Those Solo are awesome. I love the design of it. I wish a company would pick up the battery and start making them again. I would ditch my Phantom and buy one. great mod keep them alive
I agree the Solo is a great aircraft. After making the GPS module change it's been a champ. I am still working on making improvements to the Solo battery. Thank you. God Bless.

Hi There, I have a couple bad 3DR solo battery that are in a bad shape. I am not good at soldering and wonder how much you will charge to have one made; so I can use it with Lipo battery.

I want to compliment you on your videos as I find them very informative. I was wondering though if you have a video that covers the installation of your mini toggle switch that replaces the factory power button on modded back? As I have to do the same and am not sure exactly how to hook it up. You're input would be greatly appreciated!
If you have created the Mod battery system from the Solo Battery you will get the alert that the battery is lower, because the BMS is remembering the last call that the battery was low. You need to charge the lipo battery on a separate charger, then plug it back on the BMS. What occur is that the BMS clears the memory and starts at 100% when you plug your lipo back into the BMS. I was planing on flying the Solo this week God willing, Then I could record a simple video. God Bless friend!
Did the mod,but however I'm not sure if my new battery has an issue or its a bms issue...the battery literally lasts for 2 mins then auto lands ...did the exact same thing with my original battery
@@rctechproflying1903 thanks for your reply!,yes all the lights light up showing as fully charged but the drone flies for literally less than 3 mins, the battery I got is brand new as well,as soon as it hits 29%(after 2 mins of flight ) it auto lands ,yet my battery still has like 50 %+ of life left

I plugged the LiPo battery into mine directly through negative and positive and now mine won't even fly

I'm not too sure but drone worship vlogs did say something about calibration but obviously he's only in this for the money so he wouldn't say..?

Sound like the BMS is holding last memory on the last battery you used. Are all the LED lights showing a full battery charge?
