Thanks for watching👍🏻
Hi LJ.
Kuala Lumpur is pretty much a melting pot of culture. She's not wrong to say it's mainly a food haven.
Stuff that you'd be interested in might be the Petronas Towers & Aquaria (even if just for a look see, especially the park just behind the towers), Central Market for the traditional/cultural themed shopping (look up batik), Batu Caves (beware the monkeys) for the culture.
You could stroll around Low Yatt plaza if you're looking for gadgets. Just don't acknowledge the hordes of "hello sir, what you looking for? Handphone, laptop, camera?" sales folks. It gets tiring after a while.
And Bukit Bintang (which is where Low Yatt is at) to watch the buskers at night.
Loads of shopping malls (Pavilion, Suria KLCC by the Petronas Towers, Starhill, Mid Valley, etc). It's almost like another Singapore in that sense.
Also, use GRAB to get around, as opposed to the local cab service which is typically the red and white cabs that (claim to, falsely) go by the meter (they never do). Even us locals don't use the cabs, we mainly use GRAB.
If you're into it, head to Sifu in the Bangsar area (near Brickfields) for a legit foot reflexology. I'd highly recommend that place.
Bangsar's also the go to drinking hub near to where you're at.
Sadly, alcohol aint as cheap as you might be used to due to tax reasons.
Having said that, there are loads of good bars in the city, depending on whether you like beer bars, speakeasy bars, night clubs, etc.
Also, see if you're able to experience "pasar malam", directly translated to mean "night market".
Have fun, stay safe.
Hi LJ 🖐🖐
Having fun watching as is you are doing the traveling I'm sure 😉
KUALA LUMPUR is NOT a POORER alternative to places like SINGAPORE and BANGKOK...absolutely NOT!! She is a VERY large city, at her most sheltering some 5 000 000 citizens or so, AND she is a very multicultural and colourful city!! Do I miss KUALA LUMPUR?? There are NO other answers to that question than...YES, indeed!! She is really something to long for...Jacob Hansen, Scandinavia...
I am not sure who recommended you to jalan petaling. Ain't a good place for me coz too many migrants selling stuff. I would hv recommended places of nature. Like kanching waterfall , bird park, kemensah river bbq restaurant, eco park, maybe batu caves but may not be very clean though.
Great video
Hi LJ
Please come to Central I City, Shah Alam. Would love to show you around I City...the city of lights. I'll be free in about two weeks
Hey LJ I like this it's a bit different but what a bell end that bangledeshi guy was near the tattoo shop, not suprised you didn't hang around long! I think you will get along in Vietnam better if you can pick up some basic lingo. Like someone else said I think your due a trip to PH, that's my Asian country of choice, I would love to see you spend some time there buddy
At the end of day people dont like the camera in there face
Do you look on TripAdvisor's list of things to do to get an idea of popular place to visit? It's a good place to start.
It is home made soy milk and taufu fah.
I love soya milk. Glad you like it😊
You can visit the bird park. Biggest in the world
Sad walk around....
I couldn't understand why so few comments but now I see that you posted this video on your second channel. Any reasons why?

You will learn a lot of the culture from farhan.!fascinating insights. He will let you video at times.,saw a huge drug deal and then bust go down when I was with him. Wouldn’t have thought anything was happening at first but he gave us a rundown of what was happening.
Why do you want to find genuine things on the street....kinda odd there?? People have their preference...
