I don't bowl anymore but it's Very cool to see the new generation of proprietors in the industry. If I'm ever in Las Vegas I will for sure see this place. Thanks for showing Simo's place and best wishes to him on its future success!
I know right man it’s cool to see the guys behind the scenes doing their everyday thing. I picked up bowling two years ago seriously. Almost about to break 200
DOPE. Simo is a cool dude and I was lucky enough to take a behind the scenes tour of the alley and he has definitely put a lot of time and effort into the Nerd. Awesome vid!
I'm so pumped! Vegas is my home town so I'm definitely going to make sure to send bodies this way. I'll have to check it when I visit but I can still sell people on it!
Wow! This place is much better than Dave & Busters cause of the bowling and the cinema. Awesome! Next time I travel to Vegas I am going to visit it. PS. please, warn us about the content before. I thought it was PG, but with that thing, I won't share this video with my son 🤣😂
Welcome to Vegas guys. I have been wanting to check out that place and put them on my Explore Vegas episode. If "Simo" is reading comments. PS. I am a bowler too, not pro too. good stuff guys.
I've got some friends going to Vegas this weekend and told them to stop by The Nerd Bar. I think they will enjoy it. Good luck this weekend at the Masters tournament.
silver projector screens are a hybrid of white and gray screens which shows a brighter picture overall (like a white) but also has a higher contrast for deeper darks (like a gray)
WOW THAT IS IS SICK!!! YES, I was yelling...lol, so this is in Vega$!!! Darn we just moved from there 3 years ago in July! I just starting bowling again seriously when we moved to the South East...I would go to Red Rock to bowl with my kids, but now I'm back into it 1000% Storm and Roto Grip. So much change and Tang is in Vegas as well...WOW! Great Stuff...Wish we still lived there...for the golf and now the bowling! *Brad and Kyle I might be joining you membership! ;)
Such a super cool alley! Definitely need to check it out when I'm in Vegas for Nationals. Why the hell do they have that instead of a mechanical bull? LOL
I'm guessing they bowled but didn't include it in the video package. In once scene, Brad still has a tape strip on his thumb. I doubt he wore that over from another bowling center.
I guess they will have a whole video coming up, or even multiple videos recorded. Looks like they had a major setup with lights and cameras on the lanes.
Kyle, in the video you said your shoulder is messed up. In another video I saw you put KT tape on your shoulder. By chance, what’s your shoulder problem? I have tendinitis in both of my shoulders that’s making bowling very difficult. I wish I could find something to quickly fix the issue. Simo, congrats on your gig at The Nerd. Looks like a great place.
I'm not sure how he got a hold of that vintage movie projector. I haven't worked in the movie theater for nearly 3 years, but I remember seeing one or two of those old sets taking up space in our projector room. That probably wasn't cheap to get either.
For the 100th sub episode you guys should have a house doubles to see who is the best doubles team in the house. Then hold a singles to see who is the best bowler in the house. I'm also up for the bohn brothers versus the tang brothers. Pretty entertaining line up.
7:50 I think I know what it is Simo. It's SUPER SMASH BROTHEEEEEEEEEEEEEERS. Awesome bowling center wish I could go to Vegs to practice there some day.
I'm old school and that arcade needs some 80's and 90's pinball machines! The Adaams Family, Indiana Jones, Terminator to name a few. Modern pinballs aren't bad either. Just not made like tanks like the 80's and 90's.
Two years ago, my non-drunk self and four drunk buddies stumbled into the Nerd around 2:00 AM one random weeknight. The place was dark and dank and not at all inviting. The bartender (the only guy working) said that bowling was free with a one-drink purchase. However, only 2 of the 8 lanes were even working and the lane we took had two balls jammed in the return (when we threw a ball, a different one would get billiarded out). The other lanes had various manner of "stuff" on them... lighting fixtures, chairs, etc. There were no scoring units. So we played a game... you must use a ball that is on the rack and in tennis shoes, put $1 a frame into a pot, first one to mark wins it. I think the pot got to $40. We decided to do it again, everyone put up a buck, the same guy bowled first, struck, then walked out the door. Even when we were at The Nerd, I didn't know if there was any way to make the bowling respectable... only 8 working lanes (at one time there were 12) and it was buried on the top floor of Neonopolis (if you don't know where that is or have walked past it and kept walking... well, that's the issue). So I am very glad that Simonson and the owners were able to make something of the place. Don't know if I'll be bothered to stop by next month, but its great that bowling has survived the necessary rehab.
I wish Simo could show the Back Area cause No Bowling Center Tour ends without a view from the Back Area and UA-cam Pinsetter Nerds (not mechanics) like me love the Pinsetters and the look of the Back Area.
Pretty cool bowling alley! There should be more like those to attract more ppl into the alley and possibly get them to join a league Also, I thought I’ve heard Simo bowled out of North Tx
Well still an amazing vlog as usual.. but technically you guys were just strolling around, and not bowling in there (except if you did but not show it in the video) xD

