For what I read around seems that laptop got a Serial Ata 600 interface for SSD, not NVMe
Acer Swift SF114-32 notebook configuration with SATA attachment is not compatible with M.2 3D NAND PCIe NVMe SSD this video invites users to buy a very expensive kit that cannot be installed and, above all, could never work
Acer swift SF214-32 does not support SSD 3D NAND NVMe PCIe M.2 The author of this post invites people to buy this kit in a completely deceptive and false way
The entire Acer Swift 1 series is not compatible with M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD.
Acer Swift 1 is only compatible with M.2 Sata SSD
Incorrect, because I have a SF114-32-P4YN and the initial 128GB-SSD is a PCIe-Version.
Hello,
Are you sure it works? could you send a screenshot of the first page of the bios after installing this SSD?
I also updated the bios to version 1.14 and installed two different M.2 NVMe SSDs but they are not detected
NVme didn't fit mine too = so had also to use slower M2 SATA Western digital disk....
Note the p1 won't detect - Has to be a P5 and the external USB caddy is NOT needed for any reason
Spiegati meglio per favore, Explain yourself better please
@@ItsMe-qw7lq Works M.2 with Sata attackThis video is fake
Don't say nonsense acer swift sf114-32 has no PCIe attack and Nvme just has sata attack so it doesn't even work with P5
What's the purpose of the foil tape on the heatsink? I've always wondered if this was necessary to replace if I ever replaced the heatsink/thermal paste
I report that this video serves only to make FIDECO M.2 NVME SSD Adapter, USB 3.1, Gen 2 External Case plus Crucial P1 SSD 3D NAND, NVMe, PCIe, M.2
good brother
Can you upgrade the RAM on this laptop - I ask because Curry'sa sent me the wrong laptop - but to be honest I quite like this one.
This Notebook got RAM soldered to motherboard
So it is not possible to replace it with 8gb ram?
@@lava5908 Mine had 8gb soldered in. BUT the cpu is rubbish and weak and struggled with the simplest games. I love the Spintop hidden object games and it struggled a bit with those, which my old Macbook dual core had no trouble with. A Pentium quad, and I'd never EVER buy a laptop with one of those again. I sent it back - STILL waiting for my refund.
hello friend, I tried to put a ssd adata sx8200 and it didn't work on my acer swift 1, same model as yours, you know what it can be?
Update bios.
@@velocypedist I put it in bios 1.14 and it still didn't work
@@CaiqueMarquess P5!
@@seahippies Don't say unseeded things, it can never work
ACER Swift 1 SF114-34-P2
