The Doux had a 50% off their products I ordered the whole press play line and added the 808 Base Gel and Dear Mama Milk paid $70 and I can't wait until it arrives so I can do my silk press at home. After seeing your review I am excited to try them on my hair.
Yessss 🙌🏾 I'm so glad you enjoyed this review, I really want to hear how you like it! I shopped the sale too!! I ALMOST missed it but so glad I was able to pick up some items. I got 808 Base Gel and a few other things. I can't wait to get them to review them as well!
I love this line and always get excellent results! My hair is extremely high porosity, so I don't even bother wearing my hair straight on humid days, so I can't speak on how well this line does in very high humidity, but since my hair gets poofy on even "regular" days, I have noticed a positive difference when using this line. Side note: I use a more "cleansing" shampoo before the Press Rewind Shampoo, and I use the Salerm21 leave-in in conjunction with the Just Glaze to style (roller set and then flat iron), and my hair comes out fabulous!
Sounds like you got your routine down 🙌🏾. I can’t wait to straighten my hair again with this line. Probably won’t be until it gets a bit cooler again though lol
Thank you so much sis! At it really has. After I got through those months of postpartum shedding it’s like it just flourished. And I wasn’t even doing anything super special to it either 🥹
Omg! Thank you. I really appreciate that. I've been taking care of it myself since I returned natural and it's definitely the healthiest it has ever been.
Great vid/review! Your hair is beautiful! I felt the same way you did about the price point lol, but after trying last night for the first time - SOO worth it! Absolutely ❤ my results/this system.
Thank you! Yeah, at first I was like 🫠 but after seeing the results I was like 😍 lol. Definitely worth it in my opinion. I don’t straighten my hair often so they’ll definitely last me! I’m glad to hear you also had great results!
Come thru with the Toni Braxton vocals - you bout to make me play that. Your hair looks amazing! I have been influenced! I love how real you kept it on your review from the confusion on which product to use first (as I had that same confusion), to the price factor. Your video clarity is spectacular! I am a new subscriber so I look forward to more videos from you.
lmao!! I be in my own zone when I'm doing my hair thinking I can sing 🤣. I was really confused because there are so many products to choose from and I don't think you *really* need them all. I may try the others at some point though. I'm really happy this video was helpful! Did you end up getting any of them?
Thank you for showing your whole process. When trying to figure out the right technique for me, this helped me see new methods to try because I'm sure we all know figuring out what works for me is the hardest part P.S. Loving your hair!! 🥰🔥💯
Definitely! I’m so glad this video was helpful. I plan to try this collection again once it cools down and see if I can get similar results using less of the products. Thank you so much for watching! 🫶🏾
Right?! They do NOT disappoint. I’m lowkey itching to straighten mine again but this weather has been so wishy washy lately. I don’t want to take any chances with the rain.
Hi ! Thank you for watching 🫶🏾. I used the RevAir. I posted a video about it on my channel. It definitely did what I needed it to do in less time and with less manipulation than a standard blow dryer. But, I wouldn’t say it necessarily got it straighter.
@@ItsTayia (thanks so much for posting this video! I was looking for an in depth review on the press play line and I’m really leaning towards getting it) … but a whole month though?! Did you have to touch it up at all?
It’s a conair brush I randomly got at Sally’s (I think). It’s also on Amazon: amzn.to/3VX0kTN *this is an affiliate link and I’ll earn a commission if you use it 🫶🏾
I love the products, but I’m not too fond of the smell, and I am still confused about the lineup after the conditioner. I did use the OPP last. However, this system is a must for natural girls that like silk presses!
Yeah, after the conditioner it does get a bit confusing. I wasn’t sure if I needed everything or if I could just choose which ones would suit my needs. I truly don’t think you need everything. I feel like after washing, I could’ve gotten away with just the silkening glaze and OPP. But, it definitely had my hair LAID! And I agree, if you love silk presses, this collection is a must 🙌🏾.

I got that too but I’m still waiting 😢 it’s been a week and I’m ready to redo my hair. Sigh
Listen this line is the TRUTH! My daughter and I love it!!!
It really is! Maya did her thing with this line. Really with all The Doux products I’ve tried. They’re all A1!
Hi! How long did it last you? Did it revert?

I just purchased the collection from the 50% off sale that Maya had on President’s Day. I’m so excited to use it. Your hair is beautiful! 🫶🏽
yessss!! Please let me know what you think about it. I ALMOST missed that sale and would’ve been mad if I did lol.
Ohhhh this is NICEEEEE!!! Your hair has grown sooo much since the birth of Neph!!! 😍😍You did an amazing job!

You have some of the most beautifully healthy hair I have EVER seen!

Thank you!! These products did not disappoint at all! They have me excited for my next silk press session 🙌🏾
Nice ! I have the opp trying it out today
Did you try it? How’d you like it?
@ yes I like it a lot
I just discovered this brand two weeks ago and I love it!
What products did you try?? I grabbed quite a few things during the flash sale they had a while ago and can’t wait to try more 🙌🏾
I Just Used My Products Yesterday And Baby They Didnt Disappoint! Especially That O.P.P🔥🔥🔥🔥
Right?! They do NOT disappoint. I’m lowkey itching to straighten mine again but this weather has been so wishy washy lately. I don’t want to take any chances with the rain.
This is a great video! Thank you for demonstrating! BTW, what kind of hair dryer are you using? Do you feel it helped with your straightening results?

And by that I mean it got it just straight but in less time!
How did your silk press hold up in the humidity?
It held up very well! Wore my hair like this for almost a whole month 🙌🏾.

Yeahhhhhh I’m sold!!
Sorry for the late response! Did you end up grabbing anything??
@@ItsTayia yes! I got the shampoo, conditioner & deep conditioner like you recommended & I’m obsessed🤍
Did your curls revert back okay??
It took a few washes but they're back to normal now!
Wow 😮!!!
Right?? lol. The results don’t lie 🙌🏾
Is it safe???
what do you mean by safe? safe for what?
How long did it last?
It lasted about a month. Probably would've lasted longer but I was ready to wash my hair lol