Yes. Leonardo blue, Donatello purple, Raphael red and Michelangelo orange
What a cool alley Simo has.
That has to be one of the coolest alleys I've ever seen!😎
10:24
Can confirm, it's a sound you'll never forget
DAMN....RIGHT. tis a soothing sound.
Agreed!!! I opened the alley while I was in college. 16 lanes setting and dropping at one time from pure silence. Priceless!!!
As somebody who worked in a center for 20 + years I have to agree it is a satisfying sound.
Wow what an amazing place! Nerd stuff AND bowling! Totally worth taking a few vacation days to visit.
I'm so pumped! Vegas is my home town so I'm definitely going to make sure to send bodies this way. I'll have to check it when I visit but I can still sell people on it!
I swear I heard a million voices suddenly cry out “Michelangelo!” at once. Love the video. Great job guys!
Glad to see that this bar is getting some love. This bar was super run down a couple years back.
I love that sound when I was working at the bowling alley at the end of the night
$10 to get on... but FREE to get off! 😆 Lol
I'm so old. This is nostalgia to these guys. This was my childhood.
My bowling house still has a luster king out for use.
The only ball to put in a lustre king is a plastic spare ball.
We will be there the 2nd weekend in June will come check out it Simo! Cool place!
Wow! This place is much better than Dave & Busters cause of the bowling and the cinema. Awesome! Next time I travel to Vegas I am going to visit it.
PS. please, warn us about the content before. I thought it was PG, but with that thing, I won't share this video with my son 🤣😂
I’ve been to a Dave & busters with like 6 lanes! But I have to agree with you
Well, I used to be able to watch Brad and Kyle on the TV upstairs. 😂
Welcome to Vegas guys. I have been wanting to check out that place and put them on my Explore Vegas episode. If "Simo" is reading comments. PS. I am a bowler too, not pro too. good stuff guys.
Wow I need to make a trip back to Vegas and check out the Nerd and Hi Life Lanes!
I think I will check it out when I bowl tournaments for the USBC Opens in Vegas.
I've got some friends going to Vegas this weekend and told them to stop by The Nerd Bar. I think they will enjoy it. Good luck this weekend at the Masters tournament.

LOVE YOU GUYS!!
This is e coolest episode I’ve seen!
The coolest
6/10/24 - watching this one for the 4th time. This still looks like a cool place to visit. I went to a Jillian's in Boston like 20 years ago.
WOW THAT IS IS SICK!!! YES, I was yelling...lol, so this is in Vega$!!! Darn we just moved from there 3 years ago in July! When you see Timmy Mack, say WE ARE... We went to Penn State together...in the Paterno era!
Such a super cool alley! Definitely need to check it out when I'm in Vegas for Nationals. Why the hell do they have that instead of a mechanical bull? LOL
Pretty sure it used to be home to a regular drag show.
Cool place. Might have to drop in while I'm at nationals. Not to split hairs, but the title says "We went and bowled" - I didn't see you bowling.
I'm guessing they bowled but didn't include it in the video package. In once scene, Brad still has a tape strip on his thumb. I doubt he wore that over from another bowling center.

@@7kakan D Tang films here all the time as well
Loved the video but wished the music was a bit softer. Simo speaks so softly and it wasn’t the easiest to hear him.
I’ll check it out when I bowl Nationals the last weekend in June!!
If I ever make it to Las Vegas, I'm definitely going to check out The Nerd.
gonna check this place out when i go to nationals.
Love the new intro!!

Simo, congrats on your gig at The Nerd. Looks like a great place.
Whenever I want to go to Las Vegas for the first time, I might as well check it out.

Metal slug is awesome brad!

I just hit the Nerd this past weekend lmao. Place was jumpin
Omg Jillians!! The place I got my first ever turkey while bowling 😂😂😂
Work across the street from here. Then COVID began and WFH, but excited to get down here.
Keven Williams is one of my favorites from Springfield Missouri and Spencer Robarge
You guys need to add Simo to The House!
7:50 I think I know what it is Simo. It's SUPER SMASH BROTHEEEEEEEEEEEEEERS. Awesome bowling center wish I could go to Vegs to practice there some day.
Nice place. I will definitely stop by when I'm in Vagas
Was there in 2018. Looks waaaay different.

Very Cool
That was awesome
Nice place!
Love the Br Ba stuff, man.
Best arcade game I grew up playing at bowling alleys was CarnEvil
Hey Brad and Kyle how are you guys doing today?
I wish Simo could show the Back Area cause No Bowling Center Tour ends without a view from the Back Area and UA-cam Pinsetter Nerds (not mechanics) like me love the Pinsetters and the look of the Back Area.
I’ll be in Vegas in may for nationals I hope I can swing by the nerd
Is this place on Fairmont Street in Vegas?
Interesting place, definitely unique. But guys, you GOTTA remix the audio on here. Could hardly hear a thing that was said.
at the very least, turn it down a bit.
Clear as a bell to me.
Man, this place is awesome. Too bad it's so far away.

6:10 I bet the girls ride it better than the guys 😂😳
Pretty cool bowling alley! There should be more like those to attract more ppl into the alley and possibly get them to join a league
Also, I thought I’ve heard Simo bowled out of North Tx

I worked at Jillians in Indianapolis. Lol bowling lanes were shorter. Lmao
I'd lovevto bowl and hangout there
Well my in-laws live in Vegas so I might just have to take a trip out there to see them.... and then stop by the bowling alley
Let’s make this happen The Bohn brothers vs brad and Kyle vs The Tang brothers vs Wesley Low and a friend in a UA-cam bowlers Tournament......
Where this at? I could use a cool 30k, I mean it’s right by the front door.
Vegas!
Well still an amazing vlog as usual.. but technically you guys were just strolling around, and not bowling in there (except if you did but not show it in the video) xD

Mechanical ßenis. That’s all you need for me to come and stay. Not just the bowling.
Not Impressed by this place honestly. Lifelong Vegas resident and we won’t go here. Way too many great places in town
