colours and it’s made shopping so much easier! Plus I get so many compliments and in group photos I really ‘pop’.
I just got mine done. I’m a deep winter, which includes a lot of colors people have told me over the years that I look good in! I haven’t started going thru my closet yet because I’m waiting on the swatches. But I do keep it in mind when buying new items! In fact, I just bought a bunch of new scrubs (nurse) and I made sure I got colors in my season!! I wanted moss so bad, but I didn’t do it!! 😂. I always said orange wasn’t my color. It was my kids school colors in HS and team colors for soccer for years. And sure enough. No oranges in my season, although I like rust. but even coral isn’t in there!!
This is a big enduring thing in Korea at the moment and their color analysis is very in depth and go through many more things to consider. Fascinating. I love watching Colour Analysis Studio on YT they are based in Melbourne, Australia.

Oooh yes this is THE video of 2024! Love a colour analysis 😍 So much fun watching. I had the same feeling as you; something was just off, and I wanted to wear something else than just Black. So when I had to pretty much re do my wardrobe after pregnancy I got my colours done, and I’m a true summer! So all the pale drapes you hated are my colours 😂 so interesting how they can make some people really drained, and others Shine!

Dear Lily, this was really interesting to watch. Me myself did a analysis two months ago and was also analyzed as a winter. But I am more between true and deep winter. In the beginning I was kind of sad because I am drawn to more autumnal colors, something less brighter and muted. But now I started to look for more deeper colors such as reds, pinks, greens and blues. There are still colors I really don't like and would never buy, such as teal. Black for example I do suit, but I don't feel good in it. Really happy that you are kind f the same palette like me so I can get really inspired by your style :)
I found the colour analysis really interesting and would be intrigued to see what season I’d be. I think I’d really struggle when out shopping to pick the right tones though, as there are such subtle differences between some of the colours and whether they are warm/cool tones (I appreciate the cards might help)!

I'm colour matched as a clear dominant Spring palette by a professional and suit very similar colours to you/contrasts but NOT black and pure white so I think that's the main difference. My analyst initially thought I would be a winter but wasn't once we started draping - It's really interesting.
I’ve got a similar colouring to you Lily, and Louise talking about a warm skin tone but a cool undertone makes so much sense. Lots of those colours are what I’m drawn too and look good on me but never would have said previously that I was a cool tone.
So interesting and I had predicted that you were a cool winter before the start of the video! I am similar skin tone with dark eyes, hair and moles but can (fake) tan well. I’m a few years older than you and have had more blond put in my hair and have had to go more of an ashy tone as warmth just does not suit me! How you were describing how you wanted to style your winter outfits was great to hear and is getting me excited for my winter wardrobe and palette too. I had mine colours done awhile ago and find it really helpful for finding a colour palette all works together after knowing the common denominators of that makes sense. I think you’ll enjoy having this info while you’re in the next phase of developing your style 😊.

What I loved was how it was all about what looks best not what you like personally, I’ve seen so many colour videos where it’s focussed on personal preference!
This is so interesting, I would say our coloring is very different (I’m quite pale with mousey hair died blonde) but we have basically the same results!
I’ve just turned 50, and have booked an appointment for a color analysis. I’m looking to edit my wardrobe (there are so many items that I never wear) and to focus on investing in quality items for a capsule wardrobe. I think having the knowledge of colors that suit me will increase my confidence and make me a better shopper. Thanks for another great video.

But I just wished you had talked less and let the expert give her unbiased opinion, it’s really hard to understand her real feedback when you’re jumping the gun and saying what you like and what you don’t like 😅 I’m sorry, I don’t mean it in a toxic way, but I was really interested in this and it is getting on my nerves 😂
