Hi guys I love your travel blog, I’ve been to Khwai on quite a few occasions staying in luxury and camping. Our last visit also included Mag 2 campsite Magotho and we also had a very close encounter with the Lions one morning in fact it was pure luck that we didn’t walk straight into them as it happened we had to face down 6 lionesses from 20 meters before we could get into the car. Being U.K. based it’s amazing to see your travel itinerary and you have given us a lot of places to stay. Many thanks Steve & Julie.
Another dope video.. I am usually team Land Rover, and I'm savin up to buy a LR3 to send to Zim 🇿🇼 for overlanding but ur Land Cruiser is makin me think twice lol..
YoungHils VLOG the LR3 is fantastic!I’m not biased towards one brand, I love both the LR Discoveries and the Toyota’s, they are all fantastic, it just comes down to personal preference 🙌🙌

The road isn’t too rough, just not suitable for a 4x2 vehicle. It’s just about taking it slow and not crossing water that looks to deep, let tyre pressure down and you will be fine, and most important enjoy!

You say the road is rough. So how can a non off road driver like me handle it? I will be at Magotho for 2 nighs on 25th and 26th June 2020/
The road isn’t too rough, just not suitable for a 4x2 vehicle. It’s just about taking it slow and not crossing water that looks to deep, let tyre pressure down and you will be fine, and most important enjoy!
You dont need any advanced 4x4 driving skill, let pressure down and engage 4H as soon as you leave the paved road, you ll be fine
