The only thing that tipped me off were the photographs of Bismarck and Prinz eugen in the 2D wiew of the "designated units": all other ships have photographs of the actual game, whereas you fitted what looks like paintings of the two ships. Taht and the lack of the binocule when you zoom in on the enemy ships. other than that, this mod is simply mind blowing. Sir, you should be the man behind an eventual Battlestations 3.

But when being towed to Kwajalein Atoll she suffered a leak and sank in shallow waters..where she remains today. Been more fitting if moored along the East coast as a war prize instead of ending up being a radioactive scrap of metal.

I played the crap out of this game on XBox 360. I still came back to it and played the Island Capture mode alone all the way up until last spring. I used my saved money, bought a PC, and then downloaded World of Warships. There's no comparison to the two games, although I would love to see some of the game modes from Pacific in WoW.
+THE APOKYKLOPS Island capture against the AI is my favorite mode. I usually took the time and point limit off. First thibg you do is rush out with landing craft and capture as much as yoi can as far forward as you can. After that, it's a slugfest to take their base.
Then again, so is the Renown class in the base game but its still classified as a BB. They could get away with it with the Kongo class cause they were reclassified after modernisation.

Well first things first, The HMS Prince of Wales did not sink in this battle. 2nd thing is the HMS Hood blew up instead of sinking full on. The Prince of Wales was badly damaged in the real battle retreated and joined up with the HMS Norfolk and Suffolk. The Bismarck got 3 hits from the Prince of Whales, and one of them hit the fuel tanks. So then, Bismarck continued with only 22 knots. Bismarck finally sunk when she was only going 10 knots ahead. She was sunk by lots of destroyers and cruisers. Bismarck was also sunk by the HMS King George V , HMS Rodney, HMS Suffolk and much more. The mighty BB Bismarck was sunk by the hands of the Royal Navy. Bismarck was a pretty looking ship though. :D

TurKlack Don't get me wrong, I love the Bismarck, she was an awesome ship. If the Yamato and Bismarck were in the same weight class as one another I would give Bismarck the advantage to her more accurate guns. But here is the problem, The maximum range of the Bismarck's 15inch guns is around 22 miles. The Yamato's 18.1inchers was about 25-26 miles. So the Yamato can start engaging before the Bismarck. Further more at range the Yamato is "Immune" to the 15inch guns. This is called the zone of immunity. The Bismarck would have to close in well within the range of the Yamato to actualy score some effective hits (around 15 miles or so). That is about a 10 mile gap (give or take a mile or two) from when the Yamato starts shooting untill the Bismarck could have any real effect of the Yamato. Thats a long time to be under fire and plenty long enough for the Yamato to get her sights dialed in. Plus the Yamato sights were not all that bad. There was one case where she straddled a US war ship from 26000 yds (14.7 miles) on the first salvo and scoring one hit. I'm sorry to say but Bismarck can't win this one. Now if you pitted an Iowa with the Yamato that would be a little different seeing the Iowa has similar gun range, equal penetration and better fire control that the Yamato. But as for Japenese ships a good battle for the Bismarck would be a Fuso Class.
Imagine if their was a naval battle where you had to face German ships Italian ships and Japanese ships all in the same day. And the battle lasts 44 hours.

well the Prince Of Wales Blew up into parts in this version i queses it because it was sunk first so it was not made for it to happen to the second 2 cause Hood sank like Prince Of Wales sank historically Prince rolled to its side when Hood blew into 2 parts in surface and into 3 under water 1 bow, 1 amidships and the other one in the stern.
daffyvip It Splutted into parts as u said,becuase of large explosion in ship ,a single Bismarck shell (I think first shell of bismarck aimed on hood ) hit maybe the engines or the storage of its highly explosive shells and all shells blew giving a huge explosion splitting it into pieces...bad luck to hood that day
Naval warfare in the atlantic was far inferior to the pacific. The british had such a trouble facing against a single german battleship, let alone a carrier fleet. They couldn't use their carriers and aircraft efficiently, they didn't use torpedoes and their naval guns were inferior. The USN would sink a hundred bismarcks before they were able to get a shot, with their fast carrier tasks forces. The War in the Pacific was in a far higher level, with the relentless carrier battles.

Shame we didn't see a proper fight with Bismark. It just blew up Hood then paddled around crippled until it sank.
The next battlestations should be a worldwide game, althouh naval war wasn't as big in the atlantic as it was in the pacific, it would still be cool.

He used automatic reloader its a perk (naval supply) that is used in this game.

How illogical. The Germans wanted to enter the Atlantic without being sighted or intercepted, it's just unlogical that they want to wait for the enemy.
Graustreif Brombeerkralle It is a mod man. Plus used sound clips from the game as well so he did not have a lot to work with t make it fully realistic.
I did not say it's a bad mod or that it's completely unrealistic. He did a respectable job. That was just a thing that entered my mind when I heard the Bismarck's crew saying that.

that was not how hood sank the hood blew up into two parts
well the Prince Of Wales Blew up into parts in this version i queses it because it was sunk first so it was not made for it to happen to the second 2 cause Hood sank like Prince Of Wales sank historically Prince rolled to its side when Hood blew into 2 parts in surface and into 3 under water 1 bow, 1 amidships and the other one in the stern.
daffyvip It Splutted into parts as u said,becuase of large explosion in ship ,a single Bismarck shell (I think first shell of bismarck aimed on hood ) hit maybe the engines or the storage of its highly explosive shells and all shells blew giving a huge explosion splitting it into pieces...bad luck to hood that day

Naval warfare in the atlantic was far inferior to the pacific. The british had such a trouble facing against a single german battleship, let alone a carrier fleet. They couldn't use their carriers and aircraft efficiently, they didn't use torpedoes and their naval guns were inferior. The USN would sink a hundred bismarcks before they were able to get a shot, with their fast carrier tasks forces. The War in the Pacific was in a far higher level, with the relentless carrier battles.
