@@SaruverseGaming All you have to do to get the true ending (aka the secret ending) is beat every chapter's secret area and then go to the Great Pagoda area in chapter 3. Just look up a guide how to get there, it'd be faster than me explaining.
The meaning of chapter 3 story/animation The Turtle is the incarnation of the Yellow-browed ancestor, while the other character, Jin Chanzi, is the previous incarnation of Sun Wukongs master, Tang Sanzang. This story is essentially a debate between the theories of inherent goodness and inherent evil, with the Yellow-browed ancestor siding with the latter. To proved his point, he incarnates as the Turtle Demon, constantly tempting humans with greed and conducting a social experiment to validate his point. While many stories center around the theme of inherent human evil, the ending of this story was rewritten and reversed by a single line from Jin Chanzi. The Giant turtle demob, who shoots the arrow first and then draws the target, starts with the intention of awakening greed in people's hearts. As a result, he only encounters greed, making him seemingly unbeatable. However, this approach renders the debate meaningless.
