Great video Simon! A real pleasure to watch another informative video from a true professional. Loving the Japanese secateurs mate, such a simple design and never a let down would highly recommend them and also not forgetting the felco no2 to anyone.
Matthew Younge a man who knows his secateurs. I love them, particularly the clip on them....glad you like the vid and thanks for taking the time to comment, it's appreciated
Hi mate. Great video. Stunning plants for this time of the year. You just can't go wrong with Hellebores. Good advice to mate. I did a video this week about Hellebores to like a quick general plant of the month talk. Should be able to post it up on my channel this weekend. Good stuff mate 👍
West Country Garden Pro I did! 😀. Nice people. My largest quote to date! I'm making 4 raised veg beds for them. Filling them too. Also i quoted for pruning 10 trees and shrubs. Waiting to see on that one.
Joseph McCole hey good for you Joe! Happy for you! It's a big confidence boost when they accept the price you put together (and if you're like me agonise over). Now follow it through and do a good job for them and word will spread 👌
I have planted new hellebores last year and they have come up better than I expected. When would you suggest a good time to cut back last year's plant leaves. Thanks John
Great Video Simon - absolutely with you on GW - whether it's Monty or his team to blame for some of the poor or out of date advice. Text book gardening ? or possibly google gardening
good info Simon very true😁😁 hey...do you think you could spare an hr or two and come and do MY filming 🤣🤣🤣looking very professional mate. enjoyed that 👍👍
Hi Laurie. Yes the white flowers at the start are all snowdrops. They grow from bulbs and the most common one you can buy is Galanthus nivalis (if you are looking to add some to your garden)
Simon, I do notice that you don't wear gloves and knee protection!!! I used to do the same when first starting out, but 99 percent of the time gloves are on varying in type. Good video also. Trust you are working steadily, and of course earning💸💸👍. Regards Jim from J.S.G.S🚛🌳
Jim Shanks its just for the cameras Jim! I use a knee pad all the time...gloves 50% of the time as often they just get in the way. Thanks for commenting and yes earning well. Simon

So the white flowers in the beginning are "Snow drops"?? I thought I heard you say that. or are they a kind of Hellebore too? Both are awesome.

I’ll do just that tomorrow thanks look much better.
I never prune mine and they are fine,
I have never pruned mine either but I will this year. It does show off the flowers which tend to be hidden in the foliage.
Awful rough with your snowdrops!
