Edward I'm stuck now at work in Iraq for way longer than my usual rotations. I have time to consume lotsa UA-cam videos (overlanding & adventure biking) by various Tubers. Your videos are of the best. Great story telling, nice blend of stills & actions, awesome choice of vistas, superb editing skills and, appropriate and varied choice of music to go with the footage to help set the scene and, importantly, not drowning out natural sounds with music or commentary track. Your commentary is on point, sincere and, now waffle. Great job. :-)
Thank you so much Sean for the message and for the kind words! I really appreciate the support on the channel! And also really glad you enjoy the edits 🙌
EPIC episode. This is a bucket list trip, and you haven't fully experienced the CKGR if you haven't traveled the full length of it. WOW, what a trip. Looking forward to the upcoming episodes
Superb video! You got it all right. Fantastic place on Earth. Thank you and keep up the good work! Greetings from Sweden and the Swedish Expedition Society.
I've watched many of your adventure footages.. They are so epic ❤❤they've really lifted my desire for adventure 😋I hope to go on an adventure trip soon
What an adventure and an episode that does the #CKGR true justice. Well done mate and thanks for this episode. Look forward to future adventures and new episodes.
Feeling inspired to visit CK after that vid. Excited. PS: I think it is now safe to assume you love your coffee and good coffee prepared correctly. Would love a vid on your bean selection, the Jetboil, Aeropress and even the Stanley flask and why you chose what you did. I really miss a good coffee while traveling, but clearly I don’t have to. Shot, Ed!
Hello Ed you have new friends here from the U.K James and Ellie. we’ve been subscribed for two weeks watched loads of yours and the other guys videos what you do is Epic! All them amazing Animals you get to see is unreal we love wildlife we came across all of yours channel as we are supposed to fly to Johannesburg today for our Safari gutted! But we can live our adventures through your videos cannot wait to see more content from you guys. Hope your well stay safe and hope your having an awesome weekend. Thanks 👍🏼
Thank you so much!🙏 I really appreciate the support on the channel and for watching the videos! I’m so sorry to hear that your trip has been cancelled, I hope things open up soon so that we can all start traveling again soon 🙌 keep well!
As a suggestion, why don’t you frequently give us the dates of your travel and also a map of where you are? The campsites would also be handy, number etc.
Hi Ed, Amazing Video, what Tyre pressure do you put on your fully loaded Trailer? and the front wheel of the car and wheels at the back? Is CKGR doable with a stock standard Tyres of a new Toyota Hilux Revo?
Hey mate! Thank you so much! I run 2.4 bar in the fully loaded trailer on tar and as soon as I hit the dirt I lower it to 1.3 bar. I can go down to 0.6 if I really have to 🙌 on the vehicle I run 3 bar at the front and 3.5 at the back fully loaded 🙌 you could do it with the standard tyres, I had amazing tyres and still lost one because I got unlucky but I would recommend getting some good all terrain tyres if you can. But don’t let the stock tyres stop you from exploring the magic that is the CKGR
Awesome content Ed. How about a video on the camera equipment you use to create the content? Which action cams, lenses etc. Can't wait for the other episodes. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much! 🙌 there will definitely be a video coming up with that included 🙌 I plan on getting a couple of new things so when the set is complete I will compile a video, thanks for the input and for watching, I really appreciate it🙌
Great video Edward. What happened to that Desert Wolf trailer from your Kruger park video? Those were legendary trailers when they came out in the late 90's.
Hi Edward, are you guys allowed out of the vehicles, if you are not camping, ?? We used to Etosha, Kgalagadi and Kruger Wildtuin, not allowed leaving the vehicle
Hey! So in the places you have mentioned they have fences around the campsites whereas these are unfenced. You used to be allowed out of your vehicle but there is still no clarity on the rules in the recent changes. Even if you are allowed out then it’s always advised to stay close to the vehicle and to be aware and all times and enjoy the freedom that is Botswana! 🙌🇧🇼
Wow what is their more to say Edward epic
Dankie Shaun!
