Permission Set Groups in Salesforce

With permission set groups, administrators can assign a group of users to a single permission set group, which grants them access to all the permission sets included in that group. This simplifies the process of managing permissions for a large group of users, as it reduces the need to assign multiple permission sets to individual users.
In addition, permission set groups can be used to control access to specific features or functionalities within Salesforce, as administrators can assign permission sets with different levels of access to a particular permission set group. This allows for more granular control over the permissions granted to different groups of users.
it is possible to assign permission set groups in Salesforce for a limited time. Salesforce allows administrators to set an expiration date when assigning permission set groups to users.
This can be helpful in situations where a user needs temporary access to certain features or functionalities within Salesforce, such as during a project or campaign. Once the expiration date is reached, the permission set group will automatically be removed from the user's profile, revoking their access to the specified features or functionalities.
To assign a permission set group for a limited time, an administrator can select the permission set group they wish to assign, and then choose the start and end date for the assignment. This can be done either through the Salesforce user interface or through the Salesforce API.

Thank you for explaining what these are. I've been having a hard time understanding the difference and uses for profiles, roles, permission sets, and permission set groups, and the groups were the last thing I needed to clarify and you helped me understand them. Thank you!
