How is this only ranked #32?!? 4 Masters wins is by far one of the greatest achievements a bowler could ever do! I doubt this feat will ever be matched in my lifetime.
Hopefully Belmo will qualify for this year's USBC Masters TV Finals and win for a 5th time. Plus, he'll tie PDW and Earl Anthony for most major titles.
Jeff, while I don't care for Weber personally, his 5 US Open titles are indeed phenomenal. In fact, it is the one event where Weber always seemed to contend for the title, even when he did not win. All that I meant in my statement is that Belmo winning 4 Masters titles over a 5 year period shocked me by only being #32 on the list. Lists like these are highly subjective and would vary from person to person. I'm very interested to see what the remaining items are that the PBA felt were higher on this list.
I swear the announcers keep jinxing the bowlers. Announcer: Nothing has phased Michael today. (Michael Tang proceeds to leave 7 pin) Announcer: Belmo might be chasing something else here (Belmo leaves a 7 pin in the 8th frame)
Well, I slowed down the playback of Belmonte's shots and will do my best to mimic him next time bowling... tomorrow! It looks so easy when I watch him do it, and sometimes I get it just right. But consistency is the problem. I find it difficult to do the same thing every time... speed, release, and whatever else is involved. But it's fun trying. I can throw traditional, too. I like to mix it up.
RGano3. I understand. You're correct on the list. Same in almost any sport on the G.O.A.T. debates. Belmo reminds me of Tigers. He was above and beyond everyone else for a few years until they all started workouts like him. Belmo and his power was superior for a few years and still is. Some do the same release but not as versital on moving on the lane with different shapes. I believe in the end he will have more majors than anyone and will probably never be surpassed.
I disagree with your analogy of Belmonte. There is always someone out there that can be better. Belmo didn't make the finals in the masters this year. I'm rather surprised by the final bowlers and who won the tournament. I have made my prediction a while back ago that Belmo will not make it much past 40. He is already slowing down, which plays havoc with his style. I will be honest and say that I do not like the two handed style. I'll never forget Belmo beating Weber with two Brooklyns. I laughed my ass off when Weber threw his glasses down , picked them back up and said," I can't believe that I'm going to be beat by Brooklyns." I don't think that the two handed style is cheating. I think that it's just being lazy to increase rev rate by not using the thumb. Plus , since no thumb is used, a two handed bowler can switch direction of finger release and change the axis tilt in the ball. If a bowler is only allowed six balls, a two hander can have a possible twelve .
Jason Belmonte one of the all time greats he really is the best out there 😉 but won't be long before people before him will take over so Belmo is gonna enjoy his time 😄
Aine Lawler nobody is doing that anytime soon, Belmonte is the best bowler in the world currently. It’s gonna be a few years before someone will take him over .
Belmo's ball carries a lot of punchy revolutions from his precise follow through/release. That's how it can generate heaps of pin action and complete knockouts.
The noise coming off the GSX machines is really annoying. I prefer the A-2 machines because there quiet once the pins are reloaded unlike the GSX which always has pins circulating due to the machines design. Give me an A-2 running at model A speed with the round runbber installed on the pinwheel to reduce noise. Or with the newer plastic pinwheel. The GSX while an interesting design Brunswick had to agree to continue production in Germany so what did Brunswick get for buying the design? Just a machine that will set different pins when called on with way too much plastic in its construction. Let's see how the GS series works in 50 years.
ok i know this is about Jason and Mike but in the back there is a guy that is wearing a Wild Island Coconut Bowl shirt and it’s not much but i work there and i just kind of love it 😁
Michael Tang isn't that bad he might be good in the future but right now he need to not let the ball skip on the ground because that's why it doesn't cure good but he's good
He is trying to loft the ball over the early part of the lane where oil has gotten removed. Most pro bowlers utilize the loft when it is the best option that won't make you change equipment mid game or something
The lanes are oiled too much. That's why both were hitting the pocket lightly. The difference is belmo has speed and revs to make the pins do his bidding.
I notice the view counts sky rockets when Belmo is in a PBA video. He's definitely the Michael Jordan of bowling.
Belmonte earns the perfect game in one launch.
Tremendous rev's + speed = crushing explosion. Such a pleasure to watch. Greetings from Downunder.

Don't know why you say that. Pete Weber has won 5 U.S. Opens and that oil pattern is a lot tougher.

5 US Opens is a lot more impressive.
You hit it head on. Can't agree more.
It's so cool that one day when I have kids I can tell that I watched someone make history
at 8:58, Mike Fagan... I wish I could see him play again on TV.

Belmo's most dominating win in his career.
Actually Michael bowls pretty good
Ivan Ngai they all do. They're pros! Except that one time for Tom Daugherty.
For his age bowling in the masters with top players and still getting consistent scores. He is very impressive
Rip Michael Tang... Hard to beat a guy that's perfect through 7 frames tho
hes....dead???
Nezuko Vang no he’s saying it’s hard as hell to beat an opponent that bowls that good.
F in the chat *
Poor Michael Tang is going to be berated by his mother for the rest of his life for being just A+ and not A++. Asian tiger moms are real.

Wing To Lau yea , if he misses some, the other fallen pins will make sure no pin keeps standing
Tang almost to be the first Asia player to win the masters
He's American with Asian descent
@@jaredbowers1292 He wasn't commenting on nationality. Asian isn't a nationality in case you don't know. It's an ethnicity. 😑
I'm excited for my special Olympics bowling next month
Hahaha 😂
3:00 That's the 5 pin which gets the 10 pin
I want Jason play bowling king, the best bowling game in the word.I think Jason is very good in bowling king🎳
Jason has his own game that is definitely better than bowling king!
9:05 mike fegan in the back! One of My top 3 bowlers of all time.
Jason belmonte has won the USBC masters for 4 out of 5 times

What a match I’d love to get into bowling again my personal best 237
14:19 Minecraft Villager
🤣🤣🤣
And he's not done yet, the way he's going, he could win the masters a few more times in his career.
Tip, Don't put the score the description where you can spoil it. (put it further down so you can't see it on accident)
I mean the title gives it away.
ohhhh i wish i could play against belmonte as well
anyone else see the guy with the red sox shirt but a dodgers hat?
Yep
Hahah
hes from the future. letting us know its going to be dodgers vs red sox in the world series this year. And it happened
ok i know this is about Jason and Mike but in the back there is a guy that is wearing a Wild Island Coconut Bowl shirt and it’s not much but i work there and i just kind of love it 😁
I saw these two old guys bowling at my bottling ally that were more consistent than tang was and I was scared
Hudson Fortunato 😂😂
Tang the urethane king
Those revs really help belmo not be totally consistent, so gauranteed if someone is not consistent they will lose to belmo....
Does anyone know What ball that is that Belmont throws for the very last strike?
Matt Kulesza that’s his signature spare ball
3:41 he says "10 pin is gonna stay" but it was the seven pin
At 12:56 and 17:37 MIKE FAGAN
David Lopez he still rolls it so damn good!
Fagan looks like G-Easy.

I swear belmo always looks cooked
Yes he does,He needs to clean up his beard, its ok just clean it up.And hes the best why not look the part?
U realize that everyone of Belmontes shots were coming in light which means he got pretty lucky not saying he’s bad tho
whats the song they use?
Why did i want micheal to win this?
5000 SUBSCRIBERS CHALLENGE because he is the underdog
Because Belmonte sucks because he is a two handed bowler and two handed bowlers have no real skill on the lanes
